Trying to create a logo

Well I want to create a logo but I'm not really sure how to start any pointers?

Hi

 

You are going to need  2D image editing software.

I would suggest you get a copy of Gimp 2.8,    http://www.gimp.org/downloads/

There are thousands of beginner video tutorials to be found using Google search and hundreds on creating logos with Gimp 2.8.

 

Once you have your logo completed and saved in Gimp, then you will need to use the Export option to save the logo again but this time using a file format that can be uploaded to Second Life,   .png or .tga for example.

If you are using gimp or photoshop you need some brushes and fonts most deff depending on logo you might need some brush pictures as well. Stuff like sparkles and what not always helps or glare. Just really depending on what you are making there are alot of free brushes and fonts online espeically on deviant art.
