Good luck in SL with any PC in that price range. They might run SL but you will be on low to med graphics at best and you will struggle to run smoothly on any populated or graphically intense SIM.

Basiccly it's a "drama feature". I've never seen anything positive come form them to be honest. People spend a lot of time & L$ on their avatars then get upset when people look at them. Go figure!!! I fail to see how they contribute to anythng positive in SL and fail to see why anyone would be so sensitive as to really care where others are looking. Just like RL when you're out in public you should have no resonable expecation or privacy and like the preivious post there are not an accurate exact refference on where a person is actually looking.

I am not completly sure what you are experiencing however,...It may be the the "make Zoom instances not smooth" in the Preferences/Input & Camera tab. Try changing that option referenced in the red in the pic below. That's they only thing I can imagine might be doing what you descibed.

EMO-tions Hair & Clothes has a couple similar to the pic you provided in their Fantasy & Tails section. I sent you the LM inworld. Good luck with the search, I am sure there must be a hair like that in SL someplace. I will see what else I can find at some other shops I know of.:smileyhappy:

You can right click and remove them but it seems it has to be clicked in just the right spot to get the clothing to highlight. Is it much easier and practical to do it from inventory.

In the Horsa SIM at K&B Skins they have some freebie boxes and one is a skin. I sent you a LM inworld. As I recall it is not very tan but it is decent skin for free.

Well there are many types of lag. Server side and Client side. A lot of peolpe claim as you do about certian busy SIMS lagging. Most times that is client side or system/connection issues. I got the same thing before on previous LL viewer upgrades. I started doing a clean unstall as I do witht the firestorm viewer and thats has stop the errors.

Top left of viewer selct "ME" then select "MOVEMENT" then select "STOP ANIMATING ME"

I don't know what viewer you are using but you can do as you disribed in your first post in the Firestorm Viewer. Preferences>Move & View>Firestorm. Disable (uncheck) "reset camera position on avatar movment".

I agree - I run an Aleinware Aurora tower and it's been rock solid for SL for last 2yrs. I have a close friend in SL that recently switched to that same laptop you mentioned and she said it was an awesome improvment. She said she couldn't be happier. :smileyhappy:

I will jump in here and say as of today all my viewers are updated. FS 64, Singularity 64, Black Dragon & today's new LL update/release. For the last 2 LL releases the new mesh avis "streak" for me. I think sobody told me they go to 0.0.0 on the SIM. All other views display the avis fine. How weird it that? :matte-motes-agape:

I agree the new mesh avia as defalt choice is not a great idea. Confuses new people even more but my guess is that this is part of the new thinking/transition to the new platfom. I bet it will be mainly meshed based. Just a guess but time will tell,

On the LL viewer you can hit CTRL+SHIFT+U to toggle to full screen. You can also hit ALT+SHIFT+H to toggle all HUD's invisible.

They posted this after the sent all clear to log in. They were throtteling the log ins. Makes sense. Thats a whole lot of inv to load! deubg true to false of the "PlayTypingAnim" dont seem to disable sound :( UPDATE 5/22 Yes. First place I went was CTRL+P (preferences) however my "Play typing animation while typing" box is unchecked/ disabled. That's why I went to debug,.
