Does anyone have any idea how long it could take support to respond to a ticket requesting to purchase abandoned land...any recent xperience with the process? Thanks in advance from an impatient person!

When using firestorm there was a preference for rezzing objects automatically set to land group. Now that I am using the SL beta viewer, I cannot find that preference anywhere. It seems like a fairly basic thing, and a nuisance to have to change groups all the time, so I'd be surprised if the beta viewer doesn't have that feature, and I hope I'm merely missing the setting somwhere. Thanks in advance for help!

I've seen the same ads...they are there then disappear...I am in favor of LL doing what they can to increase revenues with things of this nature that are not harmful to anyone really. I'd certainly prefer this type of thing to (and i hesitate to even type this!) a tier or premium membership fee increase. Since its a privately held company, residents have no idea of their financial status.

I keep forgetting why I don't use the sl viewer...just downloaded it tonight and removed firestorm....and having this same texture problem so i see it hasn't been fixed yet...have tried all the fixes mentioned here in the past...problem persists...it can drive you crazy after a while...but fps is better than fs. (running mac os 10.6.8).

Thanks for the reply Tried that; it didn't work for me...what does work is tping to another region and re-wearing my skin eyebrows, shape and hair. I do lose any ims, objects or notices that have been sent to me while i was logged off; these come back if i restart my computer before logging in...if i can restart the computer before logging in each time i won't have the linden notice at all. And not being a technical person, i have no idea why!

Thank you. Am on a mac...so i lsearched for similar, but didn't find any temp files. I actually dont use the temporary upload feature.

yes...very time consuming to have to tp out and back to see the result of the changes one makes...then make a further correction and have to leave and come back...got dizzy!

right...thats one of the confusing things...and as i mentioned, its not just me who is having this issue...so i dont think it has anything to do with my os...remember, it only occurs with my main account, not with alts...and perhaps i've confused you...the message comes to me inworld as a notice (like a group notice).

I've been getting the above notice for several weeks...it occurs every third login on the newest firestorm release viewer, and also the latest sl beta viewer (V3). But only on my main account. It does not happen to alts. I log in, and i am a cloud, and receive the notice. I've discovered two work-arounds...i can log out and restart my entire computer, or i can tp to another region and replace my skin, shape, and eyebrows. Upon comparison, the worn tab in inventory does not agree with the current outfit folder...some items in the folder are grayed out. I am not the only one having this issue, and it does not seem limited to a mac or windows os. You are right...live chat told me they couldn't do anything...the objects were finally removed from my parcels after nearly a week of repeated ARs. And they are still all around on other parcels, their particles affecting everything. I abandoned my parcels and have vowed never again to own mainland. Its a shame.

Thank you all for the advice and input...i think my plan will be to continue inworld abuse reports, support tickets and if all else fails, the live chat. Eventually they will have to respond (I hope). Meanwhile looking at new locations for my business.

I have a business located on a previously peaceful mainland sim. There is a neighboring business as well. Beginning Monday of this week, we've been spammed by seemingly self-replicating objects of different types. We've filed object abuse reports, tried live chat, and submitted a support ticket. Our businesses are totally interrupted...and LL completely ignores it. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can get their attention to deal with this? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Second Life 3.4.1 (265134) Sep 24 2012 21:13:58 (Second Life Beta Viewer) that is the version i'm running...i took a screen shot of the menu i see to show you, ...but cant figure out how to get it pasted here lol. I'd like very much for you to see it because it doesn't look like yours!

If you look at the beta viewer (V3) you will see the debug menu at the top left, next to the "me" and the "Help" menus on the login page.

On the debug menu on the V3 login page there is a selection called logging level with several choices...what is the significance of this?
