    Let's add yet another layer of complication to this: Teen avatars. There's plenty of folks who RP as 16 or 17 year olds. I'm thinking of one RP sim in particular where every child is above the age of 10. They aren't chubby faced babies. Many of them use adult bodies like Maitreya or Legacy along with adult skins. How are they supposed to implement this "modesty layer" when their content isn't child specific?

    I'd hate to be a child avatar content creator right now. They must be sweating. Two months to figure out what LL wants or else their whole community gets the ban stick. That's some real pressure.

    To be clear, *I* consider it sexualized and don't think there's any reason to be spanking children, real or fake, but there's some pretty ardent folks who will swear up and down that it's not sexual. Hopefully LL puts a foot down on it.

    Hate to open up a potential can of worms, but I've gotta ask... What's defined as an "adult activity"? Because there's been people doing definitely sexualized spanking RP with child avatars for years while hiding behind the fact that people spank their RL kids to claim it's not sexual.

    My big concern is the issue that Tilia always avoided for LL - payment processors leveraging their power to force a ban of sexual content. How are they going to ensure that doesn't happen now?

    Idk about others but I just went and bought body hair and pubic hair for my av since hearing about other femboy types getting banned on suspicion of being kids. My av is quite tall but still, if LL's in this weird state where they've flipped from never banning to banning without question, I'd rather wear a little extra hair to be safe than sorry.

    IIRC, you can have sexual furniture on M rated regions as long as the parcel visibility is restricted, i.e. no one outside of the parcel can see avatars inside the parcel and what they're doing. So maybe no child avs on parcels with sexual content, but if they're on an adjoining visibility-restricted parcel, they're fine?

    Hats off to all the folks who decorated the sample homes! I've been camming around them all morning and am absolutely in awe. The perfect theming, the color coordination, all the little touches around the properties - wow! My favorite so far has to be the Tortuga decorated by Matthew Quander. That color coordination is so on point it's scary! Bravo!

    Long click is occasionally used in scripts. Not super common. The Belli house controllers use a long click to reset, I believe.

    Peeve: Going on an alt I rarely use and dealing with their horribly disorganized inventory. My mains have theirs organized with a CTS wardrobe but I can't justify that effort for an account I log into once or twice a year, yet every time I do, I spend half my online time trying to find what I'm looking for in the mess of folders.

    I've heard a few folks mention Allomancy today and say that it's relatively easy to transition over to it from CV.

    Over my years in SL, I've come to use two avatars on a regular basis. Sometimes I favor one or the other, sometimes I use both equally. One presents as more male, the other as more female. Over my time of using these avatars, they've come to have their own sort of personalities. That seems rather silly on some level, since I'm the one controlling both of them, but I've found that the way I act and the perspective and interests I have changes depending on which one I'm using. One is more social, more silly, and more sexual. The other is more reserved, more serious, and more sex repulsed. Realizing this has been a weird and fascinating experience which I've struggled to explain to myself, let alone to others. I don't have dissociative identity disorder or anything like that, but I do feel distinctly different depending on which I log in with. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something like this or known others who have. How did your avatars make your perspective differ? What do you think it says about the person behind the avatar?

    Random strings of characters and numbers as usernames are the norm on many platforms. For years, SL escaped that by allowing users to have a first and last name, giving you a better shot at a usable and interesting name. Now that last names are paywalled, usernames suck as much as they do everywhere else. SL isn't the outlier in that respect and I don't think being surrounded by people named things like "kaaarein69291841" is what's turning new users away.
