I just made a post on how LL can make more money. This shows how LL can make more money, by letting verified basic accounts buy land, and creating minor premium. Just go to the link to read more.

Ok, so LL has said that they are going to raise premium, and other fees. But I think there is a better way. It would also help get rid of some of the abandoned land. In the sim where my store is at, there is about 43,000 sq. meters of abandoned land. Even with the increase in the amount of land that premium members can own, there is still a lot of abandoned land around. So below are some solutions that LL can adopt. LET VERIFIED BASIC ACCOUNTS OWN 512 SQ METERS OF LAND. Ok, if a person has a basic, but verified account, then they can own 512 sq. meters of land. They will get no stipend, and no live support. The only way for them to deed the land to a group, is if they own the group. And only one parcel of land can be deeded to the group. If they are offline for 6 moths, or more, then they lose the land. So if the person is going to be offline for a long period of time, then they should sell the land. They also can't buy land on the auctions.Also can't buy land from LL. LETS HAVE MINOR PREMIUM. SO lets have minor premium. Minor premium would cost about $1.75 a month, or about $12.00 a year. They will be able to own 1024 sq. meters of land, but will get no stipend, or live support. They can deed the land to a group, and it wouldn't have to be a group that they own. They could even deed it to a rental. Unlike VB, there is no time limit for how long they can be offline. They could be offline for several years. As long as they pay minor premium, then they can keep the land. Premium Members. LL is talking about raising premium. If they are going to do that, then why not let premium members own 1536 sq. meters of land. If you guys are going to raise the price of premium, then how about letting people own more land. This will mean that more land gets sold, and less abandoned land. LAND TRANSACTION FEES. Now this might make some people mad. But I think there should be land transactions fees. When you sell a parcel of land, a percentage of the sales would go to LL. The fee would be smaller for larger parcels, than smaller parcels. There would be no transaction fees on auctions, or on estates. With more people being able to own land, this will make land prices go up. The higher the price, the more LL makes. Now you can sell land for 0L$. But you will have to sell it to a certain person. Say to a friend. You just couldn't put sell for 0 L$, and have no name entered into the field. Now, I have just mentioned land, but what about the L$ amount that premium members get each month.S SHOULD MORE LINDENS BE GIVE OUT EACH WEEK? Well if LL were to give out more L$ each week, that would make prices go up. Kind of like Germany after WW I. But there might be another way. Let people be able to pay premium, and tier to LL, with L$. Lets say 25,000 L$ a year. That is $100.00 a year. If LL is going to stick with the new $99.00 for premium, then let the premium members pay with L$. There would be no cash out. Premium members might have to pay more if they pay with L$. There is also an added bonus. Fewer L$ in circulation. Now the L$ has more buying power. LL could increase the stipend to 500 L$ a week, but a lot of that would be going back to LL. LETS HAVE TWO EVENTS. Lets have two events, instead of one. One of the events is for spam. It is ok to spam the events for spam. There would be a 5 L$ fee for each spam. You can send up to 10 spams a day. Each time it would cost 5 L$. The posting in the spam events would stay up for 7 days. Spam Events would look like the regular events. I did a search today in events, for the word money. There were 5 listings, and 4 of those were from the same person. If you spam in the regular events, then you will be find 20 L$ for each spam. I would like for some one at LL to look at what I posted. Would LL make more money? If so, how much more would they make? I don't know how to set up a poll on here. But how many would go for the minor premium if it was offered? For those that are verified basic, how many of you be wiling to buy land? The land would be 512 sq. meters. How many basic members would like to try minor premium? The post that Grumpity Linden made is now 29, or more pages. So everybody might want to start posting here.

So lets have group limits set at 60 groups for premium members. Want to belong to more groups? Then you have to pay more. So if you want to belong to 70 groups, then you have to pay $99.00 a year. Those that don't want more groups, pay the old rate. Want to belong to 80 groups, then you pay $120.00 a year. Make the max at 100 groups. And charge a higher amount for every 10 groups that you wish to have.

Where was your computer made at? How about your cellphone? Most likely China. Now guess what? Computers, and cellphones are cheaper now days. In 1978, an Apple computer cost $3,000.00. That would be about $15,000.00 today. If not more. California has become too expensive to do business in. So move to Texas, Nevada, Delaware, or Florida. Off shore about 30%, to 40% to low wage countries. This would be support, and something like the G team. SL needs a police force. And I don't mean people role playing police officers. There used to be the G team. Bring that back, and hire people in low wage countries to work in the new G team. Then start replacing those that work in support, with workers from low wage countries. LL can do this by replacing a few workers at a time. If a worker quits, or retires, then replace the worker with another worker from a low wage country. But don't get all the workers from the same low wage country. LL needs to get them from about five, or six low wage countries. Because there could be wars, or revolutions. Then there's natural disasters. For what it cost to hire five workers in California, LL can hire about 50 workers in low wage countries. This would be a win, win for LL, and for those that play SL.

Why not move out of California? Move to Texas, or Nevada. No state income tax there. How about off shoring some of your labor to India? Or how about Nigeria? You can employ 10 workers in one of those countries, for the price of one employee in California. This would be for support, and something like the G team. I also think that everybody should boycott the market place, for 90, to 120 days. Buy nothing on the market place, and don't visit the market place web site.

While I do have stuff on the marketplace, I think we should buy less on the marketplace. Or even stop buying on the marketplace. Do this for 90 days. Perhaps more. Merchants would make less money, but LL would also make less money. If you plan to boycott the marketplace, then email LL. Tell them that you are going to boycott the marketplace until LL reverses its policy.

