  1. i am probally misunderstanding something here.. but why does Avastar 2 creates a rig for me with 159 bones if i can't get more than 110 inside SL ? I rigged my avatar and SL is not recognizing my weights.. It was working fine before trying out the Extended armature (bento) =(
  2. Hello there ^-^! I am someone who played Second Life a couple years ago and am just starting anew! However, all this new content has gotten me a little perplexed. I am interested in the new Utilizator Normie Head, but I have no idea how I would use or being to use it. I have used the Kemono Body and Head, and I found it much easier to find content for it in the marketplace. But I am interested in the new head as I am looking for a new look, and a body less- Small? If anyone has some pointers on how to find content for this head, like shapes, skins, hairs, and other things, please tell below! ( I would also like some info about the Omega systems)

    Catya head.

    I was wondering if it's possible to make a Catwa head fit on for instance a male Signature or Slink body. Whenever I try that the neck of the head doesn't allign with the body. Best regards,
  4. Hi all, since the introduction of Bento on the grid I have been having an issue that I can't quite figure out. When I am animating a piece of furniture (I use Avsitter & have for years) I can set the male & female animation in a couples pose & it looks fine. I dump the info, add it to the AVpos note card & retest & my avatars body breaks. It contorts into a weird back broken stance & won't change until I hit un-deform avatar. That fixes me until I run through the animations again & it breaks again. It's not always the same animation causing it either. It's weird I can put a totally different animation in and it will break in the same place. Some people see it break for them as well & others do not. I'm at a loss as to how to fix it. In my 8 years, I've never encountered this issue & it only happens if I have bento animations in my furniture, but, I can't be the only person not using Bento on the grid. Any ideas on how to fix it? I took off my ankle lock, all my huds to do with head or body & my AO. Still happens. Is it possible that it was uploaded wrong or something?
  5. Hello everyone! I've come here to look for a creator who is knowledgeable in bento animations and AO's. Why? I find myself frustrated for the lack of mermaid AO's that don't look stiff while wearing a bento mermaid tail, as a roleplayer i find this extremely annoying and while i know bento is still new, I would like to put this out there and see if anyone is already working on this or maybe is willing to. If the answer to the latter is yes, i would also like to know the cost and more details about it since i'm not very knowledgeable in bento or animations at all.   6. I´ve created quite a lot mocap animations, exporting them using the standard skeleton. Now i would like to try doing the same with the bento skeleton. Where can i get if from? Thanks in advance.
  7. Recently I upgraded my head to a Catwa Bento. Unfortunately, my Animations HUD doesn't work 100%. Sometimes I need to keep my mouth open and it return to closed position, so I need to deactivate the option and play again. But the worst happen when my animation HUD got stuck and doesn't work at all. Even I can't detach it and need to restart the program to be able to use it. That happen in any place, laggy or not.
  8. Hello, people! I have been thinking for a while of changing my standart SL head into mesh one. Ive been struggling between TMP and Catwa Daniel. I tried to find info about the TMP heads, but there is not much in internet and youtube, if anyone can give an opinion about this brand - are they good, is the difference between deluxe and the one which costs 1k only in the animations, do I get them with options about the face or I should buy them separately, can I change its shape...
  9. I am looking for someone that could build a custom bento tail. I would like it to have some special animations such as being able to sit and float on the tail, able to swing it around and hug it, and any other animations that would suit it. You will need to show at least some proof of work that you are able to build such an item so I know you are capable of handling the job. Please note I will pay by what ever your rates are but will pay you once its complete. I don't expect full ownership of it, you may sell it on MP for yourself if you please.   10. Hello I am working on making avatars and would like to add some animation functionality to them. For example, I'm trying to create a head with a movable jaw, controlled by a slider that goes from closed to fully open. The head is rigged to the bento bones, so what I'm trying to find out is if it is possible to control an animation in-world, frame by frame, or if I would have to cut the animation into individual animations for each frame, toggling between several animations along the slider to open and close the mouth (The latter option seeming quite wasteful). Secondly, I am slightly perplexed by what LSL functions would allow me to create such a slider in the first place, so any advice in a more right direction would be much appreciated. I'm guessing it would be something along the lines of llDetectedTouchUV, but I would rather ask for help before trying to re-invent the wheel!
