There is another possible answer here - The question did ask about another avatar, not another account! You can have as many avatars in one account as you like! If you right-click on yourself, and go to edit appearance, you will see a button on that window that says make outfit. Use that to save the appearance you have now. (with practice, you can build them into a folder directly.) Your look will be saved into one folder. ( Careful of No-copy items - they won't go away, but may get moved around later.) Now, you can change yourself any way you want, and still get back if you need to. buy outfits, even whole avatars, or experiment with what's in the free "library" section of your inventory - whatever look you like, you can save as another outfit.
