  1. I'm looking to pay someone who can make a underwear mesh for the kemono body. Preferably unrigged and rigged versions (one that fits perfect and one that can have it's size change.) Would need one version for default kemono body and one for kemono busty fitted torso.   4. I want to ask about alpha texture on mesh object. About a phenomenon to be seen in HAIR in particular. It becomes transparent when I stack the object which set up alpha texture → image① but there is the object which does not become transparent even if stack alpha texture → mage② image : https://prnt.sc/nabztj What are these two differences? Is it not alpha texture? Is it a problem of texture? Is any setting necessary before/after uploading it? Please instruct me on what I should do.
  5. I won't name-and-shame anyone, including their brand. But I am seeing this consistently with this particular brand, and also seems to be prevalent among other specific "brands" along with a mish-mash of likewise all over the grid. Here is what it is supposed to look like: But cam away only a few meters and it crumbles to bits (compare it to the other boats nearby): Yes, yes, I know: "Set LOD to 4, you dim-wit!" Ummm, NO. I shouldn't have to adjust my setting just so your lazy work looks "normal" because, to me, the *default* is "normal" (and people complain about rezzing and frame-rate performance and things - go figure). There is a reason that there are multiple LODs when you upload your mesh, folks. Stop trying to cut the LI of your beasts by cheating with zero mid-LOD and zero low-LOD. Seriously? And you are charging L$4500+ for this stuff? I shop vehicles all the time. There is this set of tires that a lot of creators are using that turn to garbage at, ready for this?: 15 Meters! I'm with the impression that too many creators are creating LOD-LOL. This is one reason I never buy anything without a demo (not only how it looks, but also how it fits or drives, etc.) The sad thing is people forget to alt-cam *away* from the demo to see how well it holds up at a distance. I badly wanted to let one woman know, that I saw at a place, that she was Naked in a G-rated location. When I cammed into her the dress appeared. (!) I didn't have the heart to tell her that she was stark-naked to everyone outside of 15 meters of her. 😕 So, I suppose this is a rant-post (not, rage-post - because I usually laugh when I see it) - I'm curious if I'm just unlucky and seeing these more often than others, or if it happens a lot and people just don't care... or... So, without being rude or anyone taking anything personally, what's your feedback on this apparently growing phenomenon (well, it seems that way to me, anyway)? I'm really curious what mesh-uploaders have to say.
  6. Hello! I am making a small building about 3 x 5 in size and baking AO map in blender render, but for some reason it appears too dark inside, the walls seem gray. How can I make it lighter but not lose the shadow in the corners? (the building has two doors and windows on all walls).

Sometimes I encounter such a problem on a firestorm when uploading a mesh and textures made in a blender. everything seems to be done correctly, but it turns out an absolutely black surface in the game. The texture looks fine, baked in a blender. reworked several times. reassigned materials. checked the amount of materials. really do not want to redo everything again. What can be wrong?
  8. Hello! I recently (about two weeks) have been experiencing constant difficulties in trying to upload textures and mesh in a beta grid firestorm. not shown balance, permanent errors and feils. On main grid problems too. something is wrong with the sky and the stars, then all black is unclear what. what is happening? Who else has such problems? what is the reason?

  10. Well, maybe not neutral. Second Life is a medium for creativity, for diversity, exploration and expression. A wonderful one, at that, where we can be ourselves or someone else entirely - explore things we wouldn't otherwise explore, meet people we wouldn't have otherwise met; it's truly a testament to how far technology has come, creating a whole new world for us to explore. But one thing the Second Life market seem to be in short supply of, is clothes that are rigged for all bodies - regardless of gender; so people with male bodies could wear traditionally feminine clothing and vice versa. I know, I know -- not everyone is trans or non-binary, or want to explore different forms of self-expression - but a lot of people do, so where's the harm in accommodating them and targeting a whole new demographic? Throw out the idea that only certain people can wear certain things, and watch more people rock your clothing! People do it for club events, for parties, for Halloween, or even daily! I wish more creators did this and I wish more tackled v-tech - people who wear it are in short supply of skins, clothes and everything else. If I had the talent, knowledge or taste, I would do it, but even then - it takes more than one person to make it a thing! So let's make this happen, hm? Let's give people the ability to wear what they want!

