Another thought, have you joined any groups since you joined? It could be a group tag. Go to the menu at the top, click on profile, then groups. Click on none, and see if that clears it up.

I believe what Sid is trying to say is that commissioning a custom avie is extremely expensive. A designer can sell an avatar to many people, compensating them for the huge amount of time and labor they put into the design. A custom avatar, however, is sold only to the person commissioning it, therefore, the cost skyrockets. There are designers who WILL take custom orders if you can afford it. Hope this helps!

I had an account that I often used in the past, aside from my main one. I deleted her for specific reasons. After a couple years I decided that I wanted to reuse her. I called LL, and questioned whether or not it was possible after such a long time period. They were awesome! Asked me a few security questions, and PRESTO! Belinda came back to life! I did lose her fairly substantial inventory, but at least I had her back!

This may help as well; go to Advanced, then show debug setting, then Render avatar, set to false. Then make sure all attachments you don't want seen are removed. Hope this helps!,

Also, if you are in an area that does not allow rezzing, you can go to the boxed item in your inventory and select wear. You will then have the package attached to your avatar. Right click on the item and select edit, go to the contents tab, highlight the items in the package and drag them into your inventory. Then detach the item. PRESTO!:matte-motes-big-grin:

I've been in SL for a long time, but due to a motherboard crash was out for a while. When I got a new laptop, and ran, waving my arms, back inworld it seems most of my old friends are gone! Would love to find someone who can be as goofy as I can be to hang around with! It doesn't matter whether you're male or female, as long as you love to laugh and occasionally just do random, goofy things! I live in the Eastern time zone, and am usually on at night.

Phil, I have to agree with you. So many avies are so beyond the norm as to be unattractive. I usually think the more realistic avies (in so far as the "gorgeousness" if that makes any sense) are actually the most beautiful.
