Linden realms another's avatar attached to mine

In the realms I have had a few different players seemingly attatch their avatars to follow mine as they are being chased by cloud sentinels.  I have not been sent home, but they have.  My best guess is they are trying to trick the clouds into booting me instead.  The close following is distracting, annoying, and unavoidable.  Is there any way to protect myself?

There's not much that you can do.  It's my understanding that the Lindens keep some sort of short list of suspicious characters that they suspect of stretching the rules in Linden Realms.  Next time it happens, get the name of the person (login name is best, not a display name) and submit an Abuse Report.  That may get the person on the short list so that the Lindens pay closer attention to him for a while.
