  2. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, so apologies if I am not. I've had my account for a long time but only now getting into it regularly, and finding that I'm abominable at shopping. I don't know the right devs to search for, so any and all suggestions are welcome. I'm looking for realistic looking hair in blonde tones, with or without roots, and also with or without base hair (babyhairs). I'm using a Catwa Catya head. Hello, From time to time I see that my avatar gets kind of deformed like on this pic: https://gyazo.com/b11880bcb58645b7e0b6b4233d156223 Relogging helps but after I teleport to another place it sometimes comes back (sometimes not - I know, it's weird). I use Maitreya Body and Catwa Head I wonder why it happens and if there is any solution to this.

  6. Hello! I build a vehicle and I have a question about physics shape. it will be a two-story bed and when I get up from the bed, it throws me up through the roof. How to make it not to throw up but push me inside? Any suggestions? all the other positions push me to the right way. I have an idea to make the roof not three cubic blocks but one continuous block curved in two places along the roof arc. What do you think will help? Does it depend on the thickness of the block? still get very thin.

  10. I'm looking for somebody who can help me. I have many ideas for creating mesh nails, but I am unsure of how to make my own mesh nails on blender, and texture after. I have photoshop and blender. Im interested in having a custom mesher do these things for me and possibly teach me in the process, and I will pay well for this if possible.
  11. All right, so I have discovered a behaviour I can't quite understand when uploading mesh models. First off, I created two models for testing, one is basically a smaller version of the other, made with the same tools and workflow. Here is what I get for trying to upload the small model: Looks about right, 0.649 Download impact for 1501 Vertices, I can live with that. (I've turned down LODs for this example to make sure they don't influence the calculation) Next off, here is the bigger version... Woops, now that can't be right. I've gone up from 1501 Vertices to 7239, so the model increased in complexity by ~4.82 times. The download impact however seems to have increased from 0.649 to 18.579, so by ~28.63 times (!). I don't know the exact formular of how SL calculates this number, however this seems too extreme of a difference to be correct. For another example, the source .dae file of the small model is 219.616 Bytes in size (measured from windows properties panel), the file of the big model is 1.053.387 Bytes, which is an increase of ~4.8 times, roughly matching the increase of vertices between the models. Since downloading a file is literally just pushing the bytes of the model over the network I can not understand this unreasonable increase in Download Impact, but then again this is my first upload where I actually pay attention to these numbers, so maybe I'm just missing something obvious here. I hope someone can help me clear this up, thanks in advance for that! Best regards Jack
  12. I am exploring Animesh, and frankly LOVE it! Its been far too long! However I am a little shocked that a mesh that has a land impact of 1 or 2, when the Animesh is enabled jumps to a MINIMUM of 23/24... Is there a reason for this, and a way we can optimise the mesh'es to reduce the land impact? The project I am working on, that I want to use Animesh with, needs the LI much lower. Thanks! and sorry if this is in the wrong category...
  13. Ok so I have a Maitreya body and M3 Venus Anime Head. I know they can work together since I’ve seen videos and such. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix the neck issue (aka the big gaping empty void between the neck and head) that keeps happening. I tried the Omega Neck Fix but tinting it is a pain in the butt. Any of you who use an M3 head with Maitreya body want to teach me your ways and help me combine the two? Any advice or tips are appreciated!

  15. Hello, I'm looking for a custom mesh leash holder to use. Choice of leash holders is I suppose personal and having something signature to yourself is rather desired. Since I lack the skills to create something on my own, I'm seeking a contractor to make something for me. I honestly am not sure if it's easier to have some exacting specifications of what someone wants, or a general idea. I tend to rely on the artist's skills to create something lovely and only give some general guidelines of what I'm looking for in a work. There is not a lot of variety in the market on leash holders, or at least quality ones. Here are the general specs for what I'm looking for: 1) I do want it to be copy/mod. Basic leash holder scripts are easy to find, but should I need to insert something for custom collars in the future...and being able to make some micro sizing adjustments to fit. 2) I'm looking for a design with wall wrap around my hand. I'm on a Maitreya Lara mesh body, and generally most leash holders wrap around the hand below the base of the finger, but not the thumb. I'm a bit flexible on how it fits, but I'm not wanting a bracelet or ring style leash holder 3) As far as main design, I'm really looking for it to be primarily silver, with a secondary color being black, then anything between the two as needed for shading. 4) Logo - I'm a domina on a roleplay sim. I would like the sim logo build into the leash holder. My first thought is the logo in silver as part of the item, with of course, black being the contrast color. I would want the logo, of course, to be on top of the holder, meaning it would rest on the back of my hand That's mostly it. I'll provide some some items here to give some visuals guides. What might be the most difficult part, is the logo. Attached the sim logo, white on black. If you need different colors, I can get someone to provide, and also sent via e-mail in likely a number of formats. It may not be immediate as I'll need to find the sim's admin to provide the type of format as needed. If you're skilled in this, please get in touch with me.   16. Hello! when baking textures in a blender, *blocky* jaggedness appears, how to remove it? texture resolution 2048x2048. I use blender render, selected to active normals/ao baking method, and these are my settings: I even tried 4096x4096 and changed the interpolation option on the Image node from "Linear" to "Smart" but it didnt helped.
  17. Hellow everyone!, I am starting in the bender design and I am currently finishing a rigged model for the NAM Chibi body. To my perception the weight of the skin is acceptable, the base body was provided by the creator and the gray model created by me. i was exported the gray model as collada.dae, and when trying to upload it as a model to SL. I can not include the weight of the skin I have no idea how to solve this error, could someone help me? thank you very much for your attention.!

