  1. Hi all! First of all I apologize if this is not the place where i should ask this question. My query is the following one and it is directed mainly to the girls or to those people who know about the subject. I am interested in acquiring intimate (feminine) parts within SL although I am quite confused about the brands, the qualities of each one and its operation. I'm looking for something quite realistic because my avatar is like that.I am wearing a Maitreya body I was state visiting certain stores like Xcite! And Vaw but I'm still pretty confused. Especially because I just went to the Xcite store, i has heard good reviews to other people , and now I'm not sure if it will get an update of the private parts for women soon. My query is the following, according to your experience. Which brands lead the market and offer a better quality and realism? Thank you

  3. Hello! I'm trying to rig a bento hand for avatar, but every time unsuccessfully. Can someone give a link to a good non - Avastar tutorial or explain in your own words what I'm doing wrong? here is the process i use: -- downloaded bento workbench from this site. -- opened in a blender. -- I create an object (hand). -- I place the object and the skeleton on one layer. -- I select object, then a skeleton. -- I hit control + P. -- I choose the Armature deform -- With automatic weights. -- I check if it works in a Pose Mode. -- I export in a collada format with object and skeleton both selected. -- These are the settings I set when exporting. -- When uploading a model, this is the screen (weights and joints are not displayed). that's all. I do not use Avastar, because I am not familiar with it. can this be done without it? what am I doing wrong? With a regular skeleton rig, everything works out perfectly, the process is the same. How is bento different from normal besides more bones? And do i need to delete unused bones? Please, help!

  6. I'm just curious - what have you come across inworld that you have found interesting, funny even? Anything really, including avatars. Mine so far: 1. I often see this fox av who would probably qualify as a griefer and is often at this public sandbox dressed as a bride with a complexity level over 400k. This fox bride hangs around asking everyone for their hand in marriage, and sometimes asks them to buy her a new L$1500 wedding dress. Creepy. 2. I see this dog av who busks at shopping events a lot - kinda small and kinda cute, and... 3. One time I walked over a rug that greeted me with "hey beautiful" and it turned out to be an actual avatar who planted himself on the floor of a store, greeting ladies as they pass by. Also creepy. How about you?

  9. Hello! In the Open Sim in one of the landing points (Lani Mall) there is a kind of path that pushes the avatar forward. You don't even have to move or go, it delivers you to the mall. a kind of "horizontal escalator". How is this done? using a script? and how to repeat this effect?
  10. Hello! I want to create a teleport effect script. you know such an attached particle emitter is triggered when you teleport the avatar to a new place. I do not know from what event to start it. is it also possible to make it not work when simcrossing?

