May we have some better ban options?
Dilbert Dilweg replied to Jenni Darkwatch's topic in Second Life Viewer
Probably a lost cause But try and vote and get others to vote on Jiras to get them fixed.. SVC-6807? too many want to close it and shut it down tho because of their own views.. -
I would still create a different cache location for the current viewer installed incase something ended up corrupt because of the 2 being installed without separation.. Worth a try.

My thoughts are.. Lets see it instead of hear it -
Do you still have both Versions of SL installed? Phoenix and viewer 2.0+? If so. You may want to try to Separate the caches on each viewer. I have found that creating my own Cache folder and directing my viewer to it helps.. Open the Preferences of each viewer and set a Cache other than the default one If you install multiple viewers it is good to go in and keep all the caches and settings separate preferences/network

The Second Life Economy in Q4 2010
Dilbert Dilweg commented on Nelson Linden's blog entry in Featured News
Yea well you all let the bot situation get out of control again . So of course repeat logins will be up 1 % and user hours steady. Doesn't reflect true accurate numbers if you cant control Bots infesting regions once again -

Technology Improvements for Q1 Including Raising Group Limit to 42
Dilbert Dilweg commented on FJ Linden's blog entry in Tools and Technology
The Improvements sound great.. But March for group chat to be fixed? Eeek. I just find the process a little backwards. What good does it do to be in a bunch of groups that you can not have a decent conversation in? Any word on fixing group loading and member maping on groups over 20,000 members? Groups basicly become unuseful and unable to manage if over a certain amount of members. I have to create several groups just for 1 group to be able to properly manage it. Heh The important functions of collaboration tools should be the top priortiy And Quantity of groups second Somehow I see this putting more load on current group chat system currently in place But great to se a little progress and Upcoming Features.... Peace to All -

Bringing Teens to Second Life’s Main Grid

There goes the neighborhood I want an option on my region to disallow Under 18 residents. If they can be flaged out of Adult regions then give G rated (Private region) owners the option to opt out With our own flag settings
