  1. It was the quicker before they raised the fees to make it quicker. Right after the fee hike it was quicker for a couple months and then right back to 'days of waiting'. However, lately it has been (IME) an average 48 hour turn over for me, on business days. Cashed out Saturday Night, got it Monday late afternoon. Not gonna complain about that. That said, I don't see why the hold up for most people who cash out regularly to the same account. They can take the money instantly, why can't we get it instantly? I've been cashing out the same basic way for over a decade now, meaning the same basic amount (or less) on a fairly set schedule, to the same PayPal account, for over 10 years. I don't understand why they need to keep verifying that. I'd like to see a 'trusted merchant' classification that allows instant cash out as long as it's to the same Paypal/ Skrill account as the account listed for payment info.
  2. The only thing I can add to this is that if you make clothing with Full Bright and No Mod you are an ... well, IMO that's just silly. Full bright clothing is worthless. Fullbright and No Mod = never buying from you again and I do feel as if you ripped me off because I can't wear it anywhere, ever. I have been hit by this at least 4 times now by different creators and never once have I received so much as a reply to my request for either a Modifiable version (so I can turn off Full Bright) or at least one that isn't Full Bright. Stop making clothing Full bright!
  3. Ok, three guys go skiing. The resort is booked so they have to split a single room and share a bed. They wake up and the guy on the left side recants a dream he just had. "I dreamt I got a hand job!" Guy on the right chimes in "huh, me too?" Dude in the middle looks confused and says "That's weird, I had a dream that I was skiing."
  4. A prim/ vendor can send an object to a person with. https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlGiveInventory The Buyer would need to know the UUID of the person and you'd need to set the vendor up to get that information in a dialog text box. When they buy they get one shirt and the dialog pops up and requests the UUID of the other person, then when it's entered it would send that person the other shirt. You would also need to specify if the buyer was the male or female recipient and set it up to work with either option. A little bit of work but not that bad. May be other ways but this would work. This is how "Buy as a gift" vendors work.
  5. Sending you one I made a bit ago and never listed because it's just nothing but that. Not a vendor nor does it have any other features. Just drop textures into it and use the arrows to cycle through them. Enjoy!
  6. Nope. It has been my experience that LL routinely ignores these reports. My neighbor has over half a dozen traffic bots, none listed as scripted agents, all on land set to show in search, and all have been reported by at least 3 people. They have been there over a year at least and are still there today.
  7. A lot of the stores you see at clubs are probably renting the space to advertise. I have 4 small rental storefronts at popular sandboxes and 1 at a really nice Jazz club. Set up a couple nice little storefronts and put them up for rent at a really good rate to draw in some merchants. Make sure it's set up in a way that people have to walk past them to get to the main area. Like in a theme park where they funnel you through the gift shop after a major ride. You can also get signs that people can rent to advertise their own business or services. Set up a wall with a few on it. Never hurts to try.
  8. How did I friggin miss that? I just spent over an hour coming with a dialog text box script that let's people enter the name they want displayed lol. I did find llRequestDisplayName in the dataserver list as well, after I wrote the whole script.
  9. I don't know of an lsl function that will retrieve a display name or I'd hook you up. Maybe ask in the scripting section? Someone there might know of one. I just went through the wiki and didn't see any but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist.
  10. Not 'imaging' anything at all. I never said so and never mentioned Twitter except to say that I don't tweet, so I have no clue why you're doing the "Yeah but these Apples are just like these Oranges" thing. Twitter is a business that controls all it's servers, just like LL. Mastodon is Open source and controlled by average Joe's. Just like Open Sim. They are nothing alike. I have no dog in this fight, just sharing what I know about Mastodon in case people want to join. They should simply be aware that it's not secure and to not use their standard login information.
  11. I didn't read this entire thread so someone may have said this already but please be aware that the Mastadon servers are owned by individuals. It works like Open Sim. It's a dispersed Open Source network run by many unknown and unchecked people and whoever is running the server you log into can access all your info.. It's not secure and not to be trusted with your actual information. I never tweeted so I won't be riding any Mastodons anyway. Make sure you use original user names & passwords and such for security reasons, all I'm saying.
  12. I have no issues with these changes at all and am happy to save $4 a month. That said I would still; like to see lower steps in the tier system. I would have expanded my holdings a few times if I could do it without doubling my expenses. I had to buy more land than I could have and cut it up then abandon the extra. That makes no sense at all. I had to pay for it then give it away or double my tier for another 700 sq. just to fill my tier. Fortunately the seller did it for me before purchase so I didn't get stuck with double tier for a 30 second ownership over my current tier. LL would make more money from me if I didn't have to jump so high in one step.
  13. I just came here to say this. I don't remember if it's transferable or not though. It's definitely what the OP is looking for.

  15. Yes! No avatar looks or age requirements. I just started this up a couple weeks ago with the Pizza Deliveries and that is going really strong. Could actually use more agents there too. This is stage 2 of a larger project and has 3 Flower shops up and running and over 30 Customer HUDs have been handed out already. I just turned the servers on last weekend. Customer HUDs have been given from the MP and have gone out from the stores. They are free and copy / Trans so anyone can pass them out. It will gain some steam as the weeks go by like the Pizza HUDs are doing. It's designed to be more of an RP job and excuse to go new places and meet new people. And who doesn't love in person, in world delivery of a Flower or Balloon Bouquet? I updated all the Flower & Balloon HUDs today and the system is up and running great. Just grab an employee kit from the link in the first post and you'll be set! There's also a group, Balloonatics HUD In World Delivery Service, if you want info.
