  1. LANDSCAPING WITH LUNA EARTH DAY CELEBRATION I hope you can join us Monday (Earth Day) @ Noon, where we will have our 2nd Landscaping With Luna meeting. We were dancing and experiencing the Ocean conference @ the 1st meeting with little time to introduce ourselves and chat. So Monday @ noon we can introduce ourselves after listening to a few Earth Day songs that honor Mother Earth. Then we can discuss our landscaping projects if you currently have one or have a plan in mind. We've been focusing on garden entrances on Discord. I'd also like to hear what you want to focus on in the group so we can plan for future meetings. Join the Discord channel if you're not there already in order to view what's been happening so far. I have some designing tips posted and you can ask particular questions about your project so we can all chime in and offer advice. HAPPY EARTH DAY! Monday, April 22, Noon http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Satori/105/89/48 DISCORD: https://discord.gg/J344jBjt

  3. As visitors approach the Gate, they are immediately struck by the presence of Inari. The vibrant red color of the gate is said to represent Inari's divine power and energy. 'The dark city' radio (curated by myself) is a key element of this installation, providing a constant soundtrack to the experience. But the Gate art installation is not just a visual and auditory experience, it is also a social one. The installation hosts DJ events, where people can come together and dance or you can find some meditative rest and indulge yourself into it's endless atmosphere. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/The Globalconnection/46/198/3001 - ʟɪᴍɪᴛᴇᴅ ᴇɴᴛʀʏ 25 ᴏɴʟʏ ꜰᴏʀɢᴏᴛᴛᴇɴ ᴄɪᴠɪʟɪᴢᴀᴛɪᴏɴꜱ. ᴅɪʀᴛʏ ᴛᴀᴘᴇ ʀᴇᴇʟꜱ, ᴀɴᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ ᴇʟᴇᴄᴛʀᴏɴɪᴄꜱ, ᴛʜʀᴏʙʙɪɴɢ ᴘᴜʟꜱᴇꜱ ᴀɴᴅ ᴍᴀꜱꜱɪᴠᴇ ʀᴇᴠᴇʀʙꜱ ᴄᴏᴍʙɪɴᴇ ꜰᴏʀ ᴀɴ ᴇɴᴠɪʀᴏɴᴍᴇɴᴛᴀʟ ꜱᴏᴜɴᴅꜱᴄᴀᴘᴇ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴡɪʟʟ ᴅʀᴀɢ ʏᴏᴜ ᴅᴏᴡɴ ɪɴᴛᴏ ɪᴛꜱ ᴅᴇᴘᴛʜꜱ.

  7. Whole Brain Health (https://secondlife.com/destination/whole-brain-health) on the region of Inspiration Bay is contributing to the VWBPE conference in March (Virtual Worlds Best Practices In Education - https://www.vwbpe.org/). ♥ 9am on March 9th http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Inspiration Bay/91/96/1 My presentation that follows (also the kick-off meeting for my new Landscaping With Luna class) begins @ 9:30: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Inspiration Bay/159/107/1 MOTHER OCEAN Welcome If you sit on one of the circles on the ground we can glide through the water together like graceful sea creatures as we contemplate the beauty of Mother Ocean. I'm so glad you could be here at Whole Brain Health's immersive contribution to the VWBPE (Virtual Worlds Best Practices in Education). The goal of VWBPE is to demonstrate how immersive virtual environments can enhance learning, and the theme this year is Mythic Origins. I'm Luna Bliss, and the creator of much of the vast undersea environment surrounding us today. I began my journey in Second Life nearly 20 years ago and immediately developed a love for landscape art, creating nature scenes for the residents of Second life. For me landscape art has been a method to increase a greater sense of appreciation and wonder, and to enable others to love nature as well. This love of nature, a gratitude for nature beyond its commodification for human use, is the missing link to the protection of our environment that is sorely needed today. When we love something, truly attempt to know it apart from what we need from it, we are better able to see what it needs to thrive. And what we love we tend to protect. Thinking only, or mostly, of what humans need from nature creates an imbalance in our relationship to the Earth, and is cause for much destruction. Human beings became out of balance, viewing themselves as big and nature as small and separate from humans, and the desire to control nature for their own purposes became paramount. In this separation they gave what they saw as "other" the name of 'nature'. But we are entwined, and we separate ourselves at our own peril as we try to conquer and exert too much control over nature. And so-called 'nature' got along fine before we attempted to conquer and name it. And if we're not careful it will continue getting along fine without us. We need to develop an astonishment for nature in and of itself, and not just for what it gives us. But how do we increase love of the environment so that nature becomes more than what sustains us as humans -- even beyond the aesthetic appreciation nature bestows on us? How do we return to our Mythic Origins where nature was alive with consciousness and our connection was felt? "Sustainability" is