Rechecked today and it doesn't seem to actually be fixed, at least from mobile. Yesterday it appeared to change my server nickname but wound up changing my entire account nickname. I've sent an in-world NC so hopefully that gets her attention. Otherwise it seems pretty silly for them to have an ostensibly public Discord if they're not going to let people in.

I wasn't asking for resident help, I was hoping to find someone in a more official capacity who could pass this along. There's no ticket option that fits this. I suppose I could try to send her an NC in-world?

I'm really not sure where to ask this because I have no way to post in the Discord but there's an issue with the new rule that Keira Linden posted about on Nov 3 regarding users needing to change their names to their SL names. I joined the discord and filled out the form to get access but haven't been accepted yet. Because of this, I'm not allowed to change my server nickname due to the server rules. It appears things are set up so only accepted members can change their nicknames, meaning pending people are sort of SOL. Could the folks in charge of the discord either go through pendings and accept us before the cutoff date so we can comply or make it so pending users can update their nicknames? EDIT: Resolved! I think someone noticed this post and updated the server settings, I can now change my nickname without being accepted. Thanks, kind folks!

The sliders for Maitreya don't change the wideness of the thighs when viewed from the side. Reborn's thighs are the same - they can't be made particularly thin in terms of their width on the side, no matter what you do with body width or muscle sliders. It really irritated me when I demoed Reborn and is a major reason why I didn't buy it. That's why I'm confident this is Reborn.

Those thighs are 100% Reborn. Maitreya thighs aren't nearly that thick and they said that the new body's bottom half wasn't going to change much.

If they could release a set of 1024 camper plots, I'd be so happy. That's the only thing that deterred me from picking those instead of a Traditional.

Granted but it's permanently frozen and not even the sun itself could melt the ice. I wish all the stuff in my inventory was organized in a way I could easily navigate.

I don't keep a formal list, but I do keep a folder of demos I liked and am waiting on a discount to buy. Often there's certain stores that I plan to go nuts on if they have a sale. Right now Voluptuous Virtualia is at the top of that list, though no idea if they'll have one. RealEvil I'd also like to grab some stuff from. I'm definitely a sale and discount shopper, I try to keep my SL spend relatively low each month.

According to Sources™️, Lara X may be out in the next week. Apparently there was a new demo video posted in their Discord showing it off. I'm not in said server so I haven't seen it.

I've seen too many screenshots of bots on platforms standing around TE setups to believe that people aren't using bots to play it.

Nah, not Plantpets and not a temp rezzer. It's just a plant you water that grows and apparently once it matures, you get a seed. So they don't breed with one another, you can have a single plant and it will still give you a seed provided it's been watered. I don't fully understand the whole system, I just thought it was cute.

So what exactly qualifies an item as a breedable? I just bought one of those Potted plant things you can water because the design was cute. The hovertext is off, I just like it as a decoration. Can I only have two of those at my house since they're able to produce seeds?

As a Premium user who is entitled to an opinion, might I make a suggestion?

Yes, inventory previews were announced back in June. To my knowledge, they have not been fully released yet and are only available in the preview viewer. They aren't a 100% perfect solution - you or the creator has to opt to add them to items after they're available, so they won't be retroactive on old items - but hopefully creators will start to use them. For users wanting a more comprehensive visual inventory solution, I recommend trying the CTS Wardrobe. It allows you to take pictures of your items or outfits and upload them to an outside website, then wear them from the web using RLV connections. I've been using mine for almost a decade now and it's incredible.

Any word on if they're going to update their existing heads to the EvoX or just making new ones?

For all the issues that the Teen Grid had, and boy were there a lot of them, I miss the community we had there. Since it was so small and everyone was the same age, we all sort of knew each other. We hung out in the same places, played the same games, shopped at the same stores. Even the big name creators were accessible people you could chat with. The TG was a microcosm of SL, its own little world. Our economy was different, everything was much cheaper, and you could easily make a name for yourself with a little bit of work. I'm totally disconnected from that world of teenagers now, and I imagine most of them are playing Roblox or VRChat these days, not SL. Teens in SL now (and remember, you can make an account at 16) are limited to G sims. There's not a lot of those. Most stores are on M sims. They can't find other teens easily. It seems like a lonely existence compared to what I had as a teenager. I was one of the biggest advocates for the grid merge back in the day. There were good reasons for it. Copybotting was rampant, kids felt disconnected from their friends who aged out, and LL didn't have the resources to maintain the separate area. But we lost what made it special, what made it work, and I'm still sad about that.

Yeah, the fact that Victorian is an existing theme is what was making me go hmmm. People have been clammoring for more Vics for a while, so adding a new island area with them would be very much appreciated. Maybe it means nothing at all and they're just reading a book, but I was struck by the fact that it's an island paired with the given theme hint.

A Mole just posted an image of the book "The Making of Mackinac Island" in the What Are You Reading thread. Paired with the Thousand Island clue, I wonder if this could be a glimpse at the next theme they're working on? Looking at pictures of Mackinac Island, the homes seem fairly Victorian.
