  1. Hey there, a new creator here, so I'm doing poses, and when I upload them everything works except for the hands. They are super spread apart but were posed close together. (I'm posting an image) I've set it to priority 3 and made sure to stop all in-world poses and ao, I've also tried with a different body but the problem remains. I'm using avastar and exporting as .anim. If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it! Dox.
  2. Hey, I'm having issues where, in the newest Belleza Jake update- my hands don't hide after relogging and come back up from their Alpha state. Is there an issue in the script itself or is there something that is causing it to keep popping up where I don't have to keep putting the HUD on and re-hiding them each time I have to relog? I've been ignoring the issue until now it's very troublesome and I was wondering if there is a fix or something that does fix this. I tried asking in the main chat but every time I try to open it up, it won't let me chat at all.
  3. Hi everyone. I have a Belleza Freya body and find that my hands are not fitting at the wrist. They look like they are sliced and refitted badly at the wrist. This is the best way I can explain it. Does anyone know how to fix this at all please?
  4. I'm not sure this is even possible but it doesn't hurt to ask anyway. I'm basically looking for something that will alter the shape of my avatar's hands, specifically to make the fingers a bit longer for some of my more eerie/monstrous looks. I use a few deformers already like MT's body slimmer and SS's leg extender, but I haven't seen anything quite like that for hands/fingers. If anyone knows of anything like this or could even make something like it, hit me up! I know the 'easy' solution is to just get some mesh monster hands/claws but I've yet to find any that provide the look I'm going for. Thanks a bunch to anyone that can help ♥
  5. I have been working with Blender for mesh clothes creation for a year now, and have found my way around most problems I encountered so far. Most dev-kits have their own little quirks and once you know about them you can solve the problems they cause. One problem I have not gotten out of the way is rigging for Bento hands. Especially Maitreya and even more so: Belleza. Belleza's dev-kit bento hands can be imported and avastar can convert the rig, but does not provide the bones for the hands. Rigging to a standard avastar 2 skeleton really gives horrible results (deformed hands and fingers). The cause is most probably altered bones... Does anyone know how to properly set up the Belleza bento hands (or cheeky question: has a blend-file with a properly set-up set of belleza (bodies and) hands) in Blender + Avastar 2. Editing the skeleton bones for the hands seems like a world of pain on it's own...
  6. Hello! I'm trying to rig a bento hand for avatar, but every time unsuccessfully. Can someone give a link to a good non - Avastar tutorial or explain in your own words what I'm doing wrong? here is the process i use: -- downloaded bento workbench from this site. -- opened in a blender. -- I create an object (hand). -- I place the object and the skeleton on one layer. -- I select object, then a skeleton. -- I hit control + P. -- I choose the Armature deform -- With automatic weights. -- I check if it works in a Pose Mode. -- I export in a collada format with object and skeleton both selected. -- These are the settings I set when exporting. -- When uploading a model, this is the screen (weights and joints are not displayed). that's all. I do not use Avastar, because I am not familiar with it. can this be done without it? what am I doing wrong? With a regular skeleton rig, everything works out perfectly, the process is the same. How is bento different from normal besides more bones? And do i need to delete unused bones? Please, help!
  7. I bought this classic avatar for a friend https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/FIONA-Complete-Avatar-NEW/6788458 It's very nice, but the hands and feet are horribly missing detail. What I want to do is replace the hands and feet with far better detailed ones. Is this possible for classic avatars and if so, how is this done and where might I find a good vendor?
  8. I was at the SL14B shopping area this weekend and I saw several avatars who had good proportions... except for having very small hands. Is there something in the mesh hand design causing this? I have the major mesh bodies and I can make regular sized hands. Are people just being weird like having tiny heads or super wide hips? I must admit that I saw one woman with incredibly large hands. I stared at her for several minutes. Her profile was empty.

So, ever since the hype began about all the new features of ~Bento~ and we all sat with baited breath waiting for the big drop, there was one line I couldn't ignore: "11 extra limb bones for wings, additional arms, or extra legs." In the first bullet point under the headline, "Introducing Project Bento", my dream come true. Let's look again: "additional arms" *clutches holographic Machamp card* So I waited. Nothing. I waited some more. I inquired. I pressured. I attempted to learn mesh at a snail's pace so that I might accomplish my goals on my own. Agony. Today, upon closer inspection of the list of bones included in the Bento update, I am now confused. Are there additional arms or aren't there? Is it even possible to create independently moving bento arms for an avatar like...a Hindu god or a D'Jinn or some kind of fighting type pokemon? It seems to me that it would have been included but...I just don't know anymore. My question is whether or not this feature does in fact exist as advertised or if I'm wasting my own time by looking for it. If it -is- there, I can at least have what I want made custom.
  10. For some reason, my hands have stopped animating when I use bento poses. I have tried with the Maitreya and my Vista hands but nothing is working. Have I fubared a setting? Help!
  11. Hi, I am having a problem with my Slink bento hands. They have this tendency to disappear into my body when certain animations are running. One of the AO's I am using has a few fold-arms-across-my-chest animated stands and when my arms are crossed each hand gets absorbed in the other forearm and it looks pretty terrible. The same happens with some hands on hips pose animations. The hand doesn't know where to stop but ends up disappearing into my side. Is there any solution to this or do I just have to learn to live with these glitches in animations? Are there any AO's that are tailor made for specific bodies that might avoid the issue? I am wearing a Slink Physique body with the new Slink bento hands. Thanks! Saga
