Ooh I see two of my old favorites here: Alien by Thierry Mugler, Hypnotic Poison by Christian Dior. Love woody and warm spicy amber and vanilla; strong but feminine scents. I also wore Black Opium by Yves Saint Laurent every day for a couple of years until I fell out of love with it (sentimental reason). Oriental by Zara, an amber-vanilla-musk fragrance, would have been the perfect cologne for me but the longevity is extremely disappointing. People who know me in real life can tell I am near when they can catch a whiff of coffee and dark nutty chocolate, an interesting contrast to my appearance which looks more like someone who wears tutti-fruity and cloyingly-girly scents like Juicy Couture. But I always come back to the Princess collection by Vera Wang. Warm powdery vanilla with just the perfect balance of fruity and spicy. The Rock Princess above all holds a special place in my heart because it has more woodsy and intense dark chocolate and guava notes, and I feel it is my personality in a bottle. On fragrances and men: An interesting study done years ago by Rohto Pharmaceutical claim that men (or average Japanese men at least) are drawn the most to what they believe is the “young woman smell” (lol creepy), comprising of compounds Lactone C10 and C11, scents that I personally think smell like peaches in milk. Here in Japan many beauty products are infused with peach aroma because it is believed to be the “smell of youth“ that will help you “be popular to men” lmao while it smells delicious I do not care much for it, neither does my husband. We both prefer musky chocolate scents.

Hey @Maysooky1, welcome to SL! I will never get tired of recommending amiable and RNK. Their styles may be conservative, but by Asian especially Japanese standards they are beautiful and attractive, just the clothes I see and would personally wear in real life. spectacledchic has a very toned down, Asian girl next door style in contrast to its wilder sister, MIWAS (same region). Pixicat is also very lovely, they have an excellent mix of cute, preppy, edgy, and sexy. All classy! cheezu and parfait & HIME DREAM have a similar style and are quite popular among the “kawaii” crowd, just carefully choose which outfit as some are overly eroticized. Recently I have been enjoying Look At Me, most of their collections are a bit sexualized but it is really about how you mix and match each piece and assemble the outfit. If you do not mind playing gacha, I highly recommend the shops at Love Game. They are popular with Korean SLers. You can IM me in-world if you need help. Have fun!

Conversely, I hate it when we need to buy the fatpack to get that one basic and totally wearable for everyday color or design, and only the bold/trendy/avant-garde prints are sold individually. Not everyone is a “fashion blogger” who wants to stand out all the time. Another pet peeve of mine is when creators provide only 1 color or untextured mesh for the demo and the item comes in 72 different colors/textures. People demo not just for the fit but also how the color/print looks on them. It is hard to rely on imagination alone, and there is a thing such as skin undertones even in SL. While I like pink, it is not safe to say that any shade of pink will look flattering on my avatar/myself. I follow this fashion principle in RL and SL:

You are correct that it is on the edge overlooking void sea, and to give another hint, it is not too far from that wooden bridge in Bear. They are two regions that have been bought and transformed into whimsical Scottish highlands by the magic of a most lovely family.
