i bought $20 worth of lindens i logged out and left my house, i come back home to start shopping on secondlife and it says i have 1k left when i know i had 5k and i just changed my password can i get a refund on the stuff that was bought? and just get my 5k back?

Check your account history at on your dashboard to see what happened to the L$ and then, if you still believe your account has been compromised, follow the instructions here to report the matter to LL, 

They will suspend your account for a few days while they investigate but you stand a good chance of getting your money back.
