    things I miss from way back    

    Yardsales    I used to love going round them    why did they stop being a thing  ?

    Cheap land 

    Most people were more friendly than thesedays  imo  

    Camping at the casios  it was how I got my L$  lol

    Things I don't miss

    Super bad Lag    in some  actully most places trying to move was impossible 

    Thursday day/eve  down time for maintainace  😬

    AD farms   those were everywhere  at onepoint 

    noobs walking around with massive apendages( sp)  asking for sex etc

    Back in the day   when I was part of a nice smallish group  that came in to SL together from a chat forum   it was nice to chat away  etc   

     

    Thesedays I don't care for it  as it  is just noise  as everyone  speaks over each other lots of cussing  and ' Attitudes '  anyhoos I prefer to stay on my latest bit of land   & decorate  it   till I get bored  and move on lol

    edit: as an aside, totally off topic, I always thought it was amazing how a huge rock band like they were at the time, the 80's, adapted to the tragedy of their drummer, he was the DRUMMER and he lost an arm. They didn't graciously let him leave his role, THEY KEPT HIM! I don't know, that has always spoken to me about how true friends and true musicians treat each other.

    I like to believe they would rather fail (as a group) then leave their friend behind. 

    I do not know what ever happened to them all, but I do know they taught me how you treat the people that helped get you where you are. The way you treat everyone, with respect.

     

    I  have loved this band from the very start (  showing my age  lol )   also Hysteria is a real life nickname   but thesedays It I am refered to by just 'H'       They are still around  touring   producing new music   etc

    How to find ' invisible ' prims/objects

    Hello lovely forum folks    it has been awhile since I have taken a real intrest in SL   but the sl bug has caught me again    bits are slowly resurfing in my brain except one thing    I remember there being a way of finding invisible prims/objects   on your land  I have forgotten how to do this as it has been a good few years  since playing      Could one of you kindly remind  me how to this

    Hi thanks for the replies :)  I actully own the land I pay teir  every month To LL   , , I Have IM'd the person to let him know , Not sure how he managed to rez anything tho as I already have my settings set so that only myself and those in my group can rez stuff , , as i said have IM'd the guy and asked him to move , i will give him a few days to this ( am not a total git lol )