such a dry, academic catchword that doesn't reach what is needed, and still paints human needs as central -- what is needed instead is the love that comes from paying attention to what lies beyond humans. My favorite landscapes depict the smallness of the human body against an enormous mountain, or a vast ocean. These images position humans in the right relationship to the Earth. We can also inhabit this wonder in the tiniest bit of nature -- to "see eternity in 'a blade of grass". As I took a break from this writing and drifted into a dream I saw a sparking piece of jewelry with the crystal it contained. The light as it danced upon the rock surface, the intricate design and pleasing shape, the beautiful colors. We are small indeed in the face of all the elements that created us, we humans, and that creates all forms of life -- Astonishing water!! Astonishing earth!! Astonishing fire!! Astonishing Air!! What can we do if wonder is too often absent from our lives, and so we take for granted our home that sustains us? What causes us to experience the gratitude and wonder of anything? What might enable us to see it more fully, to know it, to delight in it -- to have the sense of wonder in a child's eyes? What might help us develop mindfulness or the "beginner's mind" where we are astonished again, and the world around us is fresh and new? How can we 'know nature' more and 'control nature' less? Wonder is a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable. As Rachel Carson said, “Most of us walk unseeing through the world, unaware alike of its beauties, its wonders, and the strange and sometimes terrible intensity of the lives that are being lived about us.” To cultivate wonder we first and foremost need to pay attention. Mary Oliver wrote, “the soul exists and is built entirely out of attentiveness.” The attentiveness or mindfulness so crucial in creating art can help us develop a deeper love for nature - to feel astonished again. Creativity is stimulated by curiosity -- ask questions, explore new topics, learn new skills, and challenge assumptions. Curiosity opens your mind to new possibilities and perspectives, and helps you discover new connections and patterns. So don your mermaid outfit or fish avatar and swim through the water, twirling and diving, relishing the weightlessness. Remember how your skin felt as water swirled around you, swimming through your favorite pool or pond. Close your eyes and remember what you love about the sea. Is it the waves glistening in the sunlight as they meet the shore with its rhythmic watery heartbeat? Is it the unusual life forms you encounter when diving deep under the water, so different from familiar land forms? Is it the amazing colors drawing you in to the vibrant beauty? Meditation and chanting are two particularly useful tools in the enhancement of creativity -- they enable us to see reality with fresh eyes. Meditation and chanting free us from the 'thinking mind' and its 'stuck patterns' or preconceptions and allows us to exist in the present moment where all creativity resides. Often when I begin a garden I first listen to beautiful music, and once I feel this love manifesting I know the time is ready to begin creating. When creating a specific type of environment, like an undersea garden, listening to music written by others who love the sea is beneficial. Likewise reading poems written by sea-lovers or studying the life forms in the ocean via books or video can help. I especially love undersea environments because the ocean is symbolic for the soul, the subconscious mind, our emotions, as well as our boundless nature. Knowing the ocean helps us know the essence of the depth of the human soul -- the more we allow ourselves to explore the hidden parts that we have been afraid to uncover, the more we can experience the vastness of who we are. I'm not sure I've come across anyone who loved the sea as much as Rachel Carson. Three great books of hers to read are named Under The Sea Wind,The Sea Around Us and The Edge Of The Sea. Nearby is the Ocean Learning Room where Sunny has compiled songs and poems about the sea, information about the sea creatures that inhabit it, as well as books and other resources. In my group Landscaping With Luna we learn how to become landscape artists. We will develop our love of nature and make this love the central basis of all our designs. We will be delighting in poems, songs, and videos demonstrating the beauty of nature to further increase our experience and love of nature, as well as learning basic principles of design. Our initial focus will be on garden entrances. The entrance to a garden is the inviting focal point that lures us to go deeper. It beckons, it speaks, it says "enter in to this new experience -- this mysterious space beyond the doorway". I hope you'll be inspired to tell your story through landscape art, to use form and color to attract all who views your entrance to enter inside. Mary Oliver wrote: "Instructions for living a life: Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” I'm hoping we can do just that by paying close attention to the ocean and celebrating its wonder. At this conference we began to know nature better by considering the myths so central to our experience of the world, presented by Tooyaa @ The Hero's Walk. I hope we can begin to better understand the value in knowing nature, and how nature art assists this endeavor, through my presentation now. Shyla will further enhance our knowledge and love of the sea through her poetry event beginning soon. And be sure and check out beautiful music and poetry about the sea that touches our soul, compiled by Sunny in the Learning Cave next to where I'm standing. But now, let's appreciate nature with a bit of dancing and music. If you did not already grab one of the circles on the ground do so now and crank up your land music while we swim through the beautiful sea. Thank you to Shambala Celestia from the region of Satori for the dances. You are welcome to join us once at Satori each month as we don our undersea apparel (I'm usually some sort of fish) and celebrate the life-giving properties of our watery home. To receive a copy of today's presentation, information about nature art classes, and information about the Whole Brain Health project located here @ Inspiration Bay touch the sign beside me. Information about water celebrations such as this one is also there. Shyla's presentation on poetry and love of the sea will take place after the dance completes in 15 minutes or so. 8. WHO: Lilith and Samael of Zamargad are inviting everyone in SL to participate in a region-wide photo contest. WHAT: Zamargad region-wide photo contest... • 1st place = L$10k, 2nd place = L$5k, 3rd place = L$1k, every Honorable Mention = L$500 (unlimited and at our discretion). • Take as many photos as you like and submit as many photos as you like, here in this thread... Please try to limit your submissions to one post daily (cram as many photos as you like in a post, while not abusing the spam clause of the SL forum rules). • IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING ANY ADULT-THEMED PIX, PLEASE DO NOT POST THEM HERE, PLEASE LOOK FOR OUR SISTER THREAD IN THE ADULT SECTION OF THE FORUMS, INSTEAD, THANK YOU!!! • Zamargad is a fantasy-themed Moderate region. Adult participation is neither encouraged nor discouraged: do as ye will, harm none. • Anything goes... We are looking for pix of scenery, artistic statements (show us how clever you are!), fun, fashion (if you are wearing or rezzing anything from Pixie Ruby's NeverWish, please state so ...I also intended to include some things from her in a blog post I wanted to write, entitled, "A Diamond Cut Zamargad" [see also "WHY" section] but unintentionally dropped the ball), any other ideas you have are all acceptable. You may use yourself as the focus or perhaps a picture of you and your friends having fun. You may also join the private land group (see also "HOW" section) to temporarily rez props (green screens, stuff like that ... possibly chairs and such, but remember that your main objective is to try to show Zamargad as it is), fly, or participate in our other region activities while getting photography ideas (i.e., during this contest, we will be having our LGH kingdom open house and welcome pictures of participation in that as well ... Suggestion: submit a pic of yourself while participating in a Cyber Law day while enjoying fishing at one of our buoys and submit it here). WHERE: Photos are to be taken from anywhere in the region of Zamargad. This includes the land, store skybox areas, platforms, the sea, the sky, anything goes... The only things off-limits are our skyboxes on the 1181 Cheshire Smile parcel (as I already have pix of them, featured in my own blog posts). WHEN: Starting now until ~1 month from now (12JAN24 - 12FEB24 until 23:59 SLT). Judging will take as much time as necessary RE: RL, but will not exceed 1 week. Winners will be mentioned in a final post on this thread by me. WHY: For fun. For memories. Consider your participation a part of a scrapbook. Zamargad has been our baby and art project since 2016. It's been recently redecorated with help from ϮTHE UNTOUCHABLE ONEϮ (diamond Kraditzio), who I found thru her daughter, Ϯ LIL LIZZY-ROO KRADITZIO Ϯ (KumaguroBunnyBear). I was revisiting Treasure Quest after many years and noticed how pretty her land was, and the rest just seemed to fall into place. I fully intended to do a blog post on Zamargad's revamp entitled "A Diamond Cut Zamargad" but as real life has gotten too chaotic, too much time has passed now, and I wish to make this right with the aid of your talent and help. BTW, please do not worry if you think your pictures won't be fancy (or whatever) enough, sometimes efforts that come from the heart are simply the best. HOW: Please make sure you have checked the "WHAT" section and then continue reading this section. • You may opt to post links where your picture is hosted, instead (such as Gyazo or your blog, etc.). However, if your hosting company takes them offline or we cannot access them before the deadline, you may not be able to be considered for this contest ...Alternatively, you may both upload your picture here and also submit any additional pertaining links in the same post, if you prefer... Basically, whatever you want to do is all good, we just need everything in one spot to keep track (this thread or our sister thread in the Adult section), so we can accurately pass out prize L$s and a good time can be had by all. ***Please note that in an effort to not break the SL forums, super risque pix from the Adult thread are invited to be posted in our private LGH kingdom Discord. If you also wish to join as a guest (you do not necessarily have to join our LGH kingdom), and are not offended by such, you are welcome to by simply Discording me at "MajikVixen."*** • Use whatever viewer your heart desires (such as SL, FS, Black Dragon, etc.), whatever photography/art programs you enjoy most (such as Photoshop, GIMP, etc.), or simply submit raw photos. Suggestion: you may put whatever watermark/signature/caption you need on your work, so long as it's not too disruptive to the idea you are trying to communicate. • To ask for a land group invite, you may IM MajikVixen Lorefield (or Discord "MajikVixen"), Mysteriously Addicted Resident, JonCernunnos Resident, or Jenni Witherspoon. We (Lilith and Samael) get offlines but are dealing with RL in-between, Jenni is online a lot (and is underpaid, LOL). Always be patient, respectful, and kind. Land group invites are at our discretion and convenience. Greeters will trigger instructions for certain areas or events, please don't ignore them or what they have to say. If you become a part of the land group, you may wish to read the covenant to familiarize yourself with the guidelines, but there are only 2 main things: 1) Please do not rez anything over 50 prims (if you are unsure, TAKE IT TO A SANDBOX FIRST TO TEST IT). And 2) please take it with you when your avatar leaves the land (you can always take build notes to come back and do it again later). ...We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for anyone who is invited to our land group and then abuses these very simple requests (you will be subject to a group ban as well as an estate ban and disqualified from this contest, no exceptions). • Have fun! Be yourself! Let your true colors shine! We look forward to seeing what you come up with!

  10. I know some people dislike women with small breasts, but we're out here. Second life has a hug abundance of large breasted women, should be able to appreciate women with smaller boobs sometimes, right? Legacy is a beautiful body and just want to see some appreciation for it. • What's Legacy? Well, legacy is an adult mesh body from TheMeshShop. It's not too big it can get pretty petite and look proportionate at lower heights, for those more interested in realistic height and sizes. Example, in the photo I will post, I am 5'2", global average height is 5'3" in females. I gave her a short torso, long limbs, to give her an average African female look. I gave her a fantasy look with Prim head, making the head more doll like and she sports Bunny ears and tail. Legacy body does petite shapes very well, even the special edition body. • What's Legacy Petite? ~ Legacy petite is Legacy Perky with +Perky Petite add on. It comes with the Legacy perky, as a gift. It's a niche add-on, due to lack of advertisement and word of mouth, not many knew of it even though it's been around for quite some time. So, was wondering if people actually wear it and what shape and style you wear/have! It gives an even more petite look and feel tot he body, average breast size globally is A cups to B-cups, so I like how they are, like Maitreya, trying to represent women with smaller breasts even if larger breasts are the word in Second life. 18+ please, This doesn't mean show nsfw photos. As you can see, I've done a Rectangular shape. She still has curves but not as deep, like Rectangular feminine bodies should, to give her the more athletic look. Gave her lots of definition to the body, with albinism in the hair and eyes. She looks taller, due to a short torso, giving her longer legs.

