    This reminds me of an issue one of my customers were having with a sword I made like 10 years ago or so. I had stated in the instructions to hold mouse left click and use WASD to utilize the melee animations. Having been doing combat in SL since like 2008 and gaming overall since like 1997 WASD was always the base for movement in computer games (however most MMOs have a mouse option for more streamlined movement. They also have more buttons so freeing up keys for such makes mouse movement far more efficient). Anyways, last summer a few of my customers left reviews stating that my sword didn't work. So I tested them out and tried them out on a few alts and I had no issues. I eventually met with one of the customers and after about 45 minutes or so it dawned on me to ask what they used for movement. They stated that they used their arrow keys. Luckily the script still works if holding left click and using arrow keys so I ended up changing the instruction to state to hold left click and use whatever you use for movement to activate the animations. Haven't had any complaints since.

    If we're being honest, the game of football in Europe derived from a 12th century game where players were allowed to punch the ball with their fists... It was also a far more violent game than modern European Football hence why it was banned on multiple occasions. If anything it more closely resembled rugby than modern football in Europe. But no one complained about it being called football...

    The NFL sold out Wimbley in London a few times and the crowds seemed pretty into it. I could foresee a division in Europe at some point down the road. The flight times from the east coast US to parts of Europe are comparable to flight times from the east coast to California. So it's not like the logistics isn't something the NFL deals with already.

    The full bright makes it easier for masking in photoshop. I'm guessing that why he does it. The lighting for sun, moon and projectors will still show on his avi. As for the OPs question. Yes indeed make a skybox platform. It certainly comes in handy. I have one set to about 2000 that's basically my personal sandbox for setting up scenes for photos. Some times I have multiple platfrom and use a teleporter to hop from one to the other. Can usually find them cheap on the MP.

    I updated a product and now the system can't seem to find it. I was hoping to have this redelivered to anyone who had purchased it won't even let me relist it now. Any ideas? Edit: Nvm figured it out. I never activated the folder.... Doh!..

    Ya but I'm kind of leaning toward the email still sending the user's name is an oversight and likely won't be a thing going forward. Otherwise, what is the point?

    I am kind of indifferent to it. I didn't see an issue before but have been noticing creators banning and blocking people a lot recently for leaving negative reviews rather than addressing said reviews whether it be an issue with the product or some sort of user error. It doesn't take a lot of effort to find out that maybe there was some sort of miscommunication with the product or that something is in fact wrong with it. I got an offline message just as I logged off the other day about a customer having an issue with a sword. I hopped back on and spent 2 hours trying to resolve it with the customer at 3am my time. The customer was new and I assumed they just didn't know how to use them. But it turned out I used a couple capital letters in the gesture which I guess causes them not to work on some viewers. I also found out that not everyone uses ASWD for movement and use the arrow keys instead. So my instructions telling people to use ASWD probably wasn't helpful to people who didn't know those are movement keys. So in the end it was an issue with my product and explains why I've gotten other negative reviews on it before. It got resolved and I even got a good review out of it in the end.

    Customers leaving one star review because I guess they never used a sword before. A 1L sword mind you. Reason: “no animations” um just left click and aswd away. Or maybe he was talking about the sling?

    As a Veteran (US Army OIF III) and proud member of the "woke brigade" why would we cancel such a thing? The 4th is like Christmas to me. Or is it you just can't resist letting everyone know of your toxicity? Wasn't it the "unwoken" who have now twice in our history attempted to take down our Union? If anyone wants to cancel the 4th it would be you.

    what do you search for where traffic is the determining factor of you or anyone going there? It's very limited. I usually search for specific things not random things and just go to the highest traffic place.

    Probably because traffic has been irrelevant for about 10 years now. Maybe longer.

    Speaking from experience yes, they can post reviews on stuff they purchased in the in the past, assuming it hasn't been recently hotfixed and can even still reply to other people's reviews. However this may be an unintentional flaw in the system.

    I just noticed this as well and realized the vendor had banned me for leaving a negative review oO. Is this a new feature? God forbid shoppers let other shoppers know a product is bad or not as advertised.

    A lot of those sims have shut down due to mismanagement, real life, or just people naturally growing older and popular genres changing. Grunge post-appoc or urban has kind of run its course in SL it seems relative to the times OP mentioned. I don't think it has anything to do with teens as more of those sims were "adult". I think the term combat/rp is a bit counter intuitive as people looking for combat are generally turned off by RP and vice versa. Those were likely the conflicts you are referring to. I wouldn't necessarily assume those people were teens as a simple search in SL back then for the term "Combat" would result in NoR, Cola, and Toxia respectively. And NoR wasn't popular for it's RP.

    I changed the price from 300L to 500L for an item of mine a few days ago yet recent purchases are showing up in history with people paying 300L even though it's listed at 500L.

    where would I drop that in? I am totally new to this. I bought a melee script pack which is perfect for my weapons and easy for me to understand and modify. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact that the people stay in the "stand" or "ready" animation all the time even when moving around which looks dumb. The creator has not been around to give me any sort of technical support so I've just been trying to wing it since I would like to crank out 4 or 5 more weapons. This 1 thing has been preventing me. I just want my weapons to go to stand/ready pose when people hold down the left key prior to engaging a asw or d.
