Well, spent the weekend mostly building the venue f'r next weekend, which looks like this: It's for a big "East meets West" mixer in Bay City. Should be fun! I did get some time with my siblings, though. We explored Barney's Bay, which has... A candy store! It also has... So what's not to love! Anyways, I hope everybuggy else's weekend is super. And I'm glad to actually see, y'know, folks posting in the thread(other than me). :-) Have a super week ahead! Ah Mari, we can always count on you. I love the pictures you post like the first one here that show me places and activities in SL and I love the glimpses into your personal Second Life. Hug hug hug!

Even using another computer which isn't setup with my shortcuts and timesavers, and most people seem to be relatively lax about organizing their desktop. On a somewhat related note, I cracked up seeing business cat here. That feline boss reminds me of my own cuddly-wuddly, Mr. Sushi aka ONYX GUMDROP. He's a gangsta rappa cat. What a sweetheart! I'm such a sucker for cute, er I mean tough, kitties.

(But instead you get semi-transparent windows, like over my picture.) Also, you will probably have to re-edit your avatar picture if you do what I said, because you might see part of it repeated at the top or side. (Sorry!) And remember that the preview isn't accurate. Thanks Ossian, yours looks great. I think I will do that but it looks as if I need to make a picture with a dark back ground first, or the white lettering won't show up.
  12. Maureen Boccaccio wrote: When you hit "reply", and the box pops up, there's a "quote" button in the upper right hand corner, just above the text box. Thanks Mo. It would have taken me weeks to figure that out.
  13. Thanks Mo. I kind of figured it out but this will help. How do I quote your post? So much new stuff to figure out lately...
  14. Thanks for asking :smileyhappy: That's 3x2GB of memory with room on the motherboard for another block of 3x2. And the case is big and black with cool blue led lights on the fans. I also got a new Wacom Bamboo tablet and stylus. I'm getting used to that and to Windows 7 and really loving the whole thing. In SL I can see reflections and shadows and everything rezes really fast etc. etc. I usually hate shopping and rarely get in the mood to own something new, But I really got a strong desire for a much more powerful computer and somehow my husband and I found the money to pay for it. (He had over $600 in change he'd been saving for a long time.) I'm really pretty excited about the whole thing. Now how do I get a cool forum avatar installed here?
  15. I went to the thread at that other place looking for Mari's Monday pictures and found a link to here! Now I have to spend my morning making a cool new forum pic, figuring out how to get it installed etc. And I was planning to get some serious work done on my serious new computer. But oh well. It's great to see everyone.
