I have firestorm, or usually do, and I just bought a Windows 8 laptop...i launch firestorm no problem, but then my viewer starts flashing colors, and making it impossible to see or chat or do anything...and its not just the viwer part, but like the bottons where like inventory and such are located too...any suggestions?

both of you...the same problem occured to me...i was stuck for many days in one spot...make an alt, and then find a way to contact the owners or GM's of the sims you are stuck on...explain the situation and ask them to restart the sim...i did and it worked for me...i submitted multiple tickets and LL cleared my presence inworld, but nothing worked until i did sumtin myself

Did you crash/get logged out on a certain sim? if so, make an alt or pull up a different account and contact the land owners and ask them to restart the sim...mine was ghosted for about 4 days, and i had the land owner restart the sim and it unstuck,...hopefully that can help you...

i know how you feel...ive been ghosted for about 3-4 days for now and no matter how many times LL tell me they remove my presence from SL, and i clear my caches, reinstall viewers and everything, it remains ghosted...its pissing me off, becuz ive posted multiple tickets and ive spent a lot of money on that account...

ok, now im really starting to get pissed off...my account finally logged out, after like a whole day of waiting, and it was fine earlier today, but now i try to log in, and its doing the same stuff it did last night...telling me its failing to log me in and its trying to log me out...wtf is wrong with Second Life? why is this occuring to me? ive tried all the solutions written in the forum, ancd im not a premium member, so i have no one to call for help...i can log on my alt, but not this one...its royally pissing me off...i been playing SL for over 2 years now...i can log on to the website and everything, and it appears my account is still ghosted! ive changed my password...people hve passed me lindin...nothing i try to do is working...im half tempted to call the official lindin labs and bitch them out...this is BS that my account...that ive spent a lot of money on building and buying items for is going to lock up like this...

I have been playing SL over 2 years and have never experienced this before...I crashed and my viewer shut itself down the other day, now my avatar/account is still logged in or sumtin to that affect...when I try to log in, it tells me the system is logging me out and i have to wait 5 minutes...so I wait those 5 minutes, and then it just does it again and adds 5 minutes...ive restarted my computer, restated the internet, even didnt bother it for about 8 hours...and it is still doing it...what is wrong? what can i do? i try searching on the forums but both the knowledge base and/or forums have no help for me im not a premium member...what can i do then? this started happening before the maintenance started occuring yesterday...i crashed at around 4 am this morning...and im 3 hours ahead of SL/LL Time...so it was happening a good like4 hours before the maintenance... Ive tried making it go other places, it still dont work...and i have no idea what region im in, cuz i was at a friends home...
