  1. Wow.... Great answer! Thanks! I knew there had to be some way out of that conundrum! I'll try it as soon as I get home from RL work! Gee, I feel so empowered now!
  2. I have group land that is at my tier max, including the "10% bonus" sq m. I would like to transfer some parcels of that land to a different group which I would own in order to give land privileges to certain members for certain parcels and not all parcels. The question is, how do I set a parcel for sale and purchase it for a group without going over my tier? I'll never actually own more than my tier in sq m, but the donations may "stick" during the transaction and drive me into the next higher tier. If I buy the land from my group personally, then I lose the 10% bonus and that will drive me over tier. Is there a way to handle this? I can't be the first person to have this problem.
  3. OMG, that was quick! Thank you both for the information!
  4. Can anyone tell me how high that build can be and still be shown in the SL Map? I am building some large "sky" objects over my parcel, but I don't want them to "cover" the view of my ground level parcel on the map. So how high must I place these builds so that they will not be shown in the map view?
  5. Assuming that you are on Windows, try hitting Ctrl-Alt-Del, start Task Manager, click Processes tab, click checkbox for "Show processes from all users", click the CPU column header twice to sort descending in order of CPU utilization....see what process is tieing up your CPU. Maybe that will give you a clue.
  6. Thank you all for a very enlightening discussion. You won't believe how much head scratching I did trying to figure out why LL kept miscalculating my group donated sq m. Then, from your thread, I learned about the 10% group allowance. Detailed questions like that and precise answers like were provided are very helpful to all who read this blog!