  11. I've run into a very frustrating problem. I had used a deform animation given to me by my friend as a joke and it glitched my bento ears so they no longer position correctly. Resetting everything, scripts, skeletons, etc, and relogging has not fixed them. I am not using the wrong kind, they are the low far apart version and I double checked. I didn't expect this to happen and did not have a copy of the ears, I also don't want to just keep making copies whenever I mess up. There has to be a solution to this. They are meant to be on the sides of my head and worked perfectly for a long time until this incident. They are sweet thing neko bento ears. Please help me find a solution to fix this. Images of how they looked when positioned properly and how they are glitched (sticking up strangely) added.
  12. Hey yall, Im having what may be an issue with testing a bento animation/pose im working on. It seems to test fine at first, then it reverts the hand position to the default. not sure what is going on. Im new to the bento world, but not the animation world lol. Any help in the right direction would be great. Ive never had an issue before with the testing before the upload *shrug* Making it with blender avastar. Hello, From time to time I see that my avatar gets kind of deformed like on this pic: https://gyazo.com/b11880bcb58645b7e0b6b4233d156223 Relogging helps but after I teleport to another place it sometimes comes back (sometimes not - I know, it's weird). I use Maitreya Body and Catwa Head I wonder why it happens and if there is any solution to this.
  14. Seemingly out of nowhere, I started to have a problem with my Catwa head becoming deformed. I noticed my eye and eyebrow were skewed on December 25. The day before, I had a bento pet and a Grinch attached to my shoulder. I went to Catwa Friends group, and they suggested the issue might be that one of these had left a hidden animation behind. They offered me numerous suggestions, and I have tried all of them and more. To date, this is what I have done: Right clicked on my avatar and chose reset and then reset/skeleton and animations Gone to Avatar, Avatar Health and chosen everything in the menu at least once (stop avatar animations. revoke permissions, undeform avatar, force appearance update Taken the avatar back to the default female avatar and added everything fresh Had a new head and animation hud delivered, and worn those Added a different shape Added a new body Taken body parts off one by one, and checked to see if any made a difference. No one body part seemed to make a difference Gone to developer menu and looked to see what was running. There is an animation running in my left eye, but I do not know what to do to stop it. Stopped all active gestures. When i search active in inventory, there are no active gestures. This has happened with both Catya and Lona heads, Maitreya body, new out of the box, and different shapes. I know you see earrings in this pic, but I have taken off everything and started fresh, several times. When I redo everything, the face will look ok initially, but it will deform again after a time, or if I relog. I have never had anything like this happen before, and have done everything I can think of to fix it. So, I would love it if someone could help me with this.
  15. Hello, maybe one of you clever minds can help me with the following problem. I am working on a ring for Maitreya hands. In Blender 3D, I rigged the ring to the mHandMiddle2Right bone in the following way: Position and rescale the ring so it is located at/ around the bone mHandMiddle2Right Apply Rotation & Scale (CTRL+A) to the ring Select the ring and the armature and Set Parent to Armature - Deform With Empty Groups (CTRL+P) Switch the armature to Pose Mode (CTRL + TAB) and select mHandMiddle2Right Switch the ring to Weight Paint Mode (CTRL + TAB) and paint the ring with a weight of 1 (all red), all other groups are empty (zero weight) Rotating mHandMiddle2Right in Blender makes the ring follow perfectly Export the ring as Collada (.dae), selecting SL + OpenSim Rigged option In SL, I only have 1 attachment point per hand - mHandRing1Left or mHandRing1Right. I attach the ring to mHandRing1Right and manually move it to the position of mHandMiddle2Right. However, now the ring follows only mHandRing1Right, just as if the assigned weights of mHandMiddle2Right were overwritten. How can I make it follow mHandMiddle2Right instead?
