  2. I had a customer message me today stating that they paid for 2 items and only got one. When I checked my transactions on mp, it shows as both items failed and payment was not recieved. The customer is now requesting I send the item that they didn't get. I pointed out, "here is my record stating "no payment recieved, no items sent" , please send me proof of payment made so that we can investigate. sighs. kicks MP.

I put up 2 items on the mp yesterday "Ride-Bow Top" and "Ride-Bow Top Demo", I attempted to list the items as "general" and it was forced to be "Adult' due to features, I examined features and there is nothing there that should indicate an adult product. I did have the words "sexy midriff baring" but took that out of the description field and off of the picture. No matter what I do, I can't get this to be a general item. All of the other products in the "Ride" line are general. Is the father of a 12 year old girl doing the ratings now? Please help.-Ride-Bow Top
  6. I have been playing with mesh wearables and was wondering if the following is possible: ie: I have a mesh shoe which is attached the right hand when worn. I would like to add a texture change hud to it, okay, fine, I create my prim, link the two together so that the prim I created and linked to the mesh is now the master prim (or whatever the name is). I wear the shoe and the attachment point is still the right hand. Awesome. Now, I would like to add a lovely mesh flower to the shoe. I link the flower, the shoe and my prim together, making my prim the master. When worn, it all is attached onto my right hand, but, now I have a flower attached to my right hand instead of being stuck on the shoe where I want it. is it possible to do this? suggestions?
  7. File a support ticket. This recently happened to me and while it took over a week for support to get back to me, they did. Turned out I had a bug in my inventory, they fixed it and within minutes I was able to send items to the marketplace. When filing the ticket be sure to provide the information of what viewer you are using.
  8. If you have purchased the item on the marketplace I would a/ see what the terms of support are for items sold by the merchant. Make sure you are contacting them in the chosen manner. b/ if you have contacted them 2 times, this is not unreasonable as notecards get lost. On the 3rd contact provide a deadline by which you wish to be contacted and what your desired outcome is (to get a new hair, be refunded, etc). Be friendly and reasonable in your request. c/ investigate to see what means you can work through the marketplace to achieve contact and desired outcome. d/ if all else fails, provide a negative feedback, provide full details of when you initially made the purchase, discovered the problem, dates of contact and in what forms, what you requested. If this doesn't make the merchant pay attention and rectify the purchase problem, it will provide ample information to other prospective buyers to be aware of a product flaw. e/ if the merchant contacts you after you have reviewed your product and made the situation right, be sure to update your review. Not all merchants ignore their customers and most are more than willing and reasonable to work with you to make things right. f/ if you purchased the product inworld, try to file an abuse complaint... Again, provide full information.
  9. Do you mean the "quantity" is set to "0" ? this would mean that the product is sold out and none are available for purchase.
  10. I was surfing the Marketplace and noticed that a store owner had reviewed more than one of his own products (and provided 5 star ratings). Why is there no option on the "flag item" to allow reporting of such activity? This is a disallowed practice, is it not?

I look forward to the day when the MP moves into the millenium. :smileyfrustrated: I have nearly 800 unavailable items associated with my marketplace account, do I have to manually... one-by-one delete them? is there any way to do it en masse? Also, Can I delete everything in my merchant outbox and just start adding new inventory? There is so much to have to do it one by one... help !!! The items are not in the "Unassociated Inventory Items" Category, they are in the "Manage Listings" category. The boxes to the left that you speak of, the option to check them individually or en masse has been removed. Unfortunately, your assistance (while appreciated) doesn't address the issue. I apologize for my ambiguity. I had already successfully deleted all of my "Unassociated Inventory Items" prior to attempting the rest of the items. Also, there are unavailable items that are still listed which I can "select" by touching the button... but, how do I delete them? And finally, I had a magic box still rezzed inworld, when I finally got around to deleting it 2 days ago I got an email stating that I needed to rerez it as I had items that could not be sold without it. hu? I thought we were done with them?

Rolig, "Those boxes that you labeled "buttons cannot be pressed" in your first image and now relabeled "buttons have been disabled" are check boxes and they are not disabled on my own screen. I can select them and then apply the Unlist option at the bottom of the page. I wonder if there's an issue with your browser. Have you tried clearing its cache? Or using a different browser? This is a real puzzle." My apologies, the buttons have always been disabled. You can press all you want on them and nothing happens. Do you have items highlighted in pink, such as I?

  15. I wont touch your issue with the seller or the DMCA, what I can tell you is that the reason for the 'dead" space on your template is to match up with the way textures wrap on the SL avatar. I recommend you google "the mermaid diaries" and learn about this through her incredible tutorials.
  16. Put your time and energy (and lindens) into a mainshop. Ad boards and stalls/carts/mini-shops unfortunately dont work for all the reasons everyone else has already mentioned. Focus on new ways to attract new traffic while meeting the ever-changing habits of your established traffic. The occassional hunt may help you out there, but given that they only attract freebie hunters, I wouldn't do more than a couple a year. There are some great sales groups which consistently bring shoppers and collaborative groups. Having a bot is also a good way to bring traffic if you have a MM board. and moreover, word of mouth. If you provide a fantastic product at a reasonable price with amazing customer service, then you'll be fine. Feel free to IM me if you would like info on a collaborative group.
  17. I use firefox, switched from IE months ago because of problems. is there a different (more stable) browser out there? Like I said, the section of (choose up to 8 related products) uploads in seconds.... but its the main product photo that isn't uploading... you sure its browser?

In trying to post my ads on marketplace it is taking up to 45 minutes to successfully upload one product picture (the main item) yet only seconds for the pictures for related items to successfully upload. My picture format is .png and file size 600 x 600 pixels. The upload process generally goes like this "choose item > quick fill > mod info as needed > upload image > sit and wait for loading >page times out > press upload image > sit and wait for loading > page times out > refresh page > upload image, this time pressing several times consecutively in case I need to for some odd reason > sit and wait for picture to upload... sit and wait for picture to upload.......... sit and wait for picture to upload... upload times out, refresh page, you get the idea. Why is this such a problem? I know that as the other pictures for the item are uploading quickly that it is not a firewall issue, or a format issue with the picture. My frustration is that the inability to quickly upload pictures is time away from creation, so I don't utilize the mp as much as it could be. When I can only successfully upload 3 items of a set of 9, I then worry and wonder if any buyer will take the time to come see me inworld? Please, fix the uploading issues.