  16. Get paid to play! Our new Grid Wide system let's people order Balloon Bouquets and Flowers for personal delivery in world. Pass Out the Free Customer HUDs to help build your client list! Visit http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Werenfort/172/90/1266 and grab an Employee Welcome kit. The NaS-T Pizza HUD system is located here as well so if you're more into Pizzas than Flowers check it out! Or grab both and double the fun. Thanks for looking! Customer HUDS are available free on the MP or in any franchise location.
  17. Thanks for the amazing response! Everyone has been awesomely helpful and so far no major bugs. I was working on adding the Balloons & Flowers to the new Flower Shop server this morning when the restarts came along. I'll get back to it when I get back in world. I have 5 more free 'Pizza HUD' store servers for the Beta test, (5 stores in world now) after that they will only be available for Sale on the MP and I won't be able to discuss them here. Contact me in world for a Store Server kit. It's basically a complete, operating Pizza shop with an editable menu. All you need is a building to put it in. Soul has made an awesome pre-fab that works perfectly with the system. I hope to see more people jumping in to add options I haven't thought of. Deliveries are picked up by the agents (or customers) at a random store. That helps bring people to your location. The store kit even includes an animesh Pizza chef and a custom menu. You can change the items and prices so you can have your own specialty items that are available only in your store. Just added that yesterday by request of a Beta tester. Your custom menu will not affect the delivery menu or be available through the HUD. That's for your store exclusives and all the money from it goes directly to you. We need more delivery agents! Especially in other time zones (I'm US). The system allows for In store Pick-Ups and Instant delivery to inventory but the In-World, In-person delivery is really what it was made for. I got to watch one from an alt and it was really fun. All you do is wear the HUD, Log in and wait for it to call you. Pay is automatic and Tips are yours to keep. Customer Pizza HUDs are, and always will be, free on the MP, or can be had at any in world 'Pizza HUD' location, or from any Delivery agent. If a customer chooses "In store Pick up" The order is sent to a random store and they will be sent a hyper link to it. The order will be waiting for them on the counter. I started a group, Pizza HUD In World Delivery Service, Please join us! I hope people will start hosting Pizza Parties and they can advertise them in the group. KO, the sim should be up and running again. back to work. CIAO!
  18. I added a "Blank" tile to Tic-Tac-Toe and call it Tic-Tac-Toe War. You can reverse a tile from X to blank or O to blank, but not a tile your opponent just changed. Added a fun new element to the game. Takes awhile to play now too and has a lot more strategy involved. Simple games like that I can do, more complex stuff, not yet. 😃
  19. Thanks for looking! Just over a month ago someone in the Builders Brewery group got me started on a new project with the comment "I'd love to get a Pizza delivery in world". In World Pizza delivery. Loved the idea. So, of course, I ran with it and have created a server system to handle not only new bento animated, Fresh, Hot interactive Pizza with personal delivery but also Balloon Bouquets delivered by costumed characters, flowers, and of course, strip-o-grams in the final stage. Phase 1 roll out consists of an Employee HUD and Customer HUDs that work with a grid wide server to take and process Pizza orders, sends agents to a random store to "pick up" the order, they get paid on the spot automatically, then they deliver the order in world to the location/ person specified. Any Tips from the customer are 100% yours to keep. If you are outgoing and think delivering Pizzas or Balloon bouquets dressed like a Gorilla is up your alley, Please contact myself or VictoriaSteam for an Employee Kit and help test the system beta release while getting paid and meeting new people. Customer HUDs are also free if you want to help try out that part. All Pizza orders will be "5 items for 5 Lindens". The whole idea is to create a new way for people to meet new people and have fun RP opportunities, the small Linden amount is to reflect that. This is about having fun and meeting new people and making a few Linden bux at the same time. Just wear the HUD and log in to the server. No need to hang out at our location. Do what you want where you want. When someone orders an item the server will choose an agent at random and contact them through the HUD asking if they are available to deliver the order. If they say no or don't answer it keeps asking agents until someone agrees to deliver the order. If you're busy, click NO. If not, click Yes and go have some fun. If you have a Pizza shop/ restaurant and want a Free 'Pizza HUD' Store server to draw traffic to your location please contact me. I am working on an animesh Pizza Chef to add some life to the system as well as the ability to order directly in store. This is the beta test of a grid wide system so please help me try to find any issues before the full roll out. Thanks again for your time! Artorius Constantine
  20. Heard this in a few groups this morning. Zipped down and verified it myself. The waves were gone.
  21. Animesh doesn't actually move from it's position due to animations. It just appears to. It always thinks it's still in the same place. What you will need to do is create an amination to "step" between the two. It has to start with the avatar/ animesh in the position the desired matching animation ends in and moves the animesh to the place the next desired animation starts at. Basically create a transition sequence. You can't change an animation once it's uploaded. If it starts with the avatar in the center then that's the way it will always start (not counting for ease in). If it ends with the avatar 9.9 meters away from the center it will always end there. Ease in is also an issue as it is not repeated in a loop, so you need to take that into account. SL does not make animation strings easy at all.
  22. There was a free touring script available in Caledon. It was in a building close to the main landing area. If you contact me in world I'll check the perms on it. I think it was one I can pass on. Not sure if Caledon even still exists or if the script is still sitting there but it's a nice script for free.
  23. The windows game bar is free and probably installed already. Hold down 'Win'+'ALT'+'R' to start recording. It will save to your user video library folder in a folder called Captures. Shift+Alt+ U will hide the user interface. Shift+Alt+H will hide your HUDS. Same thing to bring them back.
