Hello! So Back closer to the start of '22 I came across this Modern-ish Coffee / Chat Hang-out & or Chat Hot Spot place on the grid. This place was featured briefly on the "Destination Guide" under the "Newcomer Friendly" and or "Featured Events" tab on the Destinations of interest "box" This place had either two, maybe three sofa's placed more or less in the centre and around a table that had dice on it and if i remember correctly it also had a few other things like books and a mini Connect-Four game as well etc etc.. This place was new at that time, Because I remember the Owner asking everyone in Local Chat how they found out about this coffee/ Chat-Hangout place. At the time I originally visited this place, it wasn't very busy.. There was maybe like 5 or 6 other Avies total if memory recalls correctly. Can't remember if this place was a "G", "M" or "A" rated Sim. Now for the life of me I can't find this place anywhere I look, like with-in my TP history, Saved LM's in my inventory, Even searching though the Destination guide I can't seem to find this place at all.. Any kind of help would be great! -

Hello everyone! I have been trying to find some places to hang out in and find friends, but it seems very difficult to find a community so I decided I would give it a shot in here. I am a creator in my early 20's with my own SL store, and wish to find other like-minded people who like making things, taking photos or do anything else creative. Other than that, I enjoy doing hunts in SL, voicechatting, playing games (Dead by Daylight, The Sims, Death Stranding, etc) and singing. By the way, feel free to tell me if you know any good places to meet new people If you're interested in perhaps hanging out in SL to chat or explore and get to know eachother, let me know!

There used to be safe hubs and stuff like that but so many turned off the voice option. I'm not really in the mood to just dance and text like people do at most clubs...Where do people go just to hangout and talk to each other now?

It would be nice to have a xmpp chat server that works inside and outside the SL. Sometimes it is nice to keep in touch with residents even after logout.

I've been running into this for a while now. I'll type some in nearby chat or DMs and the entry will duplicate itself. I am using the latest Firestorm release (64-6.4.13.63251) on a Windows 10 desktop. I uninstalled the viewer for several months and used the viewer on my laptop instead. While I did not run into the same issue, running the viewer tends to overheat my laptop. So, I reinstalled it on my desktop and didn't have the issue for at least a week and now it's happening again. I've seen that it could be a wifi issue, but both my laptop and desktop are on the same wifi. I am unable to hardwire my desktop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

My avatars facial expression changes when I type. The script/animation clearly has a bug because it leaves me with an inane smile when complete. I do not know where this animation is coming from is it does not appear in my AO and it happens even when the AO is deactivated. I have a Genus head, but a friend has the same one and does not have this issue. I am using Firestorm, but the issue is also present in the SL standard viewer. Is there a way of seeing which animation is running as I type?

I'm having trouble with my friends list going back to where everyone can see me online. One day I wanted to be alone and not be bothered by anyone so I went down my whole friends list and Un-Checked "can see when I'm online". Well now I want it back to where ALL my friends can see when I login. I re-applied the check mark next to every single name. But my friends tell me they still do not get notified and it still shows me offline. Even after rechecking each name, it doesn't save either. I log back in and all the names are unchecked again. This is becoming a hassle because friends cannot send me a teleport because I appear offline to them. And it's nice for friends to see when I login because I miss the "Hello" messages. I've checked in CTRL+P preferences... rechecked all the names, uninstalled Firestorm and reinstalled it. Downloaded BlackDragon to see if I could fix the settings in that viewer too.

I've heard Discord mentioned a couple of times but I've never used it myself. Do residents use discord to chat in SL instead of using chat inside SL itself? What's the story with Discord? -

So yeap, the title is pretty much self explanatory... Will there be any Event regarding the upcoming World Environmental Day on June 5 ? Any event or tour or gathering...just anything to commemorate the World Environment Day on SL platform? RE-OPENING OF - ACOUSTIC TOSCANO CAFE The Acoustic Toscano Village Cafe was born approx 4 years ago, opened to create a meeting point for the many residents living within the Acoustic group of sims that have been around since 2007. It was a great success, gaining regular visitors from all over the world, who enjoyed the chilled atmosphere and our no judgment ethos. The dance area was regularly used facing the cafe with twinkling lights and a beautiful intimate setting below the growing grape vines. We have a....no unusual avatar ‘ban’ aside nudity due to the area being moderate. Sadly we had to close two years ago, but after missing the cafe and community feel it developed, we decided recently to re-open with a fresh look, built by joint owner of Acoustic Gardens, Lynne Lundquist. She has made a lovely space for everyone to enjoy. Both residents and visitors are always welcome. Please join our group in world and FB for lots of chat and regular updates on what’s planned. As a very active person I talk too much with people, sometimes I have to go and leave the conversation without ending it. Sometimes I wish I could open an app just like WhatsApp and continue wherever I am without needing to bring my lap top with me. It would be really cool if just that was added, i don't ask for a fully SL app, but just an app to keep with the chat. What do you guys think, you guys feel the same way? Let me know! 😆

hello! i am trying to make a script for vehicle which triggers an action by local chat command (on channel 0). but if its two or more same vehicles standing nearby - it will trigger them all? also if someone else says that command, they all will listen and be triggered? how to avoid it and make it listen to only owner's chat command and only the one i am sitting in?

Hello! when using the unpacker script (or item giver), I get a message in the chat: [12:22] Second Life: Object owned by Sunbleached gave you 'test item' ( Blahblah (82,146,3000) ). it is not written anywhere in the script. Is it possible to remove this message using a script? I understand it given by the viewer itself...
