I put up some more of my art in a more findable location.
SLURL: Some Art
While going through my folders to see what to put up, I found that I'd done about 18 trillion abstracts. I'd actually forgotten that. Most never got put up anywhere, and I don't think I put any up at the current location. Some were kind of neat. I should put up one or two somewhere someday.
Thank you very much for sharing it!

maybe we could arrange a coffee for an informal chat since we have interests in art and we are all in Bellisseria !!!
What do you think? That's a great idea. We could meet in Bellisseria (in a community space or somewhere else) and talk. Maybe it's a way to establish a network of galleries, artists and the public for art in Belli? Or at least among us and our friends.

I am still quite hesitant to call myself an artist but for sure I love taking pictures in SL to express myself and how I feel about that place. So maybe I am one of these you look for
Don't hesitate then, hehe... I'm interested in both: in learning about the artists and the galleries where their work can be seen (or any other space, such as a Flickr page, for instance). As a relatively new Bellisserian, I think it could be interesting to get to know the community better.

I randomly put up some of my real life art up on two of my houseboats. Mostly because I wanted to play around with putting stained glass windows up. I also put out my art book on one of the houseboats. But I do not consider either place an art gallery.
Oh, and if anyone does track down one or both of the boats - some of those are in fact stained glass in real life. Some are art made up of cut glass that isn't exactly see-through-able in real life, but are can bee seen through in SL because of transparency. And two or three are paintings I just stuck in a window and made into 'stained glass.'
For example: the parrot is cut glass, not actually stained glass, and the other one, 'Punting on the Cam', is a painting based off of a photograph I took in the 1990s).
The flowers below are stained glass (well, stained glass put against a window then photographed, the white bars are part of the actual window (in RL) that were captured in the photo). The other three windows actually feature one painting I stretched to cover three windows.
Now I have to find those houseboats, hehehe. Thank you for your answer. Actually, I'm not just looking for galleries, but for artists wherever they are. I'm sure that a blossoming community as Bellisseria's has a number of them. Thanks again.

Yes, I have and I was planning to post here but forgot
I have a gallery in Belli and it is probably not yet on any official list but mostly because it is still in some kind of progress. Currently there are pictures of @Scylla Rhiadra and we will change the exhibition in July. Anyway, enjoy: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Kirbee/228/199/23
That's great, thank you, I will check the exhibition before it changes, and then, when it does, I will check the new one.

Are there visual artists in Bellisseria? I'm sure there are, but it would be great to get to know them. Does anyone know where I could see their work?

Thank you, it worked and SL is running again on my computer. I found lots of general references to the problem I was having, including JIRA topics on that error message since 2007 - but none seemed to address the specific conditions I was facing. Again, thank you.

I cannot run any SL viewer, because I keep getting a message saying that "Second Life is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date, or are for unsupported hardware". I know many users have already had this problem, but I could not find an answer on this topic providing a step-by-step guide to solve it.
I am running Windows 7 64-bit and I had to reinstall my OS. Before reinstalling it, my SL viewer was working fine, I had no problem. Then, I made a full re-installation (not just an update), downloaded the SL viewer again and started receiving that message about my video card. My system has the following characteristics:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E7200 2.53GHz
Video card driver: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.1)
What's particularly intriguing here is the fact that, before reinstalling my OS, everything was working fine - and now the viewer does not run. Does anyone know what can be done about this problem? Thanks in advance.