About OpenSim. What OpenSims are there? I think Avination shut down. So I don't know what OpenSims still exist. Do any of them allow camping? If an OpenSim were to allow camping, but not bots, then more people might join OpenSim.

The reason that LL is increasing prices, is because they are located in California. California has high taxes, and San Francisco has high rent. LL needs to move out of California. Move to Texas, or Nevada. Texas has no state income tax, and Houston has lower rent. Nevada has no state income tax. And rent should be cheaper in Las Vegas, than in San Francisco. Taxes are only going to go up in California. The same goes for rent in San Francisco. If they own their building, then they will see higher property taxes. LL should also off shore some of their work force to other countries. I suggest India. This would be for something like the old G team, and for support. I have been talking to some people in different groups in SL. Some are talking about going basic, or stop playing. On this page, I see the same thing being said in SL. I'm not sure what I will do. I do think that everybody should email LL, and tell them what you think.

Ok, I decided to do something else. I unplugged the internet cable from the desktop, to the laptop computer. I can now get on SL from the laptop. But if I unplug the laptop while in SL, my avatar can't move. I'm now going to do a speed test at speedtest.net. The download speed is 70.83 Mbps, and the upload is 11.90 Mbps. I will now do the speed test with the internet cable unplugged. Now the download speed is 45.12 Mbps, and the upload is 11.94 Mbps. So it can't be the internet speed. Even with Wi-Fi the speed is still good for SL. So what would stop it from going on SL with Wi-Fi, but not with an internet cable?

There is something I forgot to add. I use Windows Firewall. When I search firewall, I bring up Windows Firewall with Advanced Security. On the left are inbound, and outbound rules. But other than that, I don't know what to do.

Tuesday night my laptop did some updates. Now I can't get on. I can with the desktop, just not the laptop. I know it has something to do with the firewall. The region handshake comes up each time. I did get the firewall up, and put Singularity Viewer as allowed. But not sure about TCP, and UDP. I have it on the list two times. Should it be just one, or more than one. It is a Dell computer, and it is Windows 10.

I got it done last night. I tried over, and over the past few days. First I had gotten an old one that was from 2,010, to 2,014. I did some more, and the IM history went blank. Then I tried a few more times, and I got it. Now I just have problems with media. When I click play media, I can't turn the media off. I can turn the radio off. Just can't turn off the media. When I turn it on, the off button won't show up. The only way I can turn off media, is to click on nearby media, and then click stop all media.

My old computer is a Vista. Should I copy the items in the SL folder, and paste them in the folder that is setup in the new computer. Or should I drag the old folder in there, and delete the new folder?

Ok, I have now started SL on my new computer. I already did the settings. How do I put in the IM history?

Ok, I do have the folders on the new computer, and on a USB drive. I didn't know if they could be installed in the viewer, and I didn't know how to install them. This is what I have on my new computer. I downloaded Singularity on there, but not run it yet. Just had it come up. Didn't enter the name and password. I know that you can transfer chat IMs to another computer. But can you install them in the viewer, so they will show up in the chat history? I got a new computer, and I would like to transfer all the old IMs to my new computer. I use the Singularity viewer. The computer is Windows 10.

I went there because I had forgotten his name. But I did see the name of a sim in his picks. Now some goodnews. I was contacted today from a person that owns a sim. I was given a TP, and I went there, and then was given a group tag. I went there two hours ago, but when I tried to rezz the house, it said that you cannot create plants here. So I did a Google search, and I found my answer. Torley Linden has a sandbox where you can rezz objects that has plants with them. The sim is called Here. The auto return is set at 15 minutes. I found out something about the house. The door scripts are no transfer. There doesn't seam to be a problem if I drag the house from my inventory, to somebodies profile. Only after I rezz the house. I sent the creator a message, and asked him for a door script that is full perm.

Update. Yesterday I got an IM from a guy, and he wanted to know how many prims was the house. He sent the message when I wasn't on. I messaged him, and told him. 54 prims, and it needs a lot that is 2048 sq. meters.This morning I got no reply, and I had forgotten his name. But I remembered an island sim that he owned. So I TP there. Then a Voodoo security orb sent me away home. I saw his name in my radar. So I sent him a message. He didn't reply, so I went to eat breakfest. I came back, and still no reply. I messaged him some more, and no reply. But when I messaged him one more time, I saw a message that said that he had blocked me.

Its not just the building I need to set perms. Its also to set perms on the scripts. Make them no copy, and no modify. I do that with all the objects I put out. Also need to see how many prims. I knew one time, but I forgot.

Does anybody have any land that I can rent for a few hours? I bought a house from somebody that has left SL. The house has Linden trees, so it won't rezz on a sandbox. The house is 20 meters, by 40 meters. So it won't rezz on the land I have. I plan to put the house in a Gacha machine that I'm making.

Click on search, then click on Land Sales. There is a drop down menu. Click on that, and choose mainland. Then enter the amount you would like to spend for 512 sq. meters. Also check if you want PG, Mature, or Adult. TP to the land you want to buy, and then click on the land, or click at the top where the title is. It will have buy land. Then just click on buy.

I belong to 11 spam groups. I open, and then close each spam group when I get on. I was in 7 spam groups just a few months ago. I decided to join a few more. The last four I joined, allows me to send out notices.

If this is in Ondori sim, then I don't think you can sell your land. I think that sim is for Linden homes. I don't know how you would get rid of the land. You might want to email LL, and put the link to this page on there.