  17. Are there any talented individuals one or professinal services that provide paid help with making a high quality avatar look? I have one i created that i love but am bored of the look and haven't been able to make anything else I really love. I'd like to pay a talented person to help me create another beautiful high quality head/face/skin combo. I've tried numerous shapes they sell on the MP and in world but those never look as advertised to me. I prefer to use lelutka unless there's a way past a certain look with catwa that i dont find appealing. Please reach out if you can help :) Thank you
  18. Hello. I apparently have a IQ less than 6 and don't really understand these instructions that came with my mesh. It was about applying textures on a shell mesh (the "clothing mesh" or something like that). It read: " ::Applying textures on the Body Shell(s) (the clothing layer):: 11.) Select the chest of the Body Shell for select the top group of faces. 12.) Locate the upper cloth texture you will use, and drag it to the Texture box of the Edit Tool window. 13.) Repeat steps 6 and 7, but select the forearms instead, and the same for the hands. 14.) Select the leg of the Body Shell for select the top group of faces. 15.) Locate the lower cloth texture you will use, and drag it to the Texture box of the Edit Tool window. You have two shells for apply two different layers of clothing." So I did what the instructions said and when I applied the textures on the chest of the mesh, it came out wrong (I checked the "select face" option). I tried looking up how to texture meshes and all that came up was about mesh clothing and not avatars ☹️. I don't understand clothing layers or applying clothing textures to meshes or what a shell is its all so confusing and literally no where on google explains this stuff. The mesh is a Anthro Anim mesh if that helps, out of all meshes I've seen, his are the only ones I know where a 'shell" exist.
  19. I have a standard dolphin mesh i'd like rigged for in world use as an avatar, but I myself can't really grasp weighting a mesh. No slider bones are necessary, neither are facial bones other than the jaw and, optionally the eyes. $100 USD via Paypal upon completion and 50% of all sales profit will be split, I care more about getting this done than actually earning anything from it. I'm an animator myself, so i'd be able to animate the avatar's AO but my main obstacle is weighting the mesh to the SL skeleton.   20. Why are more and more clothing designers boycotting TMP? There seems to be a hate on for them growing...... I have a TMP mesh body -- should I start looking for a new one from someone else; will I be stranded with no choice of clothes?
  21. I'd like to rebuild my old avatar but I'm not sure about types and names of body,, skin, head, hairs ect. I am looking for help from someone experienced.   22. I reactivated an avatar that I had cancelled several years ago. I signed on and my avatar remains in a "cloud-like" state. I am not sure what to do to get my avatar to rez. I even tried clearing the cache and changing outfits, shapes, etc. and that doesn't work. Any suggestions?
  23. Logged in - all seemed normal - went to another screen for a couple of minutes and when I turned back again, my avi was - from head to toe - 'the boy next door'. Literally. Definitely a moment of surprise. Went to the 'now wearing' tab and discovered every part of me that was my avi (shape, bento everything, clothing, hair, eyes - the lot) had been replaced with a boy next door beginner's avi; the only thing of mine that remained was the AO, which - believe me - really doesn't suit a 'boy next door' type at all. Anyone know what caused this? (no, I've not been drinking). It's occurred once before, though - but a long time ago.
  24. Hello! For many, many years I am to today still enjoying the many interesting things Second Life can bring us. One of which is travelling through the many places that allow you to travel with vehicles. Driving, flying, sailing, swimming, surfing, cycling... you name it, you possibly have done it as well! In the beginning, vehicles were rather limited to capabilities, throughout the years a lot has changed, textured vehicles became sculpted, sculpted vehicles evaluated to mesh-made content. Not only did the way of vehicles and how they were/are made change, as well as what they can do. From simplistic WASD/Arrow key control to complex simulative controls. But... Something is missing! I'm sure that I can't be the only one whom may agree or disagree with how some things still are in the current state of Second Life, yet right now I'm talking about Mouselook camera. Or in gamer-talk, the first person perspective. With in greater detailing, the positioning of this. How come this never was an adjustable feature? For many years I tried to figure out why the mouselook camera is always off-set to the left eye, and ''mounted'' on the forehead as if it is a ''Go-Pro'' camera. I've had this discussion with several friends whom I've travelled SL with for many times, but no-one really had an idea. We tried to see if this could be affected with scripts but no luck on that font. Thus here is the boiling question: Can we have the ability to adjust the mouselook camera position, rotation and be able to alter this? With this in mind I've personally already had made a little list of ideas of how and where this may be able to be set. Since avatars have their own shapes and complex style of bone-structure. My suggestion was to implement this feature under the shape-edit configuration. With the idea behind it that people whom create, say, animal avatars or avatars that have a different camera position than a say 'humanoid' avatar, they could create custom mouselook-camera positions bound to that shape. Benefits of this summed up: Ability to customize mouselook-camera to shape Allowing content creators to fix complex shapes for non-humanoid shapes Allowing camera position to change to desired location. (for those that love driving in mouselook, but just can't see those indicator lights ;P) Giving more personalization to your own experiences. Possibility to grow and allow more research in to VR*. * - As VR is an uncertain 'road' whilst I'm writing this, I do not know where or how far the technology goes within Second Life to the ability of VR. Please keep in mind that this may or may-not be WIP. To round it up. With this idea, that I've been wandering around SL for, I've been eager to hear everyone's opinions about. Suggestions to this or perhaps people like to add anything to it. Maybe i missed something or if you've been wanting the same. Please don't hesitate to comment. To the Lindens. I am not that much of a tech-person, so knowing that this may or may not be very complex to implement in to Second Life is beyond me. Of course I would love to be able to get a reply.
