Hey guys, I'm in need of some idiot coaching...…….. *pulls face* So first thing is that I'm told my hair isn't showing, even though it does to me...….not fancy hair, quite simple hair. I try to remove it but although it goes white in my outfit list it stays on. If I change to another saved outfit it appears with the other hair from that outfit (to me). I've tested this just now with my Alt...…..and I'm not keen on the bald look...……... If I log off and relog it's OK until I tp, when sometimes the whole thing repeats. I suspect you might tell me to clear the cache. I have no idea how to do that! Please be patient!!! I've searched the properties tabs and searched on the term but I'm no wiser. So.......any advice is welcome....
Has this happened to anyone else? I have had this issue on my account for ages, even now that I just returned. It is sort of annoying, but I just wonder why the game refuses to ackowledge the fact I am an experienced player. I have been playing almost 5 years now. This pop up comes on my screen and tells me to choose my gender, that I can change it later, and to press F1 for any help. Umm.. I am not new? I have a way more advanced character than they provide. I tried clicking out of it, but it would not let me. So I just chose female and it overwrote my current look with some hideous looking noob and then saved it to my inventory as an outfit titled "Female Goth Outfit". I am not sure if it cloned the name of one of my old outfits or if it is actually called that. This character looks like something from 2003. Even the new avatars they have now are ten times better. Luckily, my real look was saved, so I immediately got rid of that ugly thing and I am going to delete the outfit. What can I do to prevent this in the future? I am seriously considering deleting all the starter crap to avoid this in the future. It would be nice to free up room in my inventory. Anyone else experience a similar issue? Reading the contents of the folder, I find the name of her to be "Girl Next Door".
Hi. I am using MLPV2 which rezes a weighing scale and animates the avatar stepping onto the scale. The problem is because the weighing scale is mesh, it rezes too slow. Consequently the avatar has already stepped onto the scale before the mesh has finished rezzing. It looks really wierd. Is there anything I can do to assist the mesh to rez faster? I thought if I had an invisible one already rezzed, secondlife would recognize the textures faster like it does with sculpts, but that didnt work. Any suggestions?
Hi All, On our private island we have recently encountered an issues where complex rezbox's (the ones used for rezing of homes and skyboxes) are unable to completely rez the objects. Often they are able to rez in the furniture though (if it was a furnished home for that matter) but the walls, floors and structures of the buildings itself do not rezed in. Right clicking the object doesn't force load the structures neither does a viewer re-log. In the attached image below you can see that the furniture and backed textures were unpacked fine while the actual structure of the building was not . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. PS : this is effecting all parcels across our Region, big or small. well within prim allowance too.
