Never done it before, How do you block incoming  or individual im's?

You block specific IM's by muting or block the person.  You can do that a couple different ways.  If they are in range, you can right click on them and choose Block from the menu.  Or you can pull them up in the Block menu at the bottom of the People page.  Click on the little gear icon and choose Show Blocked Resisents & Objects.  Then select Block person and use the popup search to find the person's name to block.
