  1. Hi what I need is another layer for Maitreya. I've tried finding fullperm clothing that would lay close to the skin, but none is close enough. UV map doesn't matter, though ideal would be the default body UV. Ideally if anyone knows of a way to do this, let me know. If it requires a custom rig, also let me know including the price - it doesn't have to be an exclusive mesh. Here is why: I need to be able to apply scrapes, cuts and bruises automatically, without a dialog, and be able to fade those over time via script. I know there's at least two systems out there, but neither fit all that well and both are proprietary which does me no good. Thank you kindly - Jenni Darkwatch
  2. Hi all, I am having a very small issue. I have created a hammer of sorts on Blender, experiemting, getting used to the program, I can upload it to secondlife fine, no issues when uploading but, the issues start when i attempt to rez the object. The object rezzes, but, is not visible, 100% invisible, even when on build mode, rezzing the object I can see it "Exists" but its completely invisible. Resizing the object, the resize sections are even further away from the initial object. But, when i wear the object, I can see it perfectly. But, the X Y Z move tool to adjust it to my hand, it, once more, really far away from the object. I have attached some images with the issue at hand. The first, being my blender file itself. (I'm copying and pasting as I was told you guys would have more of a knowledge base and it'd be best posted here ) Hello, This is my first time on SL and my first time wanting to create something for it. I joined basically so i could do this as i think it's the coolest thing in the world right now. As I tend to learn by asking and figuring out the basics. I have a few questions before I get into making my mesh. Is there a specific poly limit? What about size? how does one rig the mesh, is there a default skeleton? I want to make a humanoid with a tail, can the tail be included in the mesh? I know i should use "Collada" (using blender) and export as .DAE but is there anything else format wise to be wary of? what about making weight maps and texture maps? Same as regular or are there constraints I should be wary of? let me know, and if you have any links to useful tutorials and information send them my way Thanks guys!

  5. Hello, it's me the n00b again, here with another probably silly question. I am making a custom texture for my Crux (by Mutation Industries) avatar with a mod kit. I understand well enough how to make a texture, but there seems to be no actual torso/body mesh to apply the texture to. (attaching screenshots of everything in the folder in case i missed something) Every other body part seems to have a mesh with an option to change the texture when I edit them. When I try to right click and edit the torso, it doesn't select and just shows some options. I found one that says "Textures" and it brings a list of the ones on the model, but I can't seem to do anything there. The only thing I can find that matches up with the body is a thing called "Crux Skin", and I don't really know what to do with that. TL;DR: I want to apply a texture to my avatar, but there is no mesh for the torso and I can only find a thing called a "skin". Thank you for reading and/or helping out!

  7. I would like to make bento animations for my catwa head. with bento hands I'm using with 'FATE Hand Poser HUD' and it works great. But i can't find something for bento heads. How second life artists making bento animation gesture ?
  8. As the title says. I am looking for capable mesh artists in Second life. For some reason I can't seem to find anyone that is capable of doing what i want. And even a complete lack of people to find. In short. I am looking for someone who can create a custom head for a anthro character. I'll also need a tail made, that can work with bento. I know what i am asking for isn't cheap, but i was prepared for that. If anyone is capable. Or if you think you can do what i am asking on the outset.   11. Hola chicos, un saludo. Se que sonare demasiado noob pero pues si, lo soy y creo que para eso esta este foro de ayuda. Para tratar de aprender y solucionar problemas. De antemano agradecida. El asunto es que estoy empezando a diseñar (muebleria) en malla (blender) y subir al juego. Me comentan sobre los prim, que no deberia ponerle tantos prim. Vaya pero nadie me explica, ni siquiera sabia que eran los prim menos que menos sabria como bajarlos. Andaba solo creando y montando ya veo que debo preocuparme por otras cosas antes de hacerlo. La pregunta en si es, como controlo los prim? como los reduzco? que me recomiendan al momento de subir un objeto mesh a SL? por favor se los agradeceria infinitas veces. No quiero que mis articulos pesen tanto ni ocupen todo el terreno. Una simple mesita se comia 70 prim jajajay ojjooo ni se como verlos, lo supe porque me lo dijeron x(
  12. ok, so i have switched to mesh body for a bit now and need just that finishing touch. the head. i use Slink body, hands, and feet, just missing a mesh head. I do have the Jackson mesh head but I didn't quite like it like i thought i would. what look I'm looking for. well, a better version of my current head currently. I don't want it to change too much I just want it to better. I messed with the current shape of the head im using (not mesh) and it kinda looked funky ever since. I want to change that. (I'll leave a pic of what it looks like.) I want it to match the face and skin tone more or less. I could care less about the eyes. also if it can like it to work with the current hair in the picture or some hairs similar to my current one that can work with this new mesh head. pls if you can really like the help
  13. i builded a floorpart (with blender 2.78) and the hitbox dosent work like it should. the hitbox ignores the red and blue faces completly and only formes a simple cube aroudn the hole thing so anytime trying to sand on the blue floorpart the av is hovering. what do i have to do to get a workin hitbox for that floor?

