It is pretty impossible technical and by law to use the same assets in Sansar. Also why do you want most of Secondlife in Sansar ? sculpts, prims, old sounds many things are so outdated or bad that is the 3rd reason to not think about converting it.

If you can start firestorm, so you seethe login screen. pretty sure that is possible. Then go the the menu top left and go into preference. then you can make backup of your settings. You not need to login to make a backup !

Not use it very much in SL only for movies. But sofar i know it works fine here. Did you enabled the joystick functionality under preference, ?

Check if the land is set for sale to you. Checkmif you got a group invite and accept it, wear the group tag and you can access the land. This are two things you can check.

a full sim would be good with a cost of 150 $ month and a homestead not more of 50$, Wow, 150$ / month for full sim ? that's heavy overpriced. A full sim neeed to stay below 50.01$ and still that is a bit expensive. but a comparable price with a good server you can rent. 40$ is especially high if Linden Lab is sharing the server with other sims. I would say 25$ for a full sim is really the max. as a good price. you can rent a 4 core dedicated server here for 35 euro. in case you would run opensim as example. For sansar Linden Lab oneday wrote soemthing about web hosting prices. That would mean it need to be below or around 10$ for a big piece of land. Better would be if Linden Lab move out of the expensive usa. then the can drop prices more.

Yes, ity's early alpha. It looks already better, depends where you look. It's still alpha so it can always look better. but that's with SL and SanSar the same. only people start to make conclusions because the see something that's not finished. That's why sadly LL keep sansar hidden, and that's more annoying then see something that is not finsihed. still like SanSar work in progress. . But if you cannot run HiFi. I don't expect you can run SanSar with the hardware you have.

f you don't like SanSar because some reasons. there's something else in development that's looking similiar to what SanSar must be. Not from Linden Lab. People that follow things know what i mean. Not going to advertise here.

The wiki is pretty oldandoutdated, as example on windows 10 it's enough to plug it in and your done. possible same with 7 abd 8. There are a few ways. The page ip / page down key let you fly up or down. yiu need tohold the page up mabye a bit longer before you start flying. the other way is by add the fly button. Go to the button bar on the bootom of you viewer. click with the right mouse button, then menu opens. there you see option to add new buttons to the menu bar. choice that. A new window opens where you can drag the button you need from that screen to yur button bar.

Tried it with 3 viewers already Singulareity (opensim) Secondlife and firestorm. The all have the same problem. The firestomr group gave me some hints. and it's a corner where Linden lab is much to blame because the ignore problems for years. I need to use 125% dpi setting in windows to make things readable. Because that settings Linden lab viewers create problems. And now there's a new one with windows 10 i describe in this topic. And linden lab knowing the ignore this important problem with dpi settings , over and over for years.

Not the solution. I do't like 3rd person. it's terrible with walking. I see 3rd person as default sooner go then stay. Stop using windows 10 make more sense. because windows 10 is sure not the best.

Ok. big problem with windows 10 If i use Mouselook or map and scroll / looka round and then stop the world keeps many times moving in the last direction In mouselook it seems to happen in up / down / right movement. you can only stop it by moving the mouse in the other direction. On the map you can trigger the problem by doing the following things open map, click left mouse button, and move the map around. hold the left mouse buttton but stop the movement. The map keeps moving. This happens already on 2 systems, and one is clean win 7 installation upgraded to windows 10. Tried singularity, Secondlife and firestorm and the all have the problem. It seems a bit rare problem, because most i talk with never seen it, it's pretty annoying because i use mouselook 50% of the time. Anyone have saeen the problem and know the solution. yes the solution is to install windows 7. but that only delay the problem.

Secondlife works on windows 10, tested with singularity and firestorm viewer. tested withmnvidia 6xx card. but don't install the latest nvidia driver. that one is broken on windows and create strange ide effects when you maximize the window. Windows 10 self is other story, lots od customization options i need re gone. for secondlife i needed to lower tge ui scaling. seems font dpi works better. Bur not got enough time yesterday to test everything.

Something else i hope Linden Lab is doing it this time good from scratch instead of putting something in and never fix it. because with sansar there are not TP{V viewer that can fix the problem. Linden Lab, implement a good and correct working font dpi setting. Looking to the way blender have done it is a good idea. Default fonts are to small !

I hope sansar get developed with the avatar default in 1st person look and that everything is designed for first person look. also that the camera is in correct angle and that buildings are scaled. Buildiongs caled have also the good thing that textures can be smaller without loseing quality

And at my side of the planet that would be around 25$ / month for a server. without extra crazy setup costs linden lab is asking now for a server that you still share. - I have read that people in sansar get free land, is it much bigger then the silly useless 512sqm in secondlife ?

Am curious if you ever dowloaded one of the reqiired secondlife viewers and did login into the virtual world. you talk about a website, tht would sugget you never did looked into the virtul world. After you in the virtual world you need to take time to explorer look around and discover all the thngs you can do.

Something mst be designed terrible wrong, the force you to enable to bad WASD keys to use as example the M key for mouselook. why a bad implementation lik tnis i don't know. lucky mousewheel works. but the better fix it. i always go fly by pressing the PG UP key until yonstart flying. so you dom't need to enable the bad WASD keys.

magic Box, does tht still work ? sofar i know support for magic boxes is stopped. you need to put items on marketplace with the merchant outbox in the viewer and then create the page for the item on the marketplace website. But, inworld sale is more fun.

First question is what framerate you have now. if its very low then with oculus rift it dont get better. For oculus rift, how higher the framerate how better the experience and less change for motion sickeness. The main problem, it sounds like your viewer is set to a verylow fraphics setting where some options like basic shders are disabled. goto the preference >graphics > custom (or advanced) and try to enable the options you nee or just swith the slider from low (if set on that) to higher setting until the basic shader is enabled. Anyway for other readers, what graphics card do you gave ?
