  1. Can anyone please tell me what the name of the top, panties and stockings are in this picture? I have been trying to look for this omega set on the marketplace and in world but with no luck, if anyone know the name of the omega items in this picture please let me know thanks UPDATE: someone told me the stockings and panties are a set but the top is from somthing else but i still don't know the names of them or the store from where they come from

I hope i can explain this well enough, i have a fitted mesh skirt (not made by me) but have full rights to it, i would like to add a nano prim to it for decoration, when i do it jumps all around my body, does not stay where i wanted it, i wear Maitreya Mesh Body if that helps, example i attache to belly & it goes inside belly up, down just simply does not stay put lol, has a mind of it's own, also can not attache my prim belly ring with out it going inside me or up or down, any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong, again I DID NOT CREATE THE MESH SKIRT, i just simple want to add jewelry to it to make it look different, thanks in advance
  3. Hey guys! I'm make mesh clothing for mesh body like maitreya, slink... etc. Also using for default avatar, but I wanna make fitted clothing.. where rigging will be fitted. I'm totally noobs about that.. then idk what version of avatar i need buy for fitted/rigged this clothing base on mesh body or non-desfault avatar. Where place need buy? Avastar 1 or Avastar 2? Thanks!
  4. Hello I have a problem with mesh objects that keeps bothering me - as maker and shopper as well - and it seems like a mysterious the more I focus on it. I`ll try to demonstrate the problem through a series of pictures. All snapshots were taken at LOD 4. Image #1 Here you have a couch I`ve made in Blender and uploaded to SL. The base frame and cushions are 2 objects exported unjoined as a linkset dae. The two throw pillows are 2 meshes saved and uploaded as 1 object. I did not custom made any LOD models. The lowest LOD was set to zero and physics set to lowest. As you can see it holds it shape across the sandbox at Mauve. Image #2 Panel #1 Here you have the same couch. I`ve added a chair, a coffee table and a rug. The grid is made by 10x10 meters unlinked prims (not mesh). I am standing about 20 meters away from the seating group. Notice the brick wall to the right. (The coffee table has actually dropped down to the medium level at this distance. It`s only to be expected and tells me that the LODs are behaving correctly at this state.) Panel #2 I walk over behind the brick wall. Panel #3 Here I step out from behind the wall and walk up to the same place where I started. Now the cushions and the throw pillows have dropped to the lowest LOD depsite I have returned to the same state as in panel #1. I did not touch the camera during this exercise. The cushion and pillows will stay like this as long I stand still - like stuck at the lowest level - however, and here comes the mystery, I can trigger the LODs to switch to a higher level by either walking forwards or backwards - even pulling my camera back ! Panel #4 In the last panel I`ve pulled the camera back to upgrade the LOD and now the couch looks right - but notice the camera is farther away than in panel #3 . That`s the thing I don`t understand. I see this issue in my own mesh builds - foremost cushions and pillows - but now and then I see the same thing occure at other home furnishing stores around SL. I use the LL Viewer (see details at the bottom) and have experimented with different settings but nothing seems to help. Nor does the issue seem to depend on how I set my LOD factor. The same problem occurs at LOD 2, LOD 4 and even LOD 6 Last week I started to read back on almost anything I could find about the mesh uploader and LOD in this forum. Depsite I have gained a lot of other useful information on how to optimze my mesh I haven`t found any explanation to this specific problem. To be exact: 1. What happened to the couch while I was behind that wall ? 2. How come the the cushions won't upgrade when I walk up to exact the same place as where I started ? 3. How come you can trigger the LOD to switch to a higher level by walking backwards or simple pulling your camera back ? I greatly appreciate any suggestion on this problem.   7. So recently I've been on the prowl for a specific style of men's pants. Now, the idea here is that these pants are pulled down or sagged down to the knees, exposing the entire crotch/rear area. I have poured over marketplace and scoured my friends list asking around and this doesn't seem to exist. Yet I've seen one person wearing such a set of pants, I simply can't get ahold of him. I've found one pair of jogger pants on the marketplace that matches what I'm looking for, unfortunately I'm looking for a more baggy, grungy jean style of pant for this idea. If anybody has any ideas or could even commission create a pair of pants to match what I need, I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks for the help~

FIXED: I feel a bit silly now but I believe it's because I had made some changes to the topology and forgot to update the uvs Hi, I have tried looking on the forum and I just cannot work out why I am getting this error. I created a skirt in blender, which I have uploaded to second life multiple times for testing and all times it worked fine. Today I have been getting the DAE Parsing Error while uploading. I have the same mesh in a few sizes, the xxs small version was giving me the same error but I somehow managed to fix it (no idea what I did). Now when I try to upload the same mesh but scaled up I get the error. Second life will also let me upload my other LODs fine. I have tried applying scale and rotations in blender, changing the name of the file, exporting it to desktop and I have checked that all the normals are facing in the right direction. I know that exporting it as a .obj then to a .dae will fix the problem but I don't want to have to rig my mesh all over again. I've included a photo of the skirt in blender

