mute and unmute your boss....i know sounds weird. My SL parnter and I had the same problem. He couldn't see any of my messages but I could see his. When he muted me and then unmuted me the problem went away.

Your best bet would be to open your own store. Most creators have main stores and are doing ok and won't want to split their profits with you. You can find many cheap stores that you can rent to get started. Just make a name for yourself and see how you do And Remember we all started off somewhere.

there are a bunch of clubs hiring hosts right now. You can try joining some groups to find a host job, look in the classifed adds, or go club hopping to see which clubs are hiring. Best thing to do is pick a type of music you like and hop around those clubs to find a job.

My first suggestion would be to make sure that item is in the magic box. Then when you go to the marketplace, sync up the magic box and your inventory, then try and create the item in there. As for the viewer there are other viewers out there you can use. Phoenix, Firestorm, Linden Labs viewers, and the list goes on. You just have to find one that works best for you. Some merchants have both an inworld store and marketplace store, some have just an inworld store and some have just a marketplace store. It all depends on what you think is best for your store. People are making alot of different things, dance floors and stuff like that are still used by some. You just have to make things you think will sell.

If you become ruthed you should try rebaking or reloging. Sometimes it's just an issue SL is having. We have all had this problem at least once. The best thing you can do is stay calm and take it one step at a time.

find a random object and block/mute it. That sould bring up your mute/block list. You can find the name of the person your looking for and unblock/unmute them. Once that is done you can check in their store and see if they have a re-delievery terminal. If they do, click it and get your items. If not the creator might be willing to help you out. You have to add it as a gift BEFORE it goes in the cart. They changed the Marketplace. When your looking at the item on the right hand side should be a button that says "send as gift". Click that, put the name in and it then goes to your cart for you to buy.

This whole rank on the forums seems a bit out there to me. I mean do any of us really care what rank the other person is? All it does is show how often you get on here and look at posts and reply to them. I personally don't get on here very often and could care less if you have a "special" rank or not. It's all the same to me lol

If you can't set it up as inactive, another thing you can do is edit the listing and make it a limit of one. Then use an alt or a friend to purchase the item. It might fix the glitch. Also if you re-rez the magic box and find the item and delete it out of the magic box it might fix the glitch. I know pain in the butt huh? Hope it gets fixed for ya.

this actually happpens alot in SL. YES it sucks and yes it gets old fast. After you report this person to LL I would ban them from any land you may have and mute them and go along your business. It makes them look worst than it makes you look.

You are right in what you said. A DJ that has to voice over their music takes away the reason people come to a club in the first place. They come to have fun and listen to the music, not listen to the dj talk over every other song.

your best bet would be to hit up a club looking for hosts or dancers. There are alot of clubs hiring and some of them might take a chance on you. All you can do is try. Fill out an application and see what happens, sometimes clubs will train you.

rathing than fart around with job agencies, you can go to most clubs in sl and find out if they are hiring. You can also look in the classified adds for people looking for help. Most clubs are hiring right now so I would start there. Job agencies never work in my experience, but that's just me.
