  1. It absolutely astounds me how someone can be upset about anything that has to do with cartoon avatars. I am usually a furry. A furry skunk and I get alot of attacks and abuse but I find it amusing. Ground sit or move lock or leave or block and derender. It is all there to use. I find most griefers hilarious, entertaining and absolutely annoying but that is part of the thrill of SL. The wild, wild west. You can bet that more than once someone has derendered your clothing and had a great moment looking at your naked avatar while AFK.

I was once included in a griefing video by a character named Britbong on Youtube. TBH I loved it. It was funny, yes humiliating but only if I took it seriously lol. Just sit back in your chair and watch the griefing until it becomes tiresome and then TP away. You cannot be physically hurt or harmed.

Maybe they will do a hobbit theme someday?  Titans already makes a really nice Hobbit home called The Burrow. (I would link it with a MP link but it's not on the MP. Hopefully they still sell it?)

Another fun little hobbit like home I love is my little Candle& Cauldron-The Burrow Den-- https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/CC-Burrow-Den/14269653

I use this one. Best textures and most realistic,-https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Fanatik-Architecture-NAKAMA-mesh-fantasy-cottage-mesh-building-prefab-package-houses-fences-gate-and-hills/5141546

  3. I had a fantasy home for awhile and did like it but I was dissapointed in having no "Hobbit" homes like they had with the older Linden Homes. I used to love that style. I gave up on Bellisseria and premium accounts and just rent mainland and built my own Hobbit hole with my own fantasy landscapes etc.

For the average user: Yes that is true, people who want to complain because their Santa hat from 2009 somehow doesn't rez can easily wait.
But there are people who make their living out of SL. Huge landlords, big designers...
So SL isn't only an entertainment tool that can wait a few days, like for most of us.

Even business can wait, it's Christmas for Pete's sakes. It's Second Life not an emergency ward. Priorities need to be set. (rolls eyes).

I bought a new tumble dryer a few days ago. Yesterday when I tried to use it the first time, it turned out to malfunction big time.
So I contacted support and they offered me to replace the dryer today (December 25).  I made that Monday, but that is how a 24/7 economy works.
To me there is no real excuse, that there isn't any support during the holidays.
Look around: restaurants, bars, theaters, circuses, hospitals, supermarkets, police and fire stations a lot of shops, online stores, pizza delivery, and and and.... they are all doing business today. If I call the cable company today, I get support.

It is a lame excuse not to have to fork up the extra dollars they have to pay during the holidays.
At the very least, they show that they don't care for their customers, but for the extra buck that is to be saved into their profit accounts IMHO.
They simply know they have us hooked, we will go nowhere when displeased, there is still no real alternative.

THIS is the attitude and self entitlement that ruins holidays for everybody and makes this world as screwed up as it is today. It is a holiday. Relax!