  12. Hi, As the title said, having trouble with snap to base function or store join edits with avastar. I'm currently working on the Kemono bento base file and I've made wings that use the bento fingers but when ever I've made the edits and select the bones to press "snap to base", it either reverts the fingers back to default or pushes the skeleton back and keeps doing so. Was wondering if there was a reason for this. Thanks, Mimaah

    uploading mtl

    I'm currently using the 3d builder program that came with my laptop, which sadly doesnt save anything as dae files. I was told it;s easy to convert obj to dae, but the ones I've uploaded to Blender don't have any texture or color from the original file. Is there a way to upload the mtl files that were created along with the obj's as textures to apply to the dae files i upload? Right now I'm just working with basic texturing and simple shapes, so it shouldnt be that difficult, right?

I've had my account for a long time but only now getting into it regularly, and finding that I'm abominable at shopping. I don't know the right devs to search for, so any and all suggestions are welcome. I'm looking for realistic looking hair in blonde tones, with or without roots, and also with or without base hair (babyhairs). I'm using a Catwa Catya head.   17. Hello! I build a vehicle and I have a question about physics shape. it will be a two-story bed and when I get up from the bed, it throws me up through the roof. How to make it not to throw up but push me inside? Any suggestions? all the other positions push me to the right way. I have an idea to make the roof not three cubic blocks but one continuous block curved in two places along the roof arc. What do you think will help? Does it depend on the thickness of the block? still get very thin.

Okay so I took Signature Gianni Rigged body and exported it as .dae file , including armature and checked "deformed bones only" , then I imported that dae file in Marvelous designer and when i move the bones the mesh does not move with them, it seems unrigged. Please help me figure out what I'm missing what I'm doing wrong. I checked Forums and Youtube but nop no answers related to this issue

  22. I'm looking for somebody who can help me. I have many ideas for creating mesh nails, but I am unsure of how to make my own mesh nails on blender, and texture after. I have photoshop and blender. Im interested in having a custom mesher do these things for me and possibly teach me in the process, and I will pay well for this if possible.
  23. All right, so I have discovered a behaviour I can't quite understand when uploading mesh models. First off, I created two models for testing, one is basically a smaller version of the other, made with the same tools and workflow. Here is what I get for trying to upload the small model: Looks about right, 0.649 Download impact for 1501 Vertices, I can live with that. (I've turned down LODs for this example to make sure they don't influence the calculation) Next off, here is the bigger version... Woops, now that can't be right. I've gone up from 1501 Vertices to 7239, so the model increased in complexity by ~4.82 times. The download impact however seems to have increased from 0.649 to 18.579, so by ~28.63 times (!). I don't know the exact formular of how SL calculates this number, however this seems too extreme of a difference to be correct. For another example, the source .dae file of the small model is 219.616 Bytes in size (measured from windows properties panel), the file of the big model is 1.053.387 Bytes, which is an increase of ~4.8 times, roughly matching the increase of vertices between the models. Since downloading a file is literally just pushing the bytes of the model over the network I can not understand this unreasonable increase in Download Impact, but then again this is my first upload where I actually pay attention to these numbers, so maybe I'm just missing something obvious here. I hope someone can help me clear this up, thanks in advance for that! Best regards Jack
  24. Hello, I want to create feet accessories for the Maitreya, Slink and Belleza feet. Problem is, that the toes are united in the blend file but seperated in SL InGame. I would like to export the feet of the Maitreya, Slink and Belleza bodies from the game to get the right meshes for positioning but it's not possible. Anyone who knows how to deal with this situation? Regards
  25. I am exploring Animesh, and frankly LOVE it! Its been far too long! However I am a little shocked that a mesh that has a land impact of 1 or 2, when the Animesh is enabled jumps to a MINIMUM of 23/24... Is there a reason for this, and a way we can optimise the mesh'es to reduce the land impact? The project I am working on, that I want to use Animesh with, needs the LI much lower. Thanks! and sorry if this is in the wrong category...
