I was shopping in the weekend sale, and I bought a thing, just to discover I bought it in 2021 too. I feel a bit stupid. Shouldn't I search my inventory first? I suck it up and say it's my own fault? Or.... send a notecard and explain nicely that I made a double purchase? Hoping to get the money back? It is a low amount, but still... What do you do? Do you bother to ask for a refund? What do sellers do when this happens? Vendors who pay me back and say: "You already bought this" is really helpful for impulsive shoppers! 😃

I'm so confused what happened, but someone hacked my account and buy L$ and didn't use it (I don't know why) that person changed three times with 2500L$, 5000L$, 10000L$ so I want to get refund about this Because there's a lot of damage to reselling it. I know this is not that great money for someone but not for me so it will be appreciate if someone tell me how to refund.

Hello I just bought a hoverboard from the marketplace and it says there it's 100% Mesh, but it isn't, it's all prim. Had I known this fact I would have never bought the product, but the images seem convincing and I thought I was getting a high quality product but in fact it's all made of prim and looks bad in-world. The product doesn't have a DEMO version, of course. I have reported the product for false advertisement. I left a review that the product is misleading, and have sent the merchant a notecard explaining that I want a refund, but I don't think they are active in second life anymore. Is there any way to contact linden labs about this and get a refund? Thank you.

Hi.. so I found someone on the forums who was looking for work as a mesh creator about a month ago, I contacted them in-world through IM's discussing what I was requesting from them. I was told it would take them 5-7 days to complete and that I was to pay L$2500 for them to begin work and pay another 2500 when finished. There was excuses as to why they didn't have any progress shown from busy with holidays (understandable) to equipment failing, etc. I kept my cool about it all while wondering how long I'd have to wait for replies from this person when I would ask about any sort of update after no word for days to a week. So here I am today almost a month of waiting and have yet to see any updates for the last 2 weeks now since they last contacted me asking if i'd like a refund or wait till the next sunday (2 weeks ago) for him to have it completed. I sent them a IM letting them know waiting till sunday would be okay, fast forward 5-6 days later after that sunday.. no word from them. I send 2-3 more messages telling them in less they have some sort of work to show of my request, then I'd prefer to just take my refund and have no hard feelings.. well here I am still to this day with no word if they're really having issues IRL or not but it's crazy to not at least reply back a simple reply in that time frame. I was wondering if there's anything I can do in order to get a refund of my L$2500 that I sent to them in-world? I still have all our IM's saved if that would help at all..

i cancelled an order, but refund not received
accalia0wolfe posted a question in Linden Dollars (L$)
on December 11, I made an order for $87.63, which I immediately cancelled. no refund was received on either of my billing accountS(PayPal/MasterCard) and no money was added to my USD credit(it remains $0) I filed a ticket, that was met with unhelpful replies, and currently sits ignored for its sixth day now. I need someone to help me, whether to guide me to where it could be, or for an LL associate of some kind to talk it through with me... because, with all due respect, it is honestly starting to look a lot like theft to me. thank you very much.