A mi percepción el peso de la piel esta perfecto, el cuerpo base fue proporcionado por el creador y el modelo gris creado por mi. Eh Exportado el modelo gris como collada.dae, y al momento de intentar subirlo como modelo a SL. no puedo incluir el peso de la piel No tengo idea como resolver este error, No tengo idea si tiene que ver con las dimenciones del modelo en Blender o en la forma en que debo exportarlo, alguien podria ayudarme? muchas gracias por su atencion

It is necessary to remake the script unpacker script into a two-page hud. on the first page, click gives out the content, turns over to the other side with 5 buttons of social networks.   23. So, in the past there has probably been a show off thread for our mesh creations...but I can't find it. So as a relative newbie to meshing, I thought I'd start a new one...but with a bit of a difference. Here's a chance to show off not only what you're working on, but also having a chance to reflect on how you've improved and what you've learned from your project about meshing in SL. I'm hoping that in learning what others have done to improve their meshing, it might also provide tips and thought starters as we seek to improve and optimise our meshes. Here's a recent example of what I've been working on, with two similar potted plants: My early one on the left never quite got the shape I wanted with the mess of planes, and it was tricky to get the plane LODs the way I wanted them. On the right I discovered simple ico-spheres as the base for the bush, and worked out how to bake AOs and play with normal maps for the pot. Had fun with both working out how best to make the LOD models. I'm still trying to work out why small objects break down to lower LODs so quickly. On the left, the pot & bush are one mesh, while on the right they are only linked meshes. The pot on the right jumps to the medium LOD a lot closer than the single joined mesh, meaning I've had to put a bit more detail into the medium level LOD than I would have had the pot been one mesh with the plant.
  24. Greetings. I have a question regarding mesh avatars. I'm following instructions on the rigging instructions page but would like to know something not mentioned there: To what extent are custom bones supported? Is the builtin animation skeleton the only one we can use, or can you import a mesh containing your own armature granted you use custom animations for it? I have several characters not using the builtin rig and bone naming scheme (L_UPPER_ARM, R_HAND, PELVIS, etc) for which I'd prefer to keep existing animations. I don't expect the appearance editor to work, nor things like the head turning around procedurally, but am hoping that with a custom AO I can still get it to animate the movement accordingly. Renaming the bones to match the current SL mesh isn't a problem, but I have special bones as well which I'd like to be supported by custom animations. Do I have any chance of getting that to work? Thank you.
  25. Salve a tutti , scrivo in italiano per evitare problemi di traduzioni involontaria, e per permettere anche ,alle altre persone di poter tradurre in autonomia quello che io scrivo. Ovviamente come si può ben capire io non sono inglese ,quindi mi devo avvalere di questi espedienti. Fondamentalmente il mio problema è inerente all'importazione. Di oggetti di mesh . Come si evince dalle fotografie , io utilizzo il programma Zbrush per creare le mie creazionie . Cerco per quanto mi è possibile di utilizzare il minor numero di poligoni punti e triangoli ,per la creazione del suddetto oggetto. Dopo aver creato tutto quello che mi potrebbe servire da poter portare su second life , carico questo oggetto dentro Blender , cercando di rendermi conto di quale sia il reale limite , per una futura importazione su seconda vita. Come si vede dalla foto sembra che tutto sia nei parametri. Come si evince dall'ultima è più triste fotografia , al momento dell'importazione del famoso oggetto ,subito il simulatore mi dice che la cosa non è possibile perché è di valori molto più alti rispetto a quello che sono indicati . Non riesco a capire realmente dove potrebbe essere il problema . Sono anche arrivato a pensare che al momento della creazione dell'oggetto su Zbrush, ili programma crei dei sotto metadati ,che rimangono intrinseche a modello ben definito, e anche ho cercato di trovare, il sistema per eliminarmi ma con scarso successo.
