  1. As others have mentioned derender one option. In addition, I have found a very polite IM to the landowner may work - many time these itrems are a result of old land setting that allow anyone to rezz and the current owner may not realize what is up in the sky. To help with this you can right click on the items and go to edit see who / what group owns items. You may provide that info to the landowner (if it is not landowners things). Even if it is their things you may still bring it to their attention and remind them that cleaning up will free extra prims they may need. Don;t forget, you may want to check your own land to see that there are no object that are not yours. Do this in parcel details, objects. I sometimes wonder if future Sl archeologist may be digging up long lost items.
  2. YES, you can track the names of people yolu have exchanged money with for up to 45 (?) days. 1) Login at at secondlife.com 2) on the left side click on 'account' 3) on left side click on 'account history' 4) you will see "These are your US$ billing transactions for the previous 45 days. For your Linden Dollar (L$) transaction history, please click here" 5) obviously click 'click here' 6) select the date range and wheter or not to exclude 0 linden transactions that should help identify people /places where money was exchanged. If you want to keep those record, copy and paste number into your own spreadsheet (openoffice is free btw) If you have an issue, first try contacting that person to resolve the issue. You may wish to save your IMs if you do not already. If there is still an issue you might try contacting lindens or filing an AR if there was a violation of TOS but dont count on that resolving anyhting
  3. I dont think you can truly hide them in the newest firestorm - the 'hidden' groups do not automatically disply but tehre is a button to click that will display anther avatars 'hidden' groups. If someknows how to disable that, please let me know.
  4. I was hoping to find the same information - searching for parcels using map is very ineffecient. My impression is Lindens doe NOT include "abandoned land for sale" because 1) they are embarrased by how much there is (not to mention the abandoned land that is not for sale) 2) that it might seem unfair competition to to landowner trying to sell land 3) perhaps it gives local residents a better cahnce to purchase adjacent land If any one knows how to find the linden abandoned land for sale other than using map. please let me know.
  5. Perhaps a good opportunity to try Pheonix or Firestorm. (though viwer 2.7 search is now nearly as good as old viewer 1.23 seach, except now has notable lag, like profiles have, due to its web-based nature)