    APOLOGIZE that I make A LOT topics ... I think it should make new topic because it's not the same question.... I'm NOT try to being troll but I'm not sure too that's proper or not ;_; ..... I just afraid that people don't see it... (I would like the answer for being that it may be better if making new topic for new question?) FROM OLD TOPIC Apologize for a lot comments I would like to know that why my uv texture didn't show on mesh when uploading it just show white color t-shirt (I would like to sell it too) More information - I try doing one more file of mesh. The texture was shown on upload window, BUT it's only an object... not rigged ... (although I have rigged). So, I went back to Blender and rigged again ... (using alt+P to clear parent). It fixed about rigging , BUT the UV texturing become not showing again.. - more question .... I have heard that the fee of upload is 10$L ... but why my fee is 41$L ?

  17. Hi everyone, I've got a pretty annoying problem and i do not find any answer anywhere for it. So i'm asking you. I would like to know if someone have experienced the same thing and if you found a solution: I'm building a new mesh. this is my .dea file in marmoset viewer; https://gyazo.com/48add8f96710720c36d421ff0864e41d got 3 material, named: 1 for wall, 2 for windows frame, 3 for glasses. This is how it looks in the preview windows of the latest firestorm release: https://gyazo.com/f2df89bcc4ca996f06f4fcbf494b6d9b So everything seem to be ok for the import (it's the same with or without LODs This is how it looks when I import it: https://gyazo.com/a973b655c4732ffaec14118dd3d3f3c7 UV's are completely broken. What i've already tried to fix this: export in fbx, obj or the entire scene in a new scene (thinking it coud be the scene that is corrupted) : did not work. Tried to link (attach or collapse) and unlink each part and get those imported separatly : did not work Try to rename material, change ID number, having only one material : did not work Tried to upload with and without LODs Tried to import with and without texture Tried in MAX and BLENDER both are not working to change the scene, fbx or obj in .dae that work once it's upload. I do not have any other ideas. I've also tried to see if it was some of the presets in firestorm i could have for texture, but the scale|ratio is 1 as it should be. PRETTY PLEASE help me, this thing is driving me nuts.
  18. Hey guys, I've created mesh clothing, weighted it, fitted it, all works perfectly as intended. I then attempted to get a mesh avatar going, and ran into a problem. Though the avatar uploaded without issue, when I try to attach it, instead of fitting to my body like the mesh clothing did, its hovering off in the distance like an attachment on an invisible selfie stick.   21. Hello, I have a manuel bastioni lab mesh I created using the add on in blender. I have attached it to avastar and whilst the bones work nicely and the weights copied over beautifully. I cannot get it to load into second life properly. it is deforming insanely in the spine and does not match up with the SL avatar (I am wanting it to fit standard sized XS and XXS clothing.) I would like to get someone to help me finish off the rigging of the avatar itself, including bento bones. The mesh has shape keys that I would like to keep in place as well. I'm newish to SL, I really wanted to play in order to not only be in a sandbox/open world type life game, but I wanted the opportunity to start creating mesh designs for a variety of reasons and hone my skill. I have Blender, but I'm looking at tutorials and they all say I need the Avastar and Sparkles extensions. I'm wondering what exactly they are used for, is there free alternatives, do I need them, and if not, how do I go about using Blender and uploading/downloading without it. Thank you all so much
  23. I've been searching all over trying to find an answer for this. Maybe it's right under my nose, but I can't for the life of me seem to figure out how to fix this glitch with eyelashes on the Catwa Catya Bento Mesh Head. I know I can switch from blend mode to mask mode, and that does seem to fix the glitch with my eyebrows, but reduces the quality of the lashes greatly. I see others wearing their lashes for Catwa on blend mode, with makeup on even, and it looks fine. Any assistance on how to fix this issue where there's a flesh toned background to the lashes that cuts into my eyebrows would be much appreciated! I've attached a photo for reference.
  24. I am reselling gacha items on MP. When I go to fill out the description of the item I am unable to move the radial button to "Mesh" or "Partial Mesh", it is stuck on "No Mesh". Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this problem?
  25. I'm looking for frames in the style below. Not necessarily as detailed, and as low LI as possible, preferable no more than 3-4 LI. I want them full perm to resell as frames/mirrors, but also with the background panel as a separate face to use as a vendor. Multiple frames in single mesh in a vendor style is ideal as well (small side panels, and large center panel)
