We just had our region, Zamargad, redecorated and I really wanted to take pictures of it myself, but RL is just way too chaotic to be able to do that project any justice (I've officially given up)... I'm seeking some help because the region is about to be altered again, but we want to have all kinds of pictures to look back on, to feel more comfy when that has to happen. If you wish for any kind of payment, tip, compensation, etc., we do currently have a photography contest going on in the Contest and Adult Events part of the SL forums. I have been having an issue of seeing pictures (mainly in profiles) that come out blurry. I have no idea how to fix this issue, I believe it started after an update but cant remember. Does anyone know how to fix this? Its getting extremely annoying.

Why is the "Advanced Lighting Model" setting making my avatar's face look this horrid? I don't understand. I've tried facelights/bodylights to fix it. Nothing. Tried fixing the windlight, shadows, changing the sky... and nothing. I've reset the textures as well from the LeLutka HUD for the head.. and nothing. I see people take these gorgeous photos where their skin and face look GREAT, but I turn on the "ALM" like everyone tells me to.. and this happens -_-

With this thread I want to encourage residents which either gave up to learn BoM or consider to start to learn BoM and wonder, if it is worth while. Feel free to add you own pictures, edited or not.The only requirement: the displayed avatar must be built with a mesh body/head/, classic skin + BOM. No skin appliers please. Please add a short info, what mesh body/mesh head brand you used. I would be glad, if some find it a good idea. Ok. I start with a Kalhene Anya meshbody. The head is Kalhene also and comes with the body. The skin is a random skin I purchased on the market. Random means, it's not meant for a specific brand. Shape is my own creation. The pictures are not edited. I use custom EEP light settings.

I've recently decided to dive into photography on second life, I've always loved taking pictures in real life so I thought I'd bring that over onto this platform. Hey there folks, I'm pretty new to Second Life in general and am still getting used to things. I've been designing my little living space and I had a question regarding Second Life's policy on images from copyrighted sources. Not to sell or anything, just to display in my room. Specifically, there is some official video game art/posters I'd like to put on a canvas, or maybe a movie poster. Is that allowed by Second Life or completely prohibited? Thanks for your time!
