oh! that explains it, thank you very much

I have looked through the forum, but could not find a related topic, so very sorry if I have missed it anywhere and I`ll be happy if I just get a link to it, if there is one already. My problem: I got a mesh skirt (full perm) and linked four buttons (full perm) to it (and a little object to make it my creation). When I now put the skirt on, it is where it should be (around my hips, but attached to right hand), but the four buttons I attached, are floating around my right hand (see pic: http://gyazo.com/8698f3ca380a9c6dfd962172c13634fa) why are the buttons away from the skirt? What have I done wrong :( Thanks in advance for any little help :)
