  1. In my opinion, in True Blood, the most interesting is, without any doubt, Eric Northman. His guile is as great as his sense of humor. He is pragmatic and knows how to take quick and wise decisions. He is a leader and if he was not unfailingly loyal he would have taken the head of the vampire society since a long time.
  2. I would like an evolution of the blood scanner to make it a more useful global clan stat reporting and management item. Here are a couple of the features that I have in mind : - Listing of the names of souls released in the abyss by destroyed clan members. - Listing of the names of minions that haven't their souls owned by a clan member.

If you think that people over 21yo have no imagination, no desire to have some fantasy, never say "In his place I would have done this and this to avoid such a bad situation" when they see a movie or read a book, doesn't like to listen, tell, live stories that take them away from their everyday life, then, actually, you can't imagine them playing vampires or other strange characters. I don't know why you think you know what I think. Talking about "very poor reading comprehension", I'm not an english native speaker, so maybe my teachers were wrong when they told me that a sentence beginning with "If" is not an assertion. Pamela Galli wrote: I just can't imagine anyone over, say, 21 on the outside, playing Vampire. Is this something that adults really do? Then you will certainly explain what change, according to you, during the last night of anyone's twenty-first year prevents to play a vampire anymore.
  4. Yep, I do believe that, often, you don't catch the meaning of what you hear. Some people tend to focus on criticizing the form when they are too thick to understand the content. Lib (Mesquin du Monde) :smileyvery-happy: When your head bangs on a jar and that it sounds hollow, maybe it is not the jar which is empty.
  5. Blood is the source of the curse and the power of a vampire. He feeds himself with blood, plays with blood, gets his power with blood. It doesn't seem difficult for him to manipulate his own blood pressure to have sex. Attractiveness and sensuality are some basis of the vampire influence on others. The vampire seduces, charms and embrace. He actually needs that to bite, bleed and condemn someone to a cursed undeath without being spotted by the mortal law enforcement. But it's more instinctive than willingly. It's deprived of twisted mind constructs as feelings, so there's no love, fidelity, monogamy, jaleousy. There are a few vampires from the dark ages, turned before the inquisition and the masquerade, who still hunt as brainless beasts, they like to taste the fear in their preys' blood, to bite in the most painful way and are sending many souls in limbos. But these ones are exceptions disapproved and hunted by the modern vampire community. Vampirism can't be restrained to eroticism, but as desire and sex are leading the big part of the life, they are leading the big part of the death too.
  6. As life is a strange nonsense, undeath gives logic to what you do. Most of the mortals want to change the world but they lack the time to do it. When the Death takes them, what they did is nothing. Vampires have years to move a pawn on the chessboard. Listen to their heart, it's not beating anymore. Vampires are freed of the feelings and inhibitions. No barriers to prevent them from satisfying their needs and desires. The memory do is work, meaningless and oldest events are fading away. New challenges are always rising up, research, powerful enemies, political games, changing human society, new mysteries. The ones who were bored in life can be bored in undeath, but for most of the others it's a chance to learn more and more, to get wiser, to increase their powers. And there's always a way out, sunlight, fire, lycan claws...
  7. As I said in a similar thread, I like Khayman from Vampire Chronicles or maybe David, one of the Lost Boys.

  9. Imagination, that's the word.
  10. Think twice, check your credit, be polite and respectful, read, listen, don't believe, figure out, check your credit, think again. :matte-motes-sunglasses-2:
  11. I need to point that THE FALLEN ONES clan recently created by Coyote1 have nothing to do and no tie with the FALLEN ONES horde that I had the honor to lead for more than one year until merging with ADETERNUM DARK REALMS horde at the end of summer. Lib
  12. Vampires are unnatural undeads, lycans are natural life stenghs. Vampires are feelingless, lycans are headed by their drives, Vampires use the human society and lives in towns among humans, lycans live in the wild and live away from humans. The most cuning vampire will be on the top of the hierarchy, the stronger lycan will be the pack leader. Who can believe that the peace can rise? Hybrids are torn between these two sides, they are rejected by each kindred, are homeless and suffer the distrust from all. They created their own groups between the political system of the vampires and the lycan packs. Banned lycans and vamps who don't know where to go often join these hordes. Times are changing, some old artifacts appeared again. Lycans get closer and closer from the towns, The moment to choose a side is coming for the hybrids. Some rumors pretend that the "Chalice of Undeath Tricks" and the "Talisman of Gaïa" have been seen. Beyond the mystic powers of each of them the "Book of the two kindred" says that the one who will get both of them will lead his race to the victory and enslave the other. It does not matter if they actually exist or not, the quest and battle for these relics will be painful and bloody. Lib.
