oooh ty Cinnamon!!! I should have thought to try that, but sometimes my down arrow doesn't always work lol LL should still see about fixing that bug..

I tried setting my preferences to mid or better, tried resetting the sun to region default, tried everything, and still can't turn nearby local lights on.. I guess you're right, it must be a bug in 2.1.. guess I'll just change back to another viewer when I need to take pictures lol I also reported the bug to SL, just waiting to see what happens..

I'm using viewer 2.1, and I don't have a facelight on.. under preferences it won't even let me click on the local light, the only one that highlights is sun and moon.. local light stays blank.. but thank you, I'll see if I can find someone in tech support, and try another viewer

I've been trying to change my preferences to where my local lighting is on, but the viewer won't let me, even when on ultra settings for graphics.. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing seems to work.. any suggestions?
