It's freakn Valentine's day. Last time I checked (and I should know because I sell flowers here) that partners buy gifts for eachother for Valentines day. Sounds like a perfect time to shut the servers down that allow such transactions to take place. I have two pages of transactins on hold. This tells the poor schmucks that stull buy stuff in SL that LL is more interested in sticking to an artificial service schedule than to make sure folks get stuff on time that will make SL a more "human" place. Exactly. Should an adult fail to verify that any and all people within viewing or hearing distance can see or hear them do something "adult", the adult can be arrested, sued, fined and jailed. With this in mind... why would ANY adult want to stick around SL? It's a trap!

I agree. 18 is the magic number IRL, not 16 and 17 with disclaimers attached. Here in the RL, if you have any illicit contact with someone half a second under 18 you can go to jail. Why LL would put its loyal, paying members at risk is beyond me. I'm out of here other than to see how all this plays out legally. Good luck to all you adults who remain and please lawyer up - you all are going to need it.
