Apologies if I got this wrong due to only spending a total of 15 minutes in Sansar, but I always understood that the big problem they were trying to crack was scalability.... allowing an arbitrarily large number of avatars to be at an event. The solution was to clone the event many times so that a subset of the event goers were in each clone. Consequently, there was no world map and no going from point A to point B. Accordingly, no need for traveling in vehicles as the way you moved around was teleporting. So water is decorative.

Can't believe I stayed there even 15 minutes.

True they tried that but that was not a really viable solution either since you and your friends could end up in different instances. And still water is one of the four elements in most worlds and instead of having the pretty animated water SL has there was just a blob of something blue and transparent.

Sansar's omissions were the real killer, to this day it has almost no social tooling at all. It kind of gave the message that they didn't want people meaningfully and personally interacting beyond the bare minimum.

Sure there was local voice and a chat panel .. but no one at LL wanted to touch the question, what if someone had two friends .. and they weren't in same place gormlessly staring at their avatars and spamming gestures.

It was like they were trying to build the ultimate party .. having only ever seen pictures of a party, in the end it said far more about what LL thought a virtual world was about than anything else.

Don't forget Sansar had no actual water for more or less it's whole run with LL. How do you miss one of the four elements? Like how??? 😂

That is rather curious. I just had a few people do a seach for me and they could not find any of that.

    Where did you search from?

Like this: she copied the key from inside SL then combined it with the first part of the web address: https://world.secondlife.com/resident/050165df-0729-4c47-a71f-92747bdd985c Obviously this data is indeed public without us having to log in to the SL site but one has to be a bit creative to reach it or I just missed a way to search for it.

Edit: ok clearly you can search and find profiles as proven by the posts below but the success rate depends on the search engine used, I used google and that didn't work for some reason.

I assumed this was an intentional fix.  As a general rule, exterior doors should open inward, otherwise, the hinges are exposed, making breaking into homes a fairly easy task.  Of course, RL consequences don't always apply to SL, and Linden Home doors don't even feature hinges, but from an architectural point of view, inward is correct.

I like the sliding doors idea, especially if they are pocket doors so the opening can be as large as possible...all the benefits of open doors without the added clutter.  I make all of my add-ons with pocket doors for this reason.

That really depend on where in the world you live, here in Sweden all doors more or less open outward for fire security purposes. I can see your point but the thing is in this particular theme the other doors downstairs open inward and that's fine but the balcony doors move in so far on the second floor and many of us have our beds in that exact place so it ruins the whole room. I totally like the sliding doors though that would solve alot of problems with space. 🐹

I've checked on a Winchester I have and yes, I have the same issue; really weird, it crashes with all the furniture :( . I hope they can fix it

Just in case you need it in the future: in the support page, were you logged in? If you were not, the account issue is the only one you can choose from

Oh you know I gave up finding the support page through the home page so I googled it and that's likely what happened then, good catch. :)

Within Land&Region, you have the option of Linden homes. Lil also tagged Abnor, so either way, I'm sure you'll be getting a reply

Strange it only showed account under issue type before but now it's working. Will hold off creating a ticket though since Abnor has been tagged and this issue is bigger than just my house alone.

  7. For some reason the balcony doors now open inwards. They used to open outwards since I got the house on Belli day 1 april 15th 2019. This is terribly inconvenient for my bedplanning so hopefully this is just somekind of script glitch. However I tried to rezz the Westminster open floor plan version and that one has the same problem but even worse, on that style the doors don't even open properly but more at an angle. 🐹