  14. Today we’re shining a spotlight on GBTH, which stands for Grab by the Horns, an art incubator in Second Life celebrating its 6th anniversary this week. Learn more about GBTH from the founder, Marina Munter. GBTH Workshop - photo by Soyoy How long have you been in Second Life and how did you first hear about it? I joined Second Life back in 2012 and recently celebrated my 11th rezday on September 1st! Back in 2008, I read about the art world in Second Life in Wolf Lieser’s Digital Artbook that I found around my mother’s library. Artists like Gazira Babeli and Eva + Franco Mattes were mentioned for the work they developed inworld back in the day. Sadly at the time I didn’t have full-time access to the internet and I was also underage, so I waited until the stars aligned to finally create an account! NON-PERISHABLE by Marina Münter You are the founder and owner of GBTH, an art incubator in Second Life. Can you tell us more about it, when you started it, and what inspired you to do it? Was there a specific gap or need in the art community that you wanted to address? The GBTH is an independent art incubator here in Second Life. It has its own region and hosts simultaneously 12+ exhibitions in diverse formats; individual and collective, full environments, and 2D. I started it back on October 17th, 2017 right after I had my first exhibition inworld, called Non-Perishable. It consisted of five monochromatic shipping containers filled with objects of the same color, assembled in a port-like environment built specifically for this exhibit. The dynamics of putting that body of work together made me fall in love deeply with Second Life as a creative platform and even before that exhibition opened I had a gazillion ideas for future projects popping into my head. In real life, I had been gathering experience working as an assistant and mediator in a few exhibitions and projects, as well as an academic kickstart with a junior scholarship through the Fine Arts School in the Federal University of Bahia and joined my first collective real-life exhibit at the age of 15. Here in Brazil, we say “joining the hunger and the desire to eat”, and I think that is exactly what happened. With GBTH I wanted to offer more than just an allocated space and a timeframe - we offer the support, guidance, and management to ensure their idea is coming through and that the exhibition will be completed in satisfactory ways for all parties involved. For us, there isn’t a distinction between art made in Second Life and art made in the physical world, in regards to the work itself - it is all art. DECOIFFE by Vincent Priesley - Photo by BadUnicorn The art incubator is a concept that might be new to some readers. Can you provide a brief overview of what exactly is an art incubator, and how does it differ from traditional art museums or galleries? In simple words, an art incubator focuses on the process of assisting the artist in putting together a body of work, whereas a gallery focuses mostly on sales and a museum, on preservation and display. The way I wanted to see the GBTH functioning was to be more active than a mere space where artists would come and just rez their work - I wanted an actual exchange and mutual learning. VESSELS by Rob Danton What challenges have you faced in launching and running GBTH, and how have you overcome them? I had a super old slow computer back in the day. We’re talking like building with an average of 6fps. Using Second Life has a bit of a learning curve and I feel like every day there is something new to learn. Back in the day, my resources to run GBTH were limited to how persistent and creative I could be to keep it going. From asking friends if they could donate a piece of land for the first exhibitions to asking inventory items to be borrowed for a certain project - stuff that seems so simple looking back 6 years later but that played a big part in how I’d structure the place and its values. We give an array of options on how to follow through in the process of putting together a body of work here, offering beforehand alternatives to prevent the artists we’re working with from dealing with the same issues so the conversation can move forward. Being here in Second Life was also the first time I saw myself as a foreigner since I’m Brazilian and never traveled abroad. The cultural and generational barriers were curious to overcome, so one thing we always encourage is for artists to bring their own cultural background into their work, which results in extremely rich and honest exhibitions. KLUB 15 by Keiko Clementine How can artists who want to participate get involved with GBTH, do they reach out to you? What types of artists and creative projects do you believe are particularly well-suited for incubation and support through GBTH? We’re planning on making open calls at the beginning of 2024, so artists who might be interested in working with us can join our in-world group and follow us on social media to be the first to know once that happens, how to reach out and what to send. The projects are selected based on several factors which vary from case to case, even because it depends on the format they apply to - 2D, full environments, or collective shows. It is important when applying, that the artist understands what we’re offering and what is being asked from them. Each exhibition