  16. hi, looking for a bento maker to make a bento naga tail, it should have 2-3 simple stands 1-2 walks, a run or 2.. a jump, and plenty of ground sit options ,it should also be mod so that people can get creative and control the materials effects easy without an VERY un needed texture hud .. im thinking you should make this and list it and that i shouldn't have to pay extra for GIVING you this great idea .. but if you want me to pay you i can, under conditions that this tail would be mine to resell and not yours to hand out or sell.. but again im more then happy to just be the muse , there is a demand for this and as of now no great options are out there.. the 2 top pics have pretty big pitfalls and arnt bento anyway .. would be great is the upper part of the tail was on ONE left or right upper leg bone and then the rest use bento tail bones.. im thinking this might make it work with some standing poses that people already have in their ao .. i don't know.. maybe that last part is totally wrong, just an idea please send me and IM or NC in world, look fwd to hearing from you
  17. Hello everyone! I use Maya 2016 and tried both the bento skeletons found here and here. Though the animation plays, it forces the arm to move to the position of the shoulder. Earlier when I made an animation that moved the fingers, when i uploaded it it forced the fingers to move to the position of the wrist. It seems that my animations force the rotating joint to move to its previous joint in hierarchy! I have Maya working in meters, I have the up axis as Y, as suggested in the BVH exporter text instructions. What am I doing wrong? Any help appreciated! P.S: I uploaded the animation on megafile if that helps: http://www.megafileupload.com/1qj1o/test1.bvh EDIT : I tried with the SL skeleton before the bento bones and everything worked right. What is going on ? EDIT #2 : The Exporter found here http://circle.twu.net/progs/ in version 1.5 worked for me. I had been using 1.6 and it kept giving me that error I updated the title of the thread as well in case someone else needs to find that.
  18. Hello, I am having issues with the Sophie Bento head. The skin is matching perfectly but there is a feathering around the neck where the head meets the body. it is NOT the skin issue its the head size issue. I have head set at 0 and have tried all the different sizes. I have a maitreya body. Can anyone help me? Also the teeth wont change for the head. It stays at Vamp and wont go to normal teeth. Thank you
  19. I made a mesh head, and want to use the Bento skeleton. I use Blender but do not use Avastar and have never had a problem rigging with the normal skeleton. My problem is that I parent the mesh to the bento skeleton and export, as I normally do, but when I upload to SL, under the Upload options tab, the boxes for "Include skin weight" and "Include joint positions" are not available to be checked. So if I upload the mesh is just a mesh, without a skeleton. I usually just parent the mesh to the skeleton, export, and upload. But that doesn't seem to be working and I do not know what I'm doing wrong. Every other tutorial is for Avastar, and I'm sorry, but I do not want to spend the money. (I did purchase it before it was a subscription and ended up doing the weights myself anyway.) So I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

  22. Hi I have managed a perfect fit between my Belleza Venus body and my Catwa bento head. However, there is a distinct line. I cannot change it with changing colour! Let me explain, in the front the bento head is paler than the body, but from behind, the body is paler than the head! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks
  23. I am looking for an animator to create a few full permission eating and drinking poses for second life. Possibly with different bento hand poses that allow something as small as a french fry to fit in between fingers or something as large as burger. I would prefer the animations to be fluid as oppose to stiff. If interested please respond at your earliest convenience.
  24. Hello, I just purchased the SKING Katena body to go with my Catya mesh head but I seem to be having a bit of an issue with getting the skin tones of the neck and body to match up. I reached out to SKING support and they mentioned that using the tint slider on the head would work but I've had no luck. Has anyone had any luck with fixing this issue?
