  1. SLAudio Pro, a new company offering audio streaming for DJs and live performers, is seeking people to help set up and run a DJ Competition event. If you have working knowledge of Shoutcast, Icecast and/or Centova, we want you. These are paid positions with flexible hours, and a chance to dive deep into the SL DJ & Music scene. Interested? Please IM or send a notecard to Naga Lionheart
  2. You got: Woman in her early twenties We think you're a woman who is between 20 and 24 and is just starting to get her life sorted out. You're either at university or in work and probably quite enjoying it, though you might have a few years to go until you're in your dream job. You're probably dating, though will have a stable partner if you're lucky. You live in a rented flat with friends and are generally doing well in life. Verified by Buzzfeed
  3. I definitely acknowledge that the OP has a very valid point and also that there is likely some truth to the largely negative reasons people have offered to explain it. But I think there are less negative reasons as well - at least it seems so to me based on my more than a few experiences making connections for either friends or romance in avmatch. In my experience, there are lots of people who sound great on paper and with whom you can seem to have a lot in common. And hope being what it is, it is not uncommon for both sides to overshare in the beginning - and definitely the anonymity of the Internet makes oversharing quickly easier. But then, no matter how great or pure your intent, you find that this new friend or potential lover and you... just don't click. Yes, it always surprises me how much of one's personality and vibe seeps through the computer and oozes out of one's av, but it definitely does. I have been with people and you'll have to take it on faith - but both sides were nice and wanted it to work, but it just wasn't happening and became a chore for both. And then, just like in RL, we'd politely make plans never carried through and then just generally drift apart. So I don't know. SL is very different from RL, but then in the end maybe not so different.
  4. SL gives you the freedom to be whoever or whatever you want to be. Why not take advantage?!! Sure there will always be those Real-Lifers who take offense - but they are much less fun and cool so who cares what they say?
  5. Sim lag seems to cause physics weirdness for me.
  6. There seems to be 2 camps in SL - those whose SL being is an extension of their RL self and for whom verification is an issue... and those who see SL as a totally second life not at all bound by RL and for whom verification means nothing. However, there are some things - like flying - that defy RL for all concerned.
  7. Get the marketing, advertising or even clerical help you need for next to nothing! Hire are 3 compelling reasons for hiring me as your marketing assistant and/or personal assistant: 1) I have RL ad agency and marketing experience - more years than I care to say 2) I am an accomplished marketing strategist, branding expert, copywriter and graphic designer... and have Adobe Creative Suite (for work) and know how to use it 3) I work cheap!!! I'm not looking for a job for the money really but just to meet people, help them, and have something productive to do other than stand around and... y'know On top of that, I've been in SL since 2006 and definitely know my way around, am obsessively vain and have a gorgeous meshy av and more clothes, hair, etc. than i can ever wear, am decent at SL photography (you can check out my Flickr - link in my in-world profile) PLUS am fun, friendly and funny and super-nice to all. And i don't do drama... unless it's required for the job. I can be available for consulting or creative gigs. But my preference would be to have a regular ongoing job reporting to a boss. For me, it would be an awesome change of pace to let somebody else be the boss and call the shots! If you need help and can't afford to pay, that's OK too - but you will have to be nice. I am on pretty much every day for many hours - nights usually (6-ish to midnigh-tish SLT) tho I can also pop on during the day sometimes as work permits. I am self-employed irl so have some flexibility. If Interested, please contact me in-world. Thanks! Mason Elizabeth Monroe (username - Mason Lauridsen)
  8. Oops i just saw croptop. Ison also has that. Here's the skirt https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ISON-lace-up-mesh-skirt-white/10083946 and there is also a matching crop top.

  10. They have some mature skins on MP. Kate by YSYS is pretty good if you have a mesh body and head. There are many more options for classic bodies. I have a mature skin and a granny skin I made a while back that are quite unique. Send me an IM in world and I will send them to you for free if you're interested,
  11. So I have found and bought a number of pre-configured bento facial expression ao's and I love the realism the provide, i.e., not having a static face. But just like with my regular ao, I want to create my own custom facial expressions ao using my own selectin of bento anims. I did purchase the Catwa hud which does allow one to do this, but it requires renaming of all anims used to a structure that the Catwa hud can read, and many of the bento anims I have ths far collected are no mod. I am thinking to experiment using a conventional ao and throw in the Bento facial anims and indicate to use them for stands, and configure the notecard to run upper and lower face anims concurrently... and hope it will run ok alongside my built-in Firestorm ao. My question for the experts here - is there a good and relatively easy was for one to build a custom facial expression hud for bento heads? If so, it would make for a much more sexpressive SL!