opened is a result of at least a few weeks of work and investment from all parts involved, and we wouldn’t do it any differently because it is part of what makes it pleasurable for us. Colonia 2.0 Eupalinos Ugajin - GBTH presents Ed. Colonia 2.0 What is in the future for GBTH? Are there any upcoming events, exhibitions, or projects within GBTH that we should be on the lookout for? Right now we’re wrapping up the final details for the biggest exhibition we had so far: GBTH x Rachel Breaker EPILOGUE. It is a collective exhibition in collaboration with Rachel, and it will mark the celebrations of GBTH’s 6th anniversary. For this 5th and last round, we asked the participants to answer how they were feeling through the assemblage and texturing of a figurine. These figurines are made with a kit provided by us with meshes by Rachel Breaker. We hosted a workshop for the participants to talk about conceptual thinking and workflow development and the response was so good! I’m beyond proud and excited to share the result with the rest of the grid. GBTH x Rachel Breaker EPILOGUE opens on October 20th, 1pm SLT, with a second party at 6pm SLT for those in the USA! THE SURFACE OF MARS by Rachel Breaker Collaboration and community can be essential for artists, GBTH is also a part of the Second Life Community Gateway Program, can you tell us more about that? It is indeed, especially when we aim to burst the bubble and connect with residents who aren’t necessarily in the art field. We joined the Community Gateway Program back in 2019 and it helped us be even more aware of Second Life’s nature of being a user-based platform by not only being more “hands-on” in the process of user attraction and retention but also through the exchange with members of other CGs and getting to know more about the areas they focus in. DISTANCE by Mich Michabo As a founder in the art space, you likely have a unique perspective on the art world. Are there any artists in SL that particularly inspire you, or whose work you admire? I know it will sound cliche but every interaction I’ve had with all the few dozens of artists that passed through the GBTH was really inspiring in their own way. It is really hard to refer to names without feeling someone was left out. There are also people whom I admire and who don't exactly consider themselves artists, but that doesn't make them any less worthy of mention. To name a few: Lux Chiantelle, an artist who owned the first gallery I visited in Second Life, Suntory Time, and blew my mind with the works on display there; Vincent Priesley, whose brain I wish I could kiss for how it gifts us with the most fantastically intricate works that I’ve seen here; Jake Vordun, for his contagious authenticity, elegance, and shared passion for art and museum displays; Soy, whose creations made me feel at home when I was still not fully invested in Second Life. GBTH bot photobomb by Autumn Yap Where can people see your work and get more information about GBTH? Please share links to any sites and social media accounts. On the GBTH website they can check all the current exhibitions, interviews with artists, links, etc... We’re also on X, formerly Twitter as @GBTH_artinc on Instagram as @gbth_artincubator and on YouTube. Watch Marina on Lab Gab in March 2021, giving a tour of GBTH! Thank you, Marina, for adding your talent to the art community in Second Life and providing a platform for digital artists to express themselves! Attend the GBTH x Rachel Breaker EPILOGUE opening party on Friday, October 20th, at 1pm SLT, with a second party at 6pm SLT for those in the USA, and celebrate 6 years of GBTH with the community! 20. Bona left us in RL sometime around 2015. I didn't know him, but I appreciate the work he did building the Detroit City sim, and I really love some of his original artworks which remain on display in his gallery there. His art is still for sale in the gallery, but I have confirmed with the current sim owner that, while she maintains the gallery on the Detroit City sim, any purchases of Bona's art are paid to his (inactive) SL account. Now, I have a number of core motivators in my second life. Among them are: a) contribute to the SL economy, b) contribute to the Detroit City sim, and Linda's efforts to keep Nat's Jazz Club thriving, and c) collect quality SL art that moves me. Some of Bona's pieces move me greatly, but paying L$ into a void account at his gallery is counterproductive to my goals, so I've been holding off starting my Bona collection. But now I have too many empty walls, so... I'd like to hear from anyone with transferable pieces of Bona's art to sell. We can negotiate based on the existing gallery price, and I suggest we also agree on a percentage to (both) pay to Linda for the upkeep of Nat's Jazz Club. I know this is a long shot, but I have to try

  23. Hi, So lately I’ve been really getting into landscape photography as a hobby in RL. Have got some cool shots and looking to capture more. I‘m thinking of the idea of editing photos and trying to sell them in world as framed art for houses or whatever. Not looking to make a lot of money just sort of give my hobby and outlet and mix it with second life at the same time.. I know once I upload the photos they become Lindenlabs property or whoever least that’s how it used to be. Any feed back would be appreciated!
