Visit in Second Life DISTANCE by Mich Michabo Over the course of 2020 and 2021, Mich's photography approaches a familiarity to a world emptied by COVID. The audience will explore how her Second Life relationships and connections began to mirror those of reality and the different ways she explored the self in a time of isolation and uncertainty. DISTANCE is being displayed at the 2D gallery located in the GBTH project's region. Spiralo “Spiralo” is a virtual cultural complex produced by the noise-classical music project 'Tia Rungray'. The space will include a sound installation hall, a gallery, a café, and a shopping floor. The name "Spiralo" means "spiral" in Esperanto, and the name comes from the fact that the floors are arranged in a spiral pattern, inspired by the image of everyday life and art blending together in virtual life. The idea is to make it easier to enjoy high-quality art activities in Second Life and to make visitors more aware of their close relationship to life. It functions to make everyday activities such as watching, listening, dressing, talking and photography more artistic. It offers you a way to enjoy the time and space in which you can relax in everyday life. As a cultural hub for contemporary art in Second Life, “Spiralo” hopes to continue to create a cultural scene. As of about 5 minutes ago, the process is complete and we finally have access! We are slowly updating the entries now. Stand for Justice - In Support of Black Lives Stand for Justice is a fundraising effort within the virtual world Second Life dedicated to raising funds for Black Lives Matter, Black Visions Collective, Campaign Zero, the National Police Accountability Project, and a Split Bail Fund benefitting 38+ bail funds nationwide. First, here are a few new and interesting regions to explore in Second Life: Little Santorini Little Santorini is a Second Life destination based off of the Greek Islands. The region is beautiful and immersive. You can walk on the volcanic sand beach with your lover or take a stroll through the markets as the locals sell their wares.
