And when is secondlife coming with MFA ststem that not need some app and smartphone. It just need to work on desktop without the need of walking to a phone and be forced to use app that i avoid. Sms would be ok, but still annoying. E-mail is perfect. As long SL use auth app MFA is a no no.

Inventory manager that works like norton commander or total commander would make organizing so much better and faster. Miving files around the current way is always clumpsy.

Think like a creator that sell expensive copy item. And then people want a refund on the copy item because the already own it. In many cases that sounds like the seller get scammed by the buyer to try to get a free expensive item if there's no proof. And because linden lab not keep buyer history and many not save the history to disk you see the problem. There's one option that would make a refund possible without problems. If both sides have a proof that you already bought it before and it's the same item and not a new version you normal need to buy. Because lack of free update policy.

E-mail notifications, at least something usefull. Much better then the mfa secondlife optional use that forces you to use app and smartphone. Who use apps when you have e-mail.

What you ssy is that linden lab need to make secondlife 3.0 and dump secondlife 1.0 with all the content and hope users move to 3.0. Hmm, not see that working. The failed sith sansar to and many other platforms struggled or died. Also, not sure if you can change unreal in realtime platform like secondlife. It's extreme hard to replace secondlife for something modern that works like secondlife.

Thest login screen is empty one of still picture with less graphics. I never look at the login screen. The worse login screen is the secondlife viewer. And i don't like the secondlife ui , the made it more complex then needed. Btw, not like v1 ui too, that's to old.

If the legs would disapear in secondlife the bones would disapesr to. So it's not easy to put legs back. You can only do that then with scripted and animated leg attachments. So it's a bit less simple then it sounds.

It's low poly. If poly would like low poly other platforms that are older would already be bigger. And the avatars look ugly to. Secondlife much better. And modt important, as long FB have reallife name requirement it's anyway a no go. Besides, it's just a terrible platform.

Facebook is far behind secondlife. There better platforms that have avatars with legs in VR. The main reason why facebook look cartoon is that the want to run it on cheap vr hardware that not have the power. Legless cartoon avatars look extreme ugly, especialy in vr where you expect legs. Anyway, never going to use facebook anyway.

Windows 11 sucks, the taskbar is complete screwed and you need to use some app to get (some) functionality back. Like moving it to the side of the screen. Not sure if quickstart is gone. Round corners are just waste of resources. Am happy with square corners. Not happy you need secure boot. Not to talk about home users that are forced to create a microsoft account. Never link windows ro the cloud ! But for now i don't need to worry, my perfect running system is to old for windows 11 not plan to leave windows 10 for long time anyway.

It's optional now. But i know companies good enough that the are going to force it to users. That's the problem. Most fear can be fixed by implementing the e-mail version like steam uses before the force it.

Bad mfa implementation. This why i hate it. Because the force you to use a smartphone. Something that's never in range. The need to implement e-mail version. Or just not implement it. 2fa is only made to annoy users. If you use your brains 2fa is nit needed to. Never did feel i need it. I never clear viewer cache. Mabye once in a few years. It's also not good to clear it everytime what i did read.

Sounds like a full clean reinstall of firestorm is a good thing to try. On the firestorm website you can find instructions.

Hope secure boot is still option. That's really a melon in your butt. It's terrible. Tpm requirement not excite me also. And am worried about the screwed the gui. Not need a center taskbar, and it still need to be moveable to left side of screen. Not looking forward to win11, besides am on 4th gen intel cpu, need to see it on other system first.

The only way it's a but acceptable is if the send e-mail with a code. Overall cursing on 2FA especially when you need to go grab your phone from somewhere. The way steam is doing it is pretty good and not so annoying. But i do not deny that it can be a good thing.

My idea is that friends sometimes drop of your list. It did happen that a friend have done request to me and a while later be seems dropped and send it again. Seems more stable last months.

Use notepad instead. As far i know you can set the font size for reading on your screen. And it rips all the html crap off. Or just write it in there and copy paste it to forum

Steam and secondlife. Hmmmm. - Why is the framerate so low ? - why is there so much lag ? - what is the goal ? No, secondlife and steam, not sounds a good combination. Also what are the rules with inworld currency and steam ? Steam and secondlife, i think you will get lot's of bad reviews because people expected something else.

It's so simple, keep politics out of secondlife. If you do that it's saving a lot of drama. Need to admit not seen signs. But i know chatting about politics is good for trouble.
