It seems I have discovered a new feature subset. I stay logged in, until I use the forums, and then I am logged out. The first time the page is loaded after a few hours abscence, and I hit the Sign In button, I am automatically logged in. I then get logged out intermittently as I use the forum and have to manually sign in each time thereafter. A new security feature called: "Who are you, really?"

Perhaps for those who aren't used to plugging pretentious prose into plagiarism checkers, but it's just as tiresome for academics as having to review semi-literate papers which obey Microsoft's "grammar" corrections and select the most polysyllabic of the options for simple words which an online thesaurus suggests. You might not even have needed to google the text to identify the words of an extremely well-known plagiarist which Ken quotes above. It was not the text he pasted which was amusing, it was the reponses of those who thought that he actually made the effort to author it himself.

What I find happening, besides the initial page now being the Blogs, is as I enter the forums, bring up the first topic of interest, and then return to message listings, I am no longer logged in. Sometimes just hitting the log in button will bring me back, other times it takes me all the way back out to the sign in page. This is usually just for the first go, but can repeat at times. I seem to have no trouble posting (crosses fingers).

I would have a great deal of entertainment (dare I say with a bit of guilty schadenfreude) reading all the heated forum postings from people demanding monetary compensation from LL for their lost inventory and land that they have "spent thousands on" all these past years. I suppose I would also miss watching my avatar animate on the screen, and perhaps loose just the tiniest amount of my own identity with him when the electrons portraying him cease to dance on my screen. The only thing left would be then to look to the future. If life teaches you anything at all, it is that change is inevitable, and you are best served by learning to roll with the change.

Provide as much factual information as you can, including logs or pictures, but only that which pertains to the AR. Just the fact that you have encroaching objects on your land is enough. The whole back story is not necessary, and may interfere with the intent.

I stopped recieving offline IMs to email a couple of months ago. I have checked all the usual culprits. Turned it off and back on, allowed the domain, etc.
