searching inworld is not working properly

Recently i was searching inworld for a friend and the results were that there is no one like that- all the categories adult, moderate and general were selected. I have even seen the person i was looking for posting in the community but when i try to search and contact them inworld it says there is no one like that, what should i do? Also this has happened for many other people i have tried to search.

Just a guess .... You haven't been searching for a person by Display Name, have you?  Display names aren't recognized anywhere in search.

Rolig ia making a good guess. Search on avatar names doesn't work well when you search on Everything. Change to search for People and it works much better.

When asking a question give a good description of what you are doing and how you are doing it. Then we don't have to guess and you don't have to eliminate our bad guesses.
