I started using blender 2.5 afew days ago and can't understand how to bake my skins. The old version of blender was just as confusing for me. From watching some tuts it seems that you need to set up a metarial first. I guess this helps blender to bake your skin realisticly, for example a stone texture would not reflect as much light as a metal texture? Then you set which texture you wish to bake onto the current model? For example my face texture from photoshop. Now I go to bake the texture select Ambient Occlusion and it removes my texture and replaces it with a gray texture like stone :smileysad: Please help!