  12. Hi there, I am making a mesh head using blender. At this point in time I am trying to align my mesh's neck, with the avastar/SL neck so that it will work with most bodies. Is there a mesh head creator out there who could help me? (Or really anyone who makes body parts that align with other things) Cheers
  13. So I've been in SL for a long time and I've always wanted to look a certain way as a male but never could. The reason being is that Ive wanted a physic that looks muscular but doesn't have muscle tone and isn't rocking a six pack but instead has a belly. I've talked to mesh creators and most don't want to take on the project because they don't want their name attached to it. Am I stuck to having the perfect ken doll body if I choose to have a male mesh figure?
  14. Hello and first of all thanks for taking the time to read through my problem. I have been trying to get into content creation for SL, starting with smaller tasks and working up. I decided to try to create a nice looking rock/stone, complete with generated textures and bumpmap UV-unwrapped onto the model. I have however come to the problem that after the import into SL, the mesh seems to stack the render layers incorrectly when viewing from certain angles. (Like this) I would try to fix the problem myself, however even after quite some searching on the web I could not figure out what causes this issue, so I'm asking here now. I would greatly apreciate any help regarding this, best regards and thanks in advance, Jack.

    Kemono Body glitch?

    So I recently started to put together a kemono Avi as a Roleplay character. The only issue I am having is that there is an odd gap between my add-on chest (Rei's Chest) and the rest of my avi. It looks like someone has rip the poor thing in half and for the likes of me, I can not figure out what is going on. I have tried reattaching it, repurchasing a new chest, resetting the textures and even rebaking my avi yet NOTHING seems to be working. Anyone else having these issues or can help me fix it?

  17. I love my mesh head from LAQ, but I would like a more detailed skin. LAW has decent skin, but to me it can look a little like play-doh. I was wondering if anyone knows of any other skin designers who make appliers for it? I haven't had much luck, but I really like HUSH skins. It's just a shame they don't seem to make appliers for them.

  19. I've seen several articles about mesh versus non-mesh avatars. My question is, do you think that eventually everyone will have a mesh avatar? Is mesh like the Borg, certain to assimilate you in the long run? Or do you suppose there will always be a group of people that use the non-mesh style? I have both, but it is much easier to use the older style than fuss with the mesh and get everything right. If I don't learn to use the mesh, will that doom my social life?
  20. Hi what I need is another layer for Maitreya. I've tried finding fullperm clothing that would lay close to the skin, but none is close enough. UV map doesn't matter, though ideal would be the default body UV. Ideally if anyone knows of a way to do this, let me know. If it requires a custom rig, also let me know including the price - it doesn't have to be an exclusive mesh. Here is why: I need to be able to apply scrapes, cuts and bruises automatically, without a dialog, and be able to fade those over time via script. I know there's at least two systems out there, but neither fit all that well and both are proprietary which does me no good. Thank you kindly - Jenni Darkwatch
  21. Hi all, I am having a very small issue. I have created a hammer of sorts on Blender, experiemting, getting used to the program, I can upload it to secondlife fine, no issues when uploading but, the issues start when i attempt to rez the object. The object rezzes, but, is not visible, 100% invisible, even when on build mode, rezzing the object I can see it "Exists" but its completely invisible. Resizing the object, the resize sections are even further away from the initial object. But, when i wear the object, I can see it perfectly. But, the X Y Z move tool to adjust it to my hand, it, once more, really far away from the object. I have attached some images with the issue at hand. The first, being my blender file itself. (I'm copying and pasting as I was told you guys would have more of a knowledge base and it'd be best posted here ) Hello, This is my first time on SL and my first time wanting to create something for it. I joined basically so i could do this as i think it's the coolest thing in the world right now. As I tend to learn by asking and figuring out the basics. I have a few questions before I get into making my mesh. Is there a specific poly limit? What about size? how does one rig the mesh, is there a default skeleton? I want to make a humanoid with a tail, can the tail be included in the mesh? I know i should use "Collada" (using blender) and export as .DAE but is there anything else format wise to be wary of? what about making weight maps and texture maps? Same as regular or are there constraints I should be wary of? let me know, and if you have any links to useful tutorials and information send them my way Thanks guys!

  24. Hello, it's me the n00b again, here with another probably silly question. I am making a custom texture for my Crux (by Mutation Industries) avatar with a mod kit. I understand well enough how to make a texture, but there seems to be no actual torso/body mesh to apply the texture to. (attaching screenshots of everything in the folder in case i missed something) Every other body part seems to have a mesh with an option to change the texture when I edit them. When I try to right click and edit the torso, it doesn't select and just shows some options. I found one that says "Textures" and it brings a list of the ones on the model, but I can't seem to do anything there. The only thing I can find that matches up with the body is a thing called "Crux Skin", and I don't really know what to do with that. TL;DR: I want to apply a texture to my avatar, but there is no mesh for the torso and I can only find a thing called a "skin". Thank you for reading and/or helping out!
