Woohoo! Just got on, rezzed and able to tp.

The grid status maintenance notice don't tell you much, that's for sure.

Can't get into Netflix either. I guess the whole internet IS messed up, altho FB is still working. Yes when I try to tp I crash as well and I can only get on with Firestorm, SL Viewer not working at all for me.

OH yeah I read about that too. Ugh I hope its fixed soon, not THAT long lol. But thanks, DaddyMatt. But this sucks though sighs.

Yes I did check that but didn't see where anyone on the forum was posting about having issues. This hasn't happened to me in a LONG time. What are the lindens doing now lol.

Anyone having issues? I can't rezz, if I try to tp I crash.

42.5k now, was at 60+k at one time and been here almost 8 years. I'm sure I could get it down to 25k but its time-consuming to go thru my inventory cuz I do piccies for almost everything, and box up as much as I can so becomes VERY boring after a bit. I continually junk up my inventory and at some point come back and clean up but never seem to get ahead lol. I have done an inventory management class which I highly recommend.

An old subject that's always bound to get a lot of opinions lol. Personally I wear a very non-intrusive. softly lit, facelight that I picked up from League for free but I don't think Nena offers it anymore. I dunno why peeps get bugged by facelights. This has never bothered me, not even once in SL. You can turn off seeing this or you can mute if it's really bugging you. For myself, I'm not a fan of the big butz, lolas, or revealing butt cracks that seems to be the style but if I find this really offensive I mute and it's DONE. But peeps just like to complain. BTW, the only lolas I'd ever thought were done right was the ones Strawberry Singh sports in her pics. Check 'em out on her blog. There was one time I had on a super lit facelight for a photo but forgot to take it off and went wondering around SL for the rest of the day. Yes I'm kinda dense sometimes. Finally someone made a comment, like being blinded by the light or something. In this instance I was thankful that someone had opened their big mouth & wish I'd realized earlier as I was a bit embarrassed lol.

So many peeps were complaining about choosing their own last name instead of one from the Linden generated list that the Lindens came up with the bright idea of the Resident last name with the ability to have your own screen name which is a TERRIBLE idea. I'd really like to know who came up with that one lol. You can choose your own names in Inworldz, Not sure why you can't do that for SL. But I liked the Linden generated last names, now people want them back. Too late, screwed now lol.

If you do a search for "set home" you will find quite a few options.

Inventory organizing is a BIG BORE but I got from 60k items to 41k by doing it and could prolly get to 30k as its still QUITE messy. I had lots of stuff I never used/wore or wouldn't use now so deleting vs boxing was the question. Boxing is REALLY boring and time-consuming, easiest to delete if you're really not going to use it. I mostly wear mesh so that helped get it down. Also took an inventory organizing class at New Citizens Inc about two years ago which helps a lot. Using filters and search for finding dups helps, creating folders and sub-folders is a must. I would start with that first. Also stuff I use most I put at the top of folders or use less I put at bottom of folders by using characters. I put on some good music that helps the monotony. Also I take pictures of everything in my inventory but that means what I buy is 10L more from uploads. Problem is this is time-consuming and distracting as picture taking is a hobby for me. So I'm prolly the slowest person ever for inv organizing, maybe I need some suggestions too lol. Tamara Artis idea about getting a sales assistant job for organizing inventory sounds cool, never thought of that. Only thing about organizing inventory while sitting on a camper chair is it's good for some things like routing out dups but most of the time you can't open boxes there. It always seems to come down to opening a box for me.

Why do so many peeps find issue about a linden home lol. I took one up when I wanted a place rent free and it was good for for that. Would've been nice to have more prims but oh well. Now I want it again and as a PREMIUM user I should be able to get it but none are available. AND homes should be available for ALL types, not just the fairy or asian ones.

This "perk" for paying premium has been unavailable for awhile now. Lindens please stop making airplanes and start making houses lol. This should always be available for premium members.

Why are Linden homes being advertised on my dashboard when there is none presently available at the moment. This is supposed to be an AVAILABLE benefit for premium users. I'd rather have a home then an airplane lol.

I deleted my alt, not my main, back in 2008 because my RP partner requested it & I miss that alt to this day. I think most people pretty much regret deleting an alt. Plus altho back in 2008 I didn't know there'd be a switch to the dreaded Resident last name, I agree, it's almost sacrilegious to delete an original two name avi. Just keep your main, maybe it just needs a good rest and play SL with your alt. Although I also agree with Mandji, could be at some point you feel the same way about your alt. We tend to do the same things and make the same decisions or mistakes in whatever situation we're in after awhile. Might want to give that some thought too.

Does anyone have an answer to this? I'm basically ruthed & can't get out of it.

My Sommerland Resident account can't wear anything without receiving the above message. I've tried character test, rebake, clearing cache, nothing works. Anyone know what to do about this? Please helpppp, thanks. :)

At the very least, post some groups they can get into, like New Citizens, Fabulously Free in SL. They need more easy and available resources from the start.

This is REALLY annoying. When I use V2 & my avatar shakes whether I'm standing or walking around. This doesn't happen when I use Phoenix viewer. I think it has something to do with avatar physics but I have it ALL turned off. Does anyone know what to do about this??? I wish the Lindens had never put that physics junk in, ever since then I've had probs. Please help! Thanks.

I was very happy with my linden-made last name. BUT some people started crabbing about wanting their own first & last name & this is the crazy "Resident" last name with display name set-up LL came up with. If everyone had left well enough alone there wouldn't be even MORE complaining. Some people just like to complain.
