  1. I'm pondering all this advice atm. Thank you all for your responses. I'll give a more detailed response once I've sorted some things. Thanks again, and I welcome more input if it's available.
  2. Okay, I'm not too familiar how tier and stuff works with deeding combined with a private region owned by someone else. I've always just owned my own land straight-up, but now we've got a second smaller parcel elsewhere. So here's the situation: The land was owned by someone else, who we'll call Person A. The group for the land was set to a group owned by me, but was not deeded. We needed to deed the land for one night to make something work, so now the land is "group owned." The region itself is owned by someone different, who we'll call Person B. Person A was paying Person B for the
  3. Thanks so much for the help, both of you! We won't be undertaking this process right away but when we do I will bump this up with the results (and maybe further questions ) You're awesome!

  5. Normally I'm pretty good at figuring things out, but in this instance I'm not really sure. I've read some things that have given me some ideas how this is going to play out but I'd be a lot more comfortable hearing about it from someone who is sure. Here is the situation: I own 1/4th of a region on the mainland. An associate owns a 1/4th of a region as well, and it's a different non-mainland region. I own my land outright. My associate does appear as the owner of his land, but he is actually paying out to an estate manager and not LL. Both of these lands have their group set to my group, but a
  6. Well if they don't ask for it back, it's too late to do anything about it now. Just keep it.